I just want to say that when I read a review from a customer that they were told to leave because they were not wearing a mask, I changed my mind immediately about bringing my business here. I will not support those that presume to have authority over our God given rights and try to punish us when we exercise them or disagree. It is unconstitutional and wrong. This is America and I would like to assume that because we all live here that freedom is one of the most sacred things to all of us. Sadly I guess its not.

Love the positive energy and fantastic service here. The small corner market with personalized service beats that other chain with stores right across the street from each other every day of the week.

First time coming here and loved the variety of items there is! The slushies were so good! The Cashier was awesome!! and super friendly! 🤙Will definitely be coming back! I’m Glad the employees here wear a mask! So Thank you for that ❤️🙏 . Covid is no joke & nothing to play with!

Fun store with everything you need for a quick stop.

I love supporting small business however, not when theyre unwilling to care for their supporters. If Im able to afford the higher prices and support a local business I will, but not when theyre on a power trip making their customers feel less than human. Island market is in a great location, perfectly surrounded by homes making it an easy pick for those who are unwilling or cant go anywhere further. I went in to Island Market to buy eggs with my daughter and was immediately cast out because neither of us had a mask covering our faces. I pleaded with the employee at the front of the desk stating I just need some eggs and Ill be right out, I wont linger. Can I please just get some eggs? The strictness and audacity of these workers who are unwilling to work with the public in order to gain some extra business and loyalty is astounding. It honestly feels like theyre on a power trip and enjoy belittling humans if they come either unprepared or unable to afford one of their dollar surgical masks. These are reasons small businesses die. I will not be returning.

They are so friendly here! I like the mix of local stuff as well as pantry staples. I come here for some of the specialty products they sell from local businesses. Its a unique gem in the area.

Its an Icon. Been going there for decades. Their grocery prices beat the big chains on some items. Great prices on produce too. Id much rather shop local. Kind, fun people work there, always a happy place!

I really enjoy the island market. They dont make things super pricey, like you think they might. They have basics that you could need, so you dont have to go to a big store. The workers are always friendly. I wish every store was more like the island market.

I Have lived very close to the island market for about 5 years I love the store and how cute and small it is. It is a far way to walk but I Love this store.

I just love this neighborhood market! The have all the basics that I need. Everyone that works there is super friendly and very helpful. They have great produce and the coldest beer cooler in Cache Valley! Oh, and how could I forget... Penny candy! When was the last time you saw that?!?

This is a great little shop with a surprising variety of essentials which is nice when you dont want to go out into Logan traffic. The store is really quaint and clean and a little expensive, but not as expensive as you would expect from a convenience store

THIS IS MY FAVORITE STORE IN THE ENTIRE WORLD! I grew up going here every day buying baseball cards and candy bars. Have always loved the management and staff. The old owners were great and the new owners are very innovative and amazing as well!

The prices reflect a small business. The convenience is definitely worth it.Fantastic selection. I cant remember looking for much of anything that they didnt have in the two years that I lived within walking distance.Good hot coffee.Summer salsa is worth every penny!

Island market has a super friendly staff and items that are not marked up like many neighborhood markets are. They are open on Sunday. If you live on the Island, then this is the go to place when you need to pick up a few items. Fresh donuts and coffee every morning (usually after 7am). Outside seating during the warm season. This is a gem on the Island.

This place is so hip. I wish there were more places like it, but thats what makes this place unique. They have great beer, kombucha, cocktail mixers, and a variety of unique snacks.

Updating this review for COVID times and adding a star. The Island Market has taken the pandemic and mask wearing seriously since day one and it is greatly appreciated. I feel much better running in here to pick up something then going to the grocery store.Who doesnt love the Island Market. Theyve got the essentials and theyre on the way home from work.

I grew up going to the Island Market all the time. Its undergone heavy renovations, and is spectacular, offering small-town market items, as well as local options.

Little pricey but good

New owners....double the price. Yes, as expected the prices are higher because it is a convenience store, however...you dont expect to pay Double. I shop here on my way home or if I forgot something it is about 5 blocks closer than Smiths, however one (1) small can of dogfood was exactly the same price as one (1) large can at the grocery store, which equals out to be double. IMHO that spells…RipOff and the off-brand was only 4 cents less. Realistically, the previous owners did have a reasonable increase, they also had large cans for only about 50 cents higher than Smiths, new owners have no large cans. For what I paid for 2 small cans of dogfood I could have bought 4 similar cans at Smiths or 2 large cans. Cant afford to check out their other prices.I am just going to have to drive on by next time, go 5 more blocks and spend 20 cents on gas to get over to Smiths. Not worth stopping at Island Market, Especially when you leave feeling ripped off, that feeling alone is enough reason not to shop there.
