I love this local shop. Very cool atmosphere. Very organized and clean. New release comic books are displayed nicely along the main wall... Back issue comics are towards the back of the store.. Various games are also sold through out the store including Pokemon, Magic, etc. Trades and manga could be found near the back issue section as well. Everything is well-priced. I love that this store stocks up on comic book supplies such as cool design short boxes, boards and bags, other accessories... all at very reasonable prices.

If you live within an hour of Lodi this is the shop. Owner is a super nice guy, shop is clean and organized and they stock a huge variety of products at reasonable prices. Honestly couldn’t ask for more in an LGS.

The owner is the nicest guy around and very knowledgeable. it’s a great shop for comics, cards, and tabletop. Always able to order what I want and even lets me know when things I like come out that I didn’t know of, for example anytime Booster Gold makes an appearance in anything. I moved out of state, and I still won’t go anywhere else for my comics, Warhammer Minis, and D&D stuff.

Best store to buy TCGs, table top rpg, and general nerd stuff. Mike is THE best!

Seriously Great place to play rpg BOARDGAMES, D&D and Card games like Magic! Did I mention Tournaments? Yeah, there is tournaments, often with prizes! Great selection of current and past issue COMIC BOOKS. If you cant find it, they will hunt it down and order it! They carry a good amount of POP VINYL figures and some others as well. Also a great rescource for paint and supplies for those who paint their own miniatures for rpg games and models. OH! they sell METROPOLIS, ART MONSTER and DARK KNIGHT COFFEE by the pound, wholebean and ground. Place is awesome! One building west of Taco Bell on Lodi Ave.

Havent stopped by in a while, but the Launchpad is as good as ever! Love the wide range of manga they carry now, many volumes they carried were ones that are extremely hard to find (I.e. Junji Itos Tomie. There really is something for everyone here.

Mike at Launchpad has the best selection around!! And he goes above and beyond to get what you need super fast.

I love this store. I go there for Magic the Gathering products. Mike always has a good selection of accessories for tcgs. And while I dont play table top games, it seems like hes got a good selection of things like miniatures, paints and accessories for table top gaming as well..What impresses me most is that the prices of his sealed Magic products are so competitive. You can get a booster box, packs and other sealed products for pretty cheap.The only downside I would say is Mike doesnt deal in singles. If you are looking to buy single MTG, YGO, or Pokémon cards youll have to go somewhere else. As for everything else, Mike either has it, or he can get it.When we can get back to playing in stores. His store is fun to play at as well; great crowd, clean bathroom, the new store arrangement is excellent to. If you are into physical gaming like trading cards, table top or board games, Launchpad is a great place to shop at!

Amazing place and the owner is always helpful and courteous. Owner has gone out of his way to help me when I was getting into new hobbies, taking the time to explain how things work and also going as far as giving me some free stuff to help me get started. Cant beat that kind of hospitality.

Great Place for Booster packs of MTG one of the cheapest place to buy packs at $2.99 a pack! Great deals. Only issue wish the store carried singles as well.

I grew up around Comic Grapevine for a bit and heard this place opened up a block or so away, at the time it was small in terms of selection and I don’t believe it even had TCG at the time.I then stopped playing for about 10 years and I did hear this place open up next to Taco Bell, they have a great location by the way. And well I went in their last month and they had a good selection. With a variety of things. The owner which I’m assuming is the gentleman in the front was nice. (He could be a murderer, but I wouldn’t know because of how nice he is). Anyways I get my Pokémon cards there, and I plan to do it here because he can order when needed. 5/5 for sure.

The dude who runs the place pretty much knows about everything he sells, which is particularly useful when looking for new boardgames. The establishment hosts several games if you like social gaming or just need a spot cuz your friends are lame and always doing things like work and school, but I digress. If you like comics, board games, card games, and tabletop RPGs, then this should be one of youre regular stops.

When they first moved to Lodi after they flopped in Stockton they rented the location of the former adult video store as their new store.Why? Because it was right next to Lodi Grapevine. They needed to steal customers. They tried the same thing with Als comics in Stockton but failed.Their Lodi location is small and cramped. Somewhat decent selection of comics but limited gaming supplies. Staff is polite enough until you ask them about other shops in the area (Stockton, Manteca, and even Sacramento).Thats when they go into their sales pitch about how theyre the best and the other shops are run by retards.

Its a decent place, people are friendly but I would like more bargain prices.

The gentlemen I met up front was a pretty nice guy as far as my visit went, sadly a small variety of card games, which is why I traveled out that day, however it had the staple magic the gathering,yugioh, and some vanguard, dragonball tcg, nice to see weiss schwartz there to, it actually made my week. comics were a major portion of the shop and hidden away was table space to use, honestly a small amount but the building is relatively small so I feel he did good with that. If you wanna give it a shot and look Id say go for it, you never know what you might find.

Was very satisfied with their comic book selection. Was pleasantly surprised that they also carried strategy card/board games, with a better selection than something like Barnes and Nobles.
