I give them 0 stars. Their customer service is a joke. I have called, emailed, and searched their whole website trying to get some more doors from them for our basement since our builder used them. I finally went in to be told they can’t help me because I didn’t have the measurements of my door frames. Something I wish they would have told me I needed when I contacted them before. I drive 40 minutes home and back with measurements to be told that they can’t help me because they are too busy. I will not recommend them to anyone nor will I give them my business.

Was a fan for a while and recently the customer service and professionalism has gone down hill. We received a quote for a deck we are building had to explain to them why their quote was wrong. They didn’t put one piece of pressure treated lumber on it for a deck! They fixed the quote. We gave them a list of what we needed and told them the size. They ordered everything for it based on the number of support posts and size. We have twice as many post supports as needed. We told them our deck was 440sqft and they sold us trex for a 200sqft deck. Not one apology or any sign they were going to try and make it right. They said it was our fault for not checking their math. So our quote went from $9500 to almost $14,000. Not planning to come back.

We have used Burton for the building of both of our houses. The first house 15 years ago was great, different sales/office staff though. This latest one was a terrible experience and we won’t use them again! We got 3 deliveries we had to send back because the lumber was COVERED IN MOLD!!! Fuzzy mold, on the surface, even on pressure treated lumber! Not just dark specks inside the wood grain. We rejected 3 loads, and they said they would just turn around and sell it to a builder who wasn’t so picky! Call me picky but I won’t put moldy wood into my house, that’s just asking for trouble! If you choose to use them, Triple check your takeoff!!! They missed including lumber, doors, and the trim for finishing our basement even though it was in writing multiple times requesting it be included for the loan. It Totally screwed us over! Heidi was unpleasant to work with, she never smiled, was super cranky and acted annoyed every time we went in to pick something up. She had the same demeanor with every customer she talked to while we were there as well, so it wasn’t just us. Rick will flat out lie to you. He’s a salesman. He will say what he needs to get the sale and then turn around and deny he ever said it. He did it to us twice. I will take my business elsewhere even if I have to pay a little more next time. On a side note, get a quote from Sierra Truss for your trusses!! They were awesome to work with, did a great job and they saved us $8,000 over Burtons truss quote! Home Depot will match or beat any Burton lumber prices as well. You can do better!

Im not impressed with customer service or customer friendliness. I seriously get along with just about everyone but Ive never been talked down to or condescend to as I have with the people at the customer desk at Burton Lumber. If youre a regular citizen forget about this place. They have more important things to do.

I have done business with Burton Lumber for 15 years. They have been very fair and their materials are better quality and more effectively priced than the box stores. Their product knowledge and ability to customize is much better than you will ever get from the college kid working part time at the box store. I’ll continue to use these guys again and again. Dale and Jordan definitely know their stuff.

I needed a custom size set of French doors for a walkout basement. Working with Heidi was a breeze, and more importantly - the door fit perfectly. Fantastic experience all around.

Ive order doors, lumber and windows from Burton. Every person I have dealt with there has been very knowledgeable and friendly. Ive only had 1 or 2 hiccups in my orders and they resolved in a timely manner given they were special order materials. From sales team to yard crew I have been very satisfied.

The Burton Lumber Logan store staff are all GREAT! They do whatever they need to to make sure myself and my customers are taken care of. I’ve been with Burton Lumber for 17 years. The very Few issues I’ve had in all that time is been taken care of and made right no questions asked

Ive done business with Burtons for over 14 years. Ive always had fantastic service and been treated with a smile. Nobodys perfect, but its how things are handled if there ever is a mistake that makes or breaks a relationship. If Ive ever had an issue, its always been resolved quickly and efficiently. Extremely poor service and a very unforgiving return policy. Would never buy from these folks again.

I would give no stars if I had the option. I ordered about $1000 worth, on a trial basis, for a barn. All large dimension lumber for beams, rafters, etc. Half of it was split and splintered (which of course is tough to see in the bundle). After breaking the bundle I seen boards split 1, 2, 4 up the center. I called and they did offer return (on my nickel of course) so we agreed they could pick it up to exchange on my next delivery in 6-8 weeks. That delivery came, they picked up the junk, and I called a week later for another order and asked how much was credited... Only to be informed that the lumber was so unusable they couldnt give credit and want me to pick it back up. Well, thats how it was delivered. Its been covered since delivery. I waited 2 months for their truss guy to call back. They dropped my TJIs 10 on the last delivery. So my advice if you use this company is to break the bundle BEFORE they leave and send it back for prompt credit back. I specified my expectations before they agreed to supply and they havent come remotely close to meeting a single one.

To bad I cant give them no stars.They delivered way more lumber than we needed for framing, wouldnt pick it up unless we paid, then charged us for restocking.They lost some of our windows and took them weeks to reorder.They said that siding would deliver one day and it arrived a week and a half later.The Front door was the wrong style.Interior doors were also promised one day and delivered a week later.All along they would never call to let me know what was going on, I would have to constantly check in to validate things were going good, and they never were.

The guy that took my order for doors was super friendly. I think his name was Jordan. I understand that things happen. We ended up with one of the ten doors we ordered wrong, at 29 instead on 36. It was not a big deal to have one fixed for me. It was just the way We were treated when we called to have it fixed. They were quit rude. We were told it would be done the next day. We stopped and was again treated quite rudely by the lady at the front (which was not the first time from her). No one seemed to know anything about it. I was told it would be done before five. Called before 5 to see if it was done... again no one seemed to know anything about it. Cam who we delt with the most with the doors was super unfriendly. We ended up just taking the doors to SunRoc to get finished up.
