Was an amazing experience with 1877 Scuba. There are very safe and are masters of their craft. Never in any of our pool sessions or 4 lake dives did I feel unprepared or unsafe. Amazing staff that will personally tailor to your needs and concerns. What attracted me to 1877 Scuba was their very reasonable pricing, but dont be fooled, their semi-private classes are top notch.

My fiancée and I got scuba certified with 1877 SCUBA. Our experience was great, Andre and Gabby were very knowledgable and professional. Safety was a priority throughout the course. On 1 skill, the mask removal under water I struggled and the team made sure I was comfortable with the skill before advancing to open water course. Very comfortable with scuba diving, learning and information is ongoing. Looking forward to doing Nitrox training with 1877 SCUBA. Would definitely recommend.

I got my Open Water certification here. Great team and amazing instructors. Lessons are taught in small groups, flexible schedules, and easy communication. Highly recommend this place for whoever is look for beginner scuba experience as well as advanced courses.

We had such a great time with Andre and Gabby (and everyone else that was involved with each of our classes) ! Every class was packed with information that was easy to grasp and our instructors were there to watch and correct any mistakes to make sure we are ready to dive safely. My wife and I took the open water dive course and had a wonderful experience. The team led by Andre, Gabi, and Angel did an amazing job all throughout. The course develops your confidence under water to allow you to enjoy diving. My husband and I got certified during the pandemic in hopes of being able to dive on our honeymoon, something I was not sure was possible. Our honeymoon didnt pan out due to travel restrictions, but we did get SCUBA certified, and we couldnt have felt safer doing it. With social distancing, reduced class size, and extra procedures and attention when it came to disinfecting, we felt very comfortable attending. Our course director was professional and accessible if we had any questions or concerns throughout the process. The instructor we did most of our hands on work with, Andre, was the best. We were so lucky to have him. He was an easy-going laid back person, but we could tell immediately how knowledgeable he was in his field, and we were lucky he shared some of that knowledge and experience with us. As easy-going as he was, he was able to convey the inherent risk involved in the activity to us and the rest of our class, and make sure we understood what we needed to stay safe under the water. We had so much fun working with him, we learned so much, and felt so safe the entire time. It was definitely worth every penny the class cost, which was might I add very reasonable. It was an amazing experience and I would recommend it highly to anyone interested.

Andre was very helpful as well as his helpers, we learned about scuba diving and we ended up getting certified at dutch springs which was a great experience.

Phil and the team helped me realize a long time goal of getting SCUBA certified. They were patient, encouraging and professional. They gave me the knowledge and confidence I needed to pass the course and get comfortable swimming and breathing underwater. I highly recommend this team for any aquatic endeavors.

We certified with this shop a few years ago and recently took a refresher course for an upcoming dive. The instructors are thorough, patient, and attentive and always looking out for our safety. Highly recommend !

I lost something more then valuable in a 14ft pool at a resort far from where I live and had to go home the next day. I called down the phone book down google all the fire departments, basically anyone who might be able to help me. I prayed but I lost hope after many people tried to but it wasnt easy. The resort gave me Phils number, I called and very quickly Phil gave me hope again. he assured me not to worry, that everything was going to be okay.Andre came that day and right away I knew there was a chance. Within 7 minutes I saw him swimming towards me with what I have been looking for in his hand. I sincerely thank all of you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you.

I had a great experience getting my diver’s certificate through 1877scubaUSA. The instructors really make you feel at ease and their primary focus is your safety so that helped to calm any nerves about this “extreme sport”. They were strict, but friendly and personable, and flexible with the scheduling in case of last-minute work travel/other priorities prevent you from completing the courses in the allotted time. They’re really keen on imparting their passion and safety for diving. I walked into my class not knowing who to meet/what to expect and walked away with friends, a new community of divers and my diver’s certificate . Thanks 1877scubausa, I really recommend this to anyone who wants to get their license but is a little nervous. 1877scubausa will put you at ease and make it a really great experience!

Excellent instruction

I went on an explore dive in Curacao in May 2021 & came back wanting to get certified. 1877SCUBAUSA was the perfect place to do that, even though I live in Brooklyn. They have a super reasonable price & their class sizes are small. Instructors are excellent at watching you & being able to point out things in need of correction. Certification wknd at Dutch Springs was a fun time. HIGHLY recommend!
