Negligent! My door has been sticking for years. I called these guys to finally get it fixed. The 1st tech couldnt find anything wrong with it. My wife even told him that it sounds like its sticking. He says no its not. So he changed out all the rollers and tightened the springs and charged me $250.00.Well the next day I am leaving to work and the door is worse. I call them back and they send me another tech. He cant find anything either and tightens the springs again.So my wife comes home and tries to open the door and of course the spring broke because its been over tightened. Luckily her car was outside.Well of course theyre not going to own the spring and they said I would be getting charged for another service call and new springs if they came back.So I called someone else to replace the springs and he saw where it was sticking in about 5 minutes.I called and talked to a manager about the 2 techs not being able to figure it out and he blamed my wife for signing off on the repair.Laughable service! Be careful with these guys. Theyll break your door in order to make more work for themselves!

Inquired for an estimate and had a tech out less than 2 days later to check out my situation. Reasonable estimate that included a new drive motor. I asked for some time to mull it over and later decided for it. Spencer was back over the same day to replace everything except the door itself. Very pleased with the response, service, and attitude of both Amy and Spencer throughout the process.

Torsion spring snapped. Emailed a message to Advanced Door after-hours. Received a phone call first thing in the morning from Amy. She connected me with Spencer, one of their technicians. He arrived at our home in less than an hour with everything he would need, and then some, to complete the job. After inspecting our garage door and hardware, he clearly communicated what needed to be done and gave us some additional recommendations. Within an hour, the job was done and the garage door is working great. Would definitely recommend.

Mike Hansen came to our rescue after hours, knowing his next day was busy. He quickly accessed and made adjustments to square and balance the door. Replaced noisy rollers with quieter good quality rollers. Mike replaced the door switch and quickly programmed it. Cleaned up and left with a smile. We had issues with the switch and controller activating on its own, very disconcerting. Mike returned the next day (between travel to other jobs) and replaced cables that were frayed. The system continued to think on its own... don’t use LED lights in door system. I switched the “MyQ” for a wireless door switch, that’s not so smart. Happy with Mike’s service, thanks.

My garage door remote control stopped working. I couldnt figure out the model I needed, but when I called Advanced they said they would check to see if a technician had a Universal one on his truck. I was very surprised and pleased when Mike Hansen came to my house to deliver it and program it for me. While here, he also lubricated the moving parts. This was amazing, unexpected service. Started calling about garage door services and none of them would service this far north. Finally, a friend told me about Advanced Door. I have to give them ONE STAR, because I cant give them ZERO STARS (which is what they deserve). I called at 8:00 am to have my garage door serviced. Royce said he could get a guy out in the afternoon and the service man would call to set up a time. I explained that I had to leave at 4:00 pm. No problem he said. At noon, I called and spoke with Paul to tell him that the service man had not called me for a time. He said .... and I quote, Ill have him call you immediately. He never did! I called at 3:15 pm and spoke with Paul again to tell him not to bother. Funny how when you call their number, the voice comes on to tell you that the call is being recorded for QUALITY PURPOSES ... what a joke, there is NO QUALITY. How do these guys stay in business with service like this? Good luck - Ill find someone else that actually wants to work.

Remarkable experience - from the estimate to the ordering to installation, the entire process was seamless. The written estimate was detailed and clear. Excellent follow through by everyone. The installer called with the time he would be there and was prompt. Very professional team. With the life time warranty, quality of parts and excellent service I was unable find another bid that was comparable.

I arrived home one evening to learn that the garage door wouldnt open - it kept going up a few inches, then closed immediately...over and over again. After doing a bit of research online I learned that one of the torque springs had broken. I spent a bit of time researching the job and ultimately decided I didnt want to tackle it myself, so I started looking for a local company to do the replacement job for me. I had no recommendations from anyone, so I started reviewing websites. I visited a few before landing on Advanced Doors website. While the website was well done, it didnt make me suspect that Id be paying for their marketing, so I continued reading the reviews. I knew Id be starting the next day early and would not be able to contact them myself, so I gave my wife the number and asked her to take on the project. She called at 8:00 AM and they had a guy out in a few hours. The service team did have to make a custom spring for our garage door, so they did have to come back, but it was not much later the same day before they were back to finish the job. Before I was home from work the job was done. I did not price compare with other companies, but the repair job seemed consistent with what I would expect based on time spent and cost of parts. The service team was polite and professional. I would use them again for another job.
