Possibly the best and freshest tasting ice cream you will ever have! I remember going here as a kid in the 1960s and my memory didnt fail me. Took my wife and daughter here today after a hike in Logan canyon and the ice cream is fantastic.
They have rich, creamy, and delicious ice cream. The soda bar is also a nice treat. Would recommend to anyone who likes ice cream!
We had very high hopes and expectation for this place as we do all university creameries based on local dairy farming. However, they fell way short of our expectations. We stopped in because we were near by but Id never drive to get ice cream there again. We got Bull tracks, praline pecan and a few other flavors. The bull tracks was supposed to have chunks of caramel and other items in it but in reality, I saw one chocolate chip and it was just bland chocolate ice cream...I cant even remember them because they lacked flavor and any taste at all besides plain vanilla ice cream.I couldnt even finish mine because I felt it was a waste of the sugar and carbs for the day and that was upsetting. Back in CT, we would happily drive 45 minutes to the UCONN state dairy barn because of the variety of flavors and the intense tastes of every single ice cream Ive ever tried there. As we were leaving, the place started filling up and line got really long and I heard a woman tell her child dont worry, its totally worth it. I disagree. Wholeheartedly. If its the only ice cream place in town or you want to support local, go for it. I am glad it was cheap.
If youre a person who actually appreciates good ice cream, this will not be your jam. If youre the kind of person whose only standards for ice cream are that it is sweet and cold, youll probably be okay here. I had the ROTC which was short on O (oreo cookies) and T (toffee pieces) and by short I mean maybe three pieces total. The R (raspberry swirl) was overly sweet and somehow floral-y. I could forgive all of that if the C (chocolate ice cream base) had been excellent but it wasnt. The texture of the ice cream itself was almost soft-serve smooth and the chocolate flavor itself was less than mediocre. I honestly dont understand the popularity of this place except for the fact that maybe young college students with undeveloped palates dont know any better.
I wish they had more varieties with nuts, and I wish they had descriptions on the wall of what the flavors mean (the names arent self explanatory), but the True Aggie Night ice cream is **SO GOOD** that I have to give this place 5 stars, no question. What amazing ice cream!
My wife used to have a tradition of getting ice cream here whenever they visited family in Logan because they said it was the best ice cream anywhere. Well, I went there with my wife yesterday and I have to say, it was absolutely the creamiest and most delicious ice cream I have ever had!!!
The ice cream was amazing! As far as I could tell there were no covid procedures in place. The line was long and moved pretty slow. I feel like a larger location would be more conducive to the amount of people. Overall I would get ice cream from them again but I would check for a less busy time, when the line is not out the door.
Such good ice cream!! The lines arent usually too bad. They have flavors that you cant find anywhere else. A great place to go with kids or just on an outing. Theres a lawn outside that you can sit on and trees for shade. And all around amazing customer service.
Rich, creamy, luxurious ice cream scooped generously for a fraction of the price of major chains. Fast, friendly service from kids who enjoy their work. There is a long bench seat inside abutted by 4 small tables and a few chairs. There is a much larger seating area outside.
Theyve changed a lot of their flavors. And you have to ask to find out what is in all of their special blends. The ice cream is good. Not as impressed as I used to be with their different blends. Bring back more of your previous flavors.
So freaking good! The Space Debris may be my new favorite ice cream!
Ice cream is very smooth and creamy! I ordered the chocolate chip cookie dough and had a piece of cookie dough in every bite! Waffle cone was also very good.
The ice cream and service is great!
Love this place ... best ice cream 🍦 around ... and there cheese is great
Plenty of flavors to choose from. I really enjoy that they make their own flavor combos.Great homemade ice cream.
It was pretty fast. In and out without much of a wait. They have some fantastic ice cream flavors. I got the pecan ice cream and salted caramel, I highly recommend that combination.
I used to think Aggie ice cream was 5 stars but we noticed when we went in yesterday the smallest size is so dinky its not worth the $2 you pay for it plus the 45 min wait we had in line. Kinda sad. The use to be really good ice cream for a good price.
This place has great ice cream. I especially like the True Aggie Night flavor. The single scoop is plenty big for me. Five stars for great service and great ice cream. Go Aggies!
From the greeting as we walked in, to the goodbye as we left; everything was excellent
Delicious and creamy ice cream. The whole family enjoyed theirs.
EXCELLENCE OF THE HIGHEST DEGREE (CANNOT DISABLE CAPSLOCK!!! DO NOT MISTAKE MY PLOY FOR EXCITEMENT!!!)
Its good, but way overrated. Also sometimes has a weird, almost cardboard after taste in the chocolate ice cream I got. Id rather have store bought or cold stone.
Ice cream is ice cream. Boisenberry and lemon custard were good. Always a good stop on the way to or from bearlake
I am an Aggie but the ice cream has seemed to have lost som cream. I tried 4 different flavors. By far my favorite was the Aggie Blue Mint. It is very well don’t and with 5 stars. The Aggie ROTC is not that grand. What do you expect when the Army does something? The cookie dough was solid. As always the staff is very friendly. The serving area was remodeled and looks very nice. Definitely a place too come.
Always so delicious! Staff incredibly friendly. Gets you in and out quickly so you can enjoy your ice cream!
Generous portions, best ice cream around, nostalgic atmosphere true to its origins. Can still buy milk and cheese! Go Aggies!
Fantastic ice cream! A Logan classic that is quality and stands the rest of time. Aggie blue mint is incredible!
Had space debris but like ROTC best!
OMG! Whod a thunk you could get amazing ice cream at a University. And so yummy at that!!!
The ice cream is outstanding. Although its usually very crowded. The workers are friendly.
Delicious! Two scops more enough and very reasonably priced compare to places like Coldstones.
Wonderful rich, creamy ice cream. Generous portions. Pleasant, helpful staff.
If you like ice cream you really need to treat yourself to the Aggie Creamery!
Wonderful price but it was too sweet for me.
Oh man, I have yet to meet anyone who doesn’t like Aggie Ice Cream - there are so many flavors of ice cream and they are all made locally with local cows on local farms. And it shows. Every flavor is amazing, the ice cream doesn’t coat your throat with cream when you eat it (you know the ice cream that does that, it’s the worst), you can have it in a cup or a super tasty house-made cone, and the staff is lovely. It’s so good that I still go there in the winter.
Great ice cream and a must-stop if you visit USU. the ice cream names are pretty unique and somewhat vague though.
Better than BYU creamery. I mean, BYU was good, but USU was better. And the scoop was huge.
Superb creamy ice cream. My favorite + though its difficult to choose) is Lemon Custard.
The ice cream is great but isabelle was very impatient and rude with me as this was my first time in.
Meh. Ive had better.
Yummy. They dont have a non-dairy option even with sherbert.
Best ice cream on the planet! Aggie Blue Mint is still my favorite, but there are a lot of other really great flavors.
Great place to buy 10 qt plastic containers and lids for an incredibly low price.
Amazing and a must stop if you are in Logan near USU!
This is the best ice cream around, and a beautiful nostalgic area to sit around outside enjoying their custom flavors.
Awesome ice cream. Long waits
Im a BYU creamery fanatic myself...but this creamery is something special. 5 stars!
Good icecream, I wish theyd add descriptions of the non descriptive named flavors.
Ice cream is great, but the service is very strange.. went in with my family (we were the only ones in there) and they seriously would not stop staring at us, and I mean it wasn’t rude but just strange. What makes it more strange is that they didn’t even talk to us, just stared dead in our eyes for like 5 minutes, and would NOT break eye contact at all haha, just super weird and made us all uncomfortable.
Some of the best ice-cream anywhere.
The Lemon Velvet Icecream in a pint is wonderful.
A fun place to go with the family!
This is a place that sells ice cream at a reasonable price, and the ice cream is tasty. Of course I gave it five stars. The problem is, my oldest daughter talked me into buying her a brownie sundae with ice cream and whipped topping. Then I foolishly bought myself a scoop of ice cream. Of course, my daughter barely ate much of her massive sundae, so 2,000 calories and a bottle of tums later, I finished off my ice cream and her enormous sundae. Thanks so much Aggie Ice cream people, thanks so much.
Good ice cream! Nice treat after dinner.
Its definitely a staple of the Logan community. I remember coming here where we dropped off my oldest sister off at college over a decade ago, and now here I am, starting my journey at USU with Aggie Ice cream. Its about the feeling of unity that comes with the ice cream. Buying your family night dessert here makes you feel like a part of Logan culture. When youre here, youre home.
Ive always loved Aggie ice cream. Love the atmosphere. Friendly home town service
A good stop for someone going from SLC to Bear lake to grab some natural made ice creams!!
It’s the best ice cream evah! We just picked up a 10 quart pack of our current favorite - orange sherbet…
Very definitely the place to be for ice cream.. Try the Aggie ROTC!
The ice cream is amazing! The service was quick and the people working at the time were very helpful!!
Huckleberry ice cream was awesome!
My kids all loved it! Best ice cream ever!!
Icecream was moist. 10/10
Very busy but worth the wait
Aggie ice cream is some of the best I have had and the Aggie blue mint is my favorite. I do wish that they would offer all the flavors in the shop as half gallons to buy. Flavor is very good but some of the flavors need a little more of the mix in items though. In the shop the peanut butter fudge is very good and my second favorite (no half gallon to buy though). Well worth the stop in Logan for a nice ice cream treat.
The best ice cream if your up in Logan
Aggie mint is always a good choice. Dont pass on the Aggie space debri.
Some of the Best Ice Cream you will ever have....
Excellent food, reasonable prices and friendly service
Quick service and delicious flavors
First time in Logan, always heard there were a lot of cows but apparently they also have amazing ice cream as well
Simply creamy and delicious! Highly recommend!
My family and I have to stop in every time we drive up from Salt Lake. Always worth the drive/wait!
Best in town. Will be back again.
Best ice cream in the state! I love the fresh made waffle cones that they make every morning! Aggie ROTC is my favorite flavor.
Since remodeling a couple years ago the ordering process is more streamline. Covid set precautions make sense and are easy to follow.Try their salted caramel flavor its has little chocolate caramel bits mixed in and is very good.
The BEST ice cream! Aggie Blue mint is my absolute favorite!! They have ice cream for all flavor lovers. They also do food, drinks, shakes and sell cheese as well!
Great ice cream and service was great.
Quick service and good ice cream.
