A very welcoming atmosphere and the staff was pleasant. I think they do have food and beer but I didnt get anything to eat so I cant review the food. There is league bowling so thats a big plus. Overall its a nice chill spot and not to expensive.
Second time at Lodi Lanes. My girl and I go to Lodi Lanes (from Manhattan) for the laidback atmosphere there.
Fun place to take the family or just hang with friends. They also have an excellent bowling shop
Had a great time with my friends this weekend. It was a great, calm and fun environment. Staff was friendly. I love that although teams are odd, they have the games to where you’re not sitting to wait for everyone to go, it keeps going. It’s hard to explain but it kept the fun going. I will definitely come again
They keep the place modern and clean. Nice place to bowl.
Decent bowling. Kind of dirty. Asked for a tequila shot and a water and they mixed the 2 together and gave it to me.
Our lane wasnt working properly. Smells bad. More for leagues not for fun.
Absolutely love this place. Staff is very accommodating, they sanitize after everyone, and they social distance people pretty well. Prices are cheaper than other bowling centers around too!
Great place to bowl. Very busy tho try to call ahead before going.
Great employees and bartender was on point!
Nice and friendly place, I like the atmosphere.I bowled in the Tuesday league subbing or as a substitute and is very competitive, you will always find those type of people with very few friends face 😀 but definitely I would recommend this place. Oh by the way bar staff is really nice I liked it. Peace ✌.
Great establishment.....really go out of their way to take care of not only the leagues, but the open bowlers as well.Donnas French toast on Sunday morning at the snack bar is a MUST have..hahahah
Very clean classic bowling alley. Each lane and chairs were cleaned as patrons left. Very reasonable prices. Will return!
AWSOME PLACE TO BWL ...ALWAYS A GOOD TIME.
I havent been there in a while it was nice and I had fun
125% great place to go if youre not looking for all the glitz and glamour it is a place where its reasonable price not like Wallington Lanes or any of the other ones without modern update I mean, on some of these places the prices are outrageous. But this place is $20 for two people and then they have options where you could Bowl all night for a certain price. Great place to go and unwind give it a shot you wont be disappointed. Plenty of parking and establishment. Definitely something you should do to enjoy. Thats just my opinion.Alex was a very nice and very helpful thank you Alex I appreciate it....
Best bowling alley I have been to. Great atmosphere, great food, and helpful staff. Management does a great job with COVID guidelines. My kids had a blast. Recommend trying this place.
Very good lane experience. No calls for service.
Food too expensive. It was good ambiance with fast service.
Nice and clean pleace. Best to have some fun time with family
They social distance the lanes super clean and cheap!
Awesome place for anyone who loves to bowl both casually and competitively!
Best place ever for family’s and also people that are trying to really bowl they are cheap and all staff treat everyone like a family. I bowl there almost everyday and the staff treat me extremely well and always will. Will always be the best bowling alley out there. Not only that they even have the best pro shop as well!
Havent been in a bowling alley in years, especially Lodi Lanes. Well... since then, they renovated and now it looks great. they have both adult and kids bowling. If you want a snack or a drink, both soda or alcohol are available at the bar.
Called a head to see what they’re doing for Covid, was told they distance people between lanes and masks are mandatory with a temp check (which is inaccurate and was told my temp was 94.7 F, not their fault since it’s near impossible to find an accurate thermometer scan like that)Once I went to bowl more people seated right next to is and they didn’t enforce masks. With 10+ more empty lanes there were 4 groups bowling with 1 lane between them, the seats right next to each other so not actually spaced out. I told the people at the desk about people pulling and taking off masks to put them around their chin to talk and stand around, wearing the mask with it under their nose, kids wearing masks to big for their face so it slides off never covering it to begin with. All they did move us farther down without trying to enforce it to the groups. They did have plenty of hands sanitizer stations however.Edit: was able to talk to the owner, who mentionedtalking to employees that customers have to wear masks, and what to do if kids come in with masks that don’t fit like what happened before. Hopefully with that it will be changed for the better, otherwise it would be fine going here
I bowled here when I was a kid in leagues and I still come here once in a while for a game or two nice place to bring your friends.
Very nice bowling center. Well run, clean. Always doing something around building to make for better customer experience. Good food too.
We loved the simplicity- no music, videos or flashing lights. But the staff are cranky- they made teenagers put back balls the staff said were too light and want my 5 year old to take the game more seriously. I think were moving on.
It was fun but full
Love the people and bowling there is fun!
Good
Great place for people looking to bowl. Go here for bowling and go to bowlero to impress your friends by taking them to the worlds most expensive bowling alley.
I loved in Lodi for 31 years! This place knows new by my first name! Great food! Great atmosphere and most of all. The staff is excellent!!!
Well maintained. Modern scoring machines. Friendly service. Family friendly. Ample parking.
Very affordable, clean and up to date facility. Much better deal and experience than chain alleys such as Bowlero. Helpful, kind employees to boot.
Very clean and bright. Smelled ok too (not like a sweaty sock). The staff was very courteous and helpful. My kids had a great time. I would go back again, but with an adult group and avail ourselves of the well stocked bar.
Great place overall. Good amount of lanes and the food counter is also good and has pretty decent options. I reduced two stars because the front desk lady is probably the rudest person and I hope she learns how to behave.
It was my first time coming to this bowling alley and they made us wait more than a hour and it was really crowded inside.
Small place so it gets crowded easily!! Be prepared to wait!! Prices are reasonable if you live in the area.
We usually go on a Sunday afternoon, so it isnt very crowded. Its a nice family atmosphere, clean and with decent lanes. Prices are a little higher than other lanes in the area, and I dont recall ever seeing any discount coupons for this bowling alley. You can buy light snacks there, and there is a bar where alcohol is served. Staff doesnt smile much in general, but theyre helpful enough.
Great well kept bowling center. Rarely any machine issues. The place could use updates to be more modern but nothing thats detrimental to the experience. Proshop on site has knowledgeable staff as well.
Great prices, classic bowling/bar at its best.... Its not a super modern alley, yet I think thats what makes it so great... Friendly people/staff... Non commercializes style bowling.... Highly recommend....
Great bowling center. The owner mike is a great guy. Rick in the pro shop is phenomenal and if you are looking to practice on oil this is the spot.
Very Nice Atmosphere, Nice staff. Alex is always nice to us when we visit there. Takes great care. Overall Nice experience.
Bowling lanes are nice and modern. The food is very tasty considering. My only hangups was the music, they should alternate between styles.
I tried to come here to have a good time with fam but the STAFF is so rude. Why spend money here when you have to deal with ignorant people that don’t like to do there job and have no customer service!!!
Good,to much rush
It was fun, went to see my friend play.. saw some great blowers. And the food was decent lots of fun..
Sadly, this place has let me down many times before and today was the last straw. I run a Sunday respite program for young adults with special needs and Ive had numerous issues with trying to get 1 (yes, only 1) lane on a Sunday. One time I asked if they had any available lanes and they said no because of some league or tournament. I decided to go see it for myself to see if all the lanes were occupied that Sunday and there were over 10 empty lanes. I even asked if I could bowl on 1 lane and they said yes. Today, I brought the group there after calling and speaking to someone 4 days ago who reassured me I would be able to use 1 lane in the afternoon. I even asked, Are you sure? I know you guys get busy with leagues and tournaments. The worker said, Yes, you can come in any time. I explained I called to see if I could reserve a lane and they said they dont reserve lanes. So, I show up there today and theres a sign on the door that says No Public Lanes until 5pm Due to Tournament. I went in and asked why they didnt tell me this on the phone when I specifically asked if they would be busy. They apologized and could not make any arrangements for 1 single lane. I had to call all the parents and make alternate plans last minute which was a huge inconvenience. What stinks the most is that they are super affordable compared to the big name bowling alleys, the staff are friendly, and its in an neutral location for all the parents, but there is definitely a severe lack in communication amongst the staff and workers. I know Im only one customer, but Im bringing my group elsewhere.
Great lanes however lanes are either too dry or to oily at times... but hey service is always good...
This bowling alley is friendly, fun and accommodating. Besides for two separate areas of lanes, there is a bar and karaoke. I gave it four stars because they dont have so many bowling balls. It was full when I was there but there were only 2-3 balls that were still available.
I’ve been bowling for over 10 years. Great alley with food people and competition. Rick in the pro shop is helpful as well. They have more tournaments than most alleys.
The environment was okay. Music wasnt too loud. It wasnt over crowded. Food was okay. The staff could be much friendlier and/or happier.
Im no bowler, but when the family wants to go bowling, we collectively have a relatively short list of what we look for in a bowling alley: low prices, no wait, not too crowded, decent food, and adult beverages. All of the above makes this our go-to spot. The people who work there are friendly and polite, the place is clean.... Is it fancy schmancy? Nope. But who cares??? Certainly not us.
I go here every weekend with my friends and it never disappoints
Great experience for bowling! Workers are nice, prices are great, food is good, and the vibe is always fun! Atmosphere is great out of all the times Ive been there. They offer special coupon promotions on their website or in the local newspaper.
Nice lanes and friendly staff, but food prices are a bit high if youre planning on going here casually. Overall a great place though
The house has 2 sides and a bar in the middle with a lot of hook on the lanes
My niece had her birthday party here, the women attending the group were rude & dismissive. Horrible customer service, first time here & will not be returning will take my business to Wallington Lanes. I love supporting small family owned businesses but not if we are treated like trash.
Have to say havent been to the bowling alley for years today was my first time many years and have to say the improvements, staff are wonderful. The manager has really turned the bowling alley around 360 . Have to say Lodi Lanes puts Fairlawn lanes to shame. Keep up the great work. God bless.
Bowled there early this Saturday morning, 04/27/19, for the NJ state tournament. The alley itself was not bad. There were only two things that could possibly be looked into as far as the building itself goes. The mens room was definitely a bit small for that size alley compared to the volume of people there at one time, especially for when hosting tournaments. LolSecondly, the parking lot had pretty much the same issue. Parking spots and entering and exiting the lot could definitely use a looking into. Even if for potential surrounding properties to use for overflow parking could be a possibility. However, other than that I think the facility over all wasnt bad. Now as far as how the tournament itself was ran in reference to oiling the lanes in between singles and doubles and team team sets definitely needs to be looked into. Bowling a state tournament on pretty much a burned out pattern right after s/d WITHOUT reoiling for 10 people to a pair was a bit brutal.
Friendly service. Good prices per game. I find v their oil pattern challenging.
Overall, my 2 visits to Lodi Lanes for the NJUSBC Tournament 2019, was adequate and clean. Food was good, although filling my soda cup with ice, to the brim, than filling the soda in so it’s less soda used, that’s cheap to me. Lanes were clean, even though the bowling was off, though I think that’s more of a complaint for the NJUSBC.
Big place. Excellent bowling facilities.
It was a terrible experience I tried to take my grandkids there for a fun afternoon and the man behind the desk was rude condescending the whole time he sat there while they were bowling in the beginning just looking for trouble for some reason he made my afternoon with my grandkids miserable. We will never return and I will tell everyone the same. I also highly recommend places on a regular basis I’m just not that person and just complains
I tried to take my three kids bowling here a few weeks ago.... it was a Sunday morning. They said they were having a tournament and we couldn’t play for a few hours. I asked if we could use one of the unoccupied lanes, we were still told no. What a disappointment. No choice but to give 1-star.*Make sure you call here before going*We ended up going to Bowler City in Hackensack and played there. I recommend you try this instead.I really don’t know why they would have a tournament on Sunday morning... a time when families are most likely to take their kids bowling because everything else is closed in Bergen County. Obviously not a family oriented establishment.
Very friendly atmosphere full bar and snack bar reasonable prices. They also have cosmic bowling with a dj and karaoke on sat nites at 9pm.
Its a big bowling place. Good price. Wish the bowling balls were more smoother.
Great for the family and date night. Great prices as well.
A unique set up with 20 Lanes on each side of the building and food, bar and service desk in the center. Low prices and great bowling.
Nice bowling alley with food counter, bar and nice attendants at the front desk
I came in just to kill some time and bowl (Im terrible) and the people were nice. Interesting group of league level bowlers and average joes. Prices were cheap (think I bowled 11 games over 2 hours for 30 bucks on a weekday afternoon). Service is a little slow but I think it has to do more with headcount than service quality. Didnt try the food.
Every nice bowling alley. the staff is kind to there customers. prices are great to play many games of bowling
Cool bowling alley nice bar friendly staff
My son and his Church friends went today to celebrate his birthday. Worker who could have been the manager was beyond rude, hostile, and cursing out the kids .... I am outraged and will never let my children go there again.
A recent upgrade makes this place more enjoyable. Went on a Saturday evening and bowled while Karaoke w the s going on.
We always have s great time. Nice place!! 🤗
Excellent service by Brianne! Too bad absolutely no one learned lane etiquette. Otherwise had a good time.
Absolutely dismal experience. This place is a dump! I wonder how long before this place closes? Dont waste your time or money. Head to Fair Lawn Lanes or Wallington instead. Theyre much cleaner.
If I could give zero stars, I would. The lady who works in the front is the rudest woman ever. Apparently, she is also the manager. She is rude and a racist. She couldnt even look me in the eye when talking to me because she knows shes a racist. It is fitting for her to manage a bowling alley because she looks like a bowling ball. Place was also a dump .
Very good, well known local spot. Very short wait for a lane on a busy night.
This place does not like black people at their establishment. I attended there last night along with my family we felt as though we walked into a KKK meeting. All eyes were on us making us feel very uncomfortable. The front desk staff wouldn’t even acknowledge us nor look at us when we were inquiring about a lane. Very weird. BLACK people please stay away. It’s not safe here.
The best place ever!!! I ALWAYS have such a fabulous time!!!!
Nice bowling alley. Clean and well maintained.
5 stars when youre in 1st and you bowl the lowest avg in the league 😂😂😂
Very pleasantly surprised by the place. Had come a long way in 14 years
Great house. Prices are reasonable, the lanes are in good condition and they have good oil patterns.
We often visit with intellectually disabled adults for a fun morning of bowling. Staff is welcoming, helpful.
Im on a league here so there are some discount prices available to me. It doesnt have the bells and whistles of some other alleys but its fine for going to bowl and the snack bar os decent.
WORST PRO SHOP EVER! I went there three times today during its open hours. Twice it was closed because he wasnt there, third time he was bowling. Dont waste your gas going here. If you have to order your stuff online and if its not what you want let the mailman take it back.
Calmer and smaller than Bowler City, Lodi Lanes is a good spot to grab a game. Could use some freshening up, plus a better ball selection.
Fun time. Reasonable prices.
