Rented an outdoor parking spot for our enclosed trailer and after a year or so they decided to raise the rent by 25 to 30 percent. I understand raising prices but I could have gave up the spot and rented another spot for $6 less a month in the same facility. They did drop it $5 per month. We also had just rented 4 other indoor units though maybe we could get a bit better price but no chance. Nice place other than that.

I started storing my Chevelle and motorcycle here in the winter quite a few years ago when it was the original ownership South Cache Storage and had a Great experience with them; I got my 10x20 at $80/month and they never changed my rate on me for the multiple years I was with them. After Extra Space bought it out, my rate was increased not long after to $88 - only $8 (10%) more, nothing crazy, didnt really bother me, no big deal. However, I just received another rent increase notice in the mail, now theyre trying to jack it alll the way up to $149 - almost doubling the rate I had been at. I tried calling the office to see if there was anything they could do to work with me and keep my price at least closer to what I had been at for Years there, hoping since I was a long time renter with them that always made my payments theyd be willing to work with me, but they said there was nothing they could do and that Id have to start paying the $149 now. Ive since sent in my cancellation and will be moving to another newer facility in the valley thats renting their 10x20s for only $90/month.

I rented a unit a month ago, and Ive been very happy with the service. Signing up was quick and easy, and I wasnt hassled to buy anything I didnt need. The unit was clean and feels very secure. The workers are very friendly and helpful; my card accidently declined and they simply re-ran it for me with no problem. I would definitely recommend them, especially if you need a climate controlled unit like I do.

Was locked inside the gates for over an hour due to power outage, outage was not their fault but waiting for someone to come unlock the gates for that long is frustrating

This storage facility is gated, has temperature controlled units available, is only open certain hours of the day, and overall a pretty good experience.We had two units, after finding out that the first one wouldnt fit everything. They gave us the second unit quickly. Unfortunately they gave us the wrong unit. So we had to move everything out of the second unit into a different unit. A bit of a headache but we were able to work it out with the office.The temperature controlled units worked as expected, and they were very proactive about pest control. In the hallways youll see lots of traps, and when we moved our stuff out of storage there wasnt any indication that mice had been in the unit.

My mother has been renting storage here for tue past 5 years. Recently I needed storage for my college student returning for tue summer. There is next to no availability for small units in Cache Valley, but here they were able to help. They are on the pricey side but I enjoy there extra security and the fact that there are people on site you can talk to when you need them (during office hours ofcourse). Access os 24 hours. Definately recommend!!!

Process to reserve and get the unit was very simple. I reserved my unit online and a rep called to finalize the remaining questions and send the lease to review and e-sign. The rep explained all charges for the first bill including the first month at no cost. There were no surprises or hidden fees. I just moved into my unit so I can’t speak to the service after getting my unit or cancelling the unit but if it’s as easy as it was signing up and leasing the unit, I would highly recommend Extra Space!Updating review 11/23/2020 - I have cancelled my membership and moved out. The cancellation process was very simple and easy to do. I cancelled online and called to confirm which it went through online. I then received a call and a text confirming the unit was moved out/cancelled. My only hiccup was having moved out a month ago but since my lock was on the door I couldn’t cancel and had to pay for another month because I couldn’t get to the unit to take the lock off for several weeks. I would have approved them to cut the lock off but that didn’t happen.The day I went to cancel my unit I received a notice that my monthly unit rental was increasing $6 per month. Not a big deal and that’s assuming it’s because it was a month to month rental and they can reevaluate their rental pricing.Overall, it was easy to rent, easy to move out and cancel. Except the whole lock thing and price increase of nearly 10% after only 4 months of renting the unit. It’s difficult times for everyone so it’s understandable but more importantly they are in the business to make money. What business isn’t? It’s stated in the agreement you sign that this can happen. Plus, if I wasn’t in such a rush I could have been more diligent in finding out of leaving the lock on was okay. Again, overall, it was a good experience, the unit was nice and clean, the gate has codes going in and out to track who’s coming and going and security cameras around the property! I would recommend renting a unit there!5 stars out of 5

The service is great and the temperature controlled storage space really makes a difference. Sorting through your stuff is much more pleasant if you arent cold.

South Cache Storage has been great to work with. We are storing an entire houseful of furniture there while our new home is being built. It is great to feel confident everything is safe and secure and in a climate-controlled place, yet we can access what we need during this building process. We checked into some other storage facilities but they stack everything in crates and shrink-wrap it for safe-keeping. You cant touch your stuff again until it is delivered to you at the end of the designated storage period. Thanks for a much better storage alternative, South Cache!

These are well-designed storage units on the south side of Cache Valley. The gates on both sides of the complex make it convenient to get moving trucks and trailers in and out. The units are always spotless and well managed. The climate-controlled units are amazing for items that need extra care.

A good place to get a storage unit. They have a automated kiosk that makes the entire rental process available 24 hours a day 7 days a week. The place is clean and eventhough it isnt far from a major road it doesnt feel like youre going into a heavily populated place where someone is going to watch you while you put your property into a unit.

I have been renting a unit for about 4 months now. I love the variety of size options they offer. But they also keep the facility veey clean and well maintained. I feel as if my belongings are safe and secure. Its well lit if you need to stop by after the sun goes down. I will recommend them to anybody.

I was a customer for 3 years here at first the customer service was great. However the last two years my rent here has gone up enormously. They start you out at a low price but make sure your not there too long or they will dig a hole in your pockets. Also nothing neat about climate control. When I emptied my storage unit last week it was filled with mouse droppings that made my skin crawl. However more, i was told I would be prorated for the rest of the months rent and given back that money. Instead I was just charged another months rent. Since I was a good costumer and had it set up on automatic withdrawal now I am fighting to get it back into my account. Does anyone do their job around there and put info into the computer like their suppose to. Id save yourself the hassle and go somewhere else!

We were impressed at how nice and clean the units are and were especially impressed with the climate-controlled units which will protect our furniture from the cold Cache Valley winter.

We just started using South Cache Storage and so far we havent had any problems, it was super easy to rent a unit. My only complaint would be that if youre paying with cash and you over pay the machine doesnt give you change back so you have to go in when the manager is there and they arent in very often. Maybe give an option to credit the overpayment to your account for the rental of the unit.
