They only work on yamaha motors for boats so dont waste your time calling if you dont have one.

Had a great experience buying from Rich. He was very polite, professional, and thorough with his explanation of how to use and maintain the outboard motor I bought from them. This is my first outboard motor (2.5 HP Yamaha) as Im upgrading from a 40lb electric trolling motor for my inflatable boat but whenever Im ready to move on to bigger and better (aka whenever I can afford it) Ill definitely be buying from them again.

I have found Wright Motors Marine following a web search to purchase a motor in Sacramento area.Out of the 4 dealers I called after sifting through reviews, they were the only ones to actually pick-up the phone.I had a lot of questions about the Yamaha outboard motor and Richard answered all my concerns, gave me a price much better than expected and said my motor could be picked-up same afternoon.At 4.30 PM motor was ready,checked and run/broken-in for 3 hours(Richard made sure all was well).No additional charges for oil,fuel and labor.Then, before allowing me to pay, Richard spent 45 min. to introduce me to the outboard(my first one!),explaining thoroughly all controls,adjustments and maintenance procedures.He also cautioned me on handling to avoid any danger.Richards grandfather started this business many years ago, his father continued(I actually spoke with him on the phone and met him in the shop, now Richard is the third generation!!!). In this time and age we do not get this kind of customer service: patient, respectful and professional.I live in Sacramento and I drove to Lodi and feel it was not only worth it but exceeded my expectations.
