I went into KSM looking to get my guitar restrung. I am blanking on his name, but the luthier walked me though the different brands of strings available, and he was so helpful and insightful. I haven’t even received my guitar back, but I give this place 5 stars because of their knowledge of guitars and how friendly the people were that I spoke to.

They are very helpful and informative. My son is looking into purchasing a guitar and they have been great and letting him trying things and guiding him to something hell like.

The staff here is amazing. Dave is the only person I trust to work on my instruments. They have a really good selection of guitar pedals and amps.

I called in asking how long and when I could get strap locks installed on my guitar. It took them maybe 15 minutes. It was professional, simple, and an overall great experience. Dave was the one who answered my call and told me to come in and for the strap locks. He was fun, made conversation, and did a great job. Definitely going back!

This is a great place to go buy any kind of musical instrument the staff is really nice and they even offer lessons for a lot of different instruments. I personally prefer Rick hes a great teacher and hes teaching me a lot about playing guitar. I love KSM

Been here twice, was greeted immediately and friendly. They answered questions, had a good selection of stringed instruments mostly and some of the band variety. They dont have an attitude about children coming with you which is so refreshing. Also, the prices were reasonable. A little tricky to find off the main street, hopefully soon Ill post some pics to make it easier to find while I am on my photography learning trips.

While it can be cheaper to order parts, strings, etc online, when I have been able I have made a point of coming into KSM because of the superb service provided by their team. I have sold with them via consignment, and as of today purchased three basses and a uke from their store, each of which has been set up well and served me well. KSM has a great percussion, guitar, and ukulele selection. They also sell band and orchestra instruments. I have purchased a quality trumpet at a fair price. They had high quality music stands as well as music books. They also offer lessons beginner to advanced.

KSM has a large inventory of guitars and accessories to cover most guitarists and bassists needs. They have a fair selection of amps as well. Drums, ukuleles, banjos, and other fretted instruments are also stocked. The biggest curated selection of vinyl in the valley is found here. Look for local music on consignment as well. If you need band and orchestra supplies they may have it, but they arent trying to compete in that area.

I know nothing about guitars...I showed up after closing, was welcomed with the friendliest hello and was helped with a smile! Very knowledgeable and so friendly! They helped me pick out a great guitar for my son for Christmas and got it out right there and tuned it up. He also gave me contact info for lessons and filled me in on their School of Rock classes. Definitely a great experience here!

Every question Ive ever brought to the staff has been answered with deep knowledge and understanding of the instrument in question. They tended to my decades-old heirloom mandolin with such care when I brought it in to be re-strung, and even cleaned it up for me! When I bought my keyboard and it didnt fit in my car, the salesman offered to deliver it to my home free of charge. Theyre all extremely kind and patient, and interested in what kind of music youre making. I appreciate this music store so much, and will continue to visit every time I need my instruments serviced.

Went inside to look around for a guitar accessory which they didnt have. The store was pretty busy so I wasnt able to get help from any of the employees, which was kinda annoying but whatever.

Staff is very helpful, knowledgeable, and honest. Weve had great experiences buying new instruments and getting repairs. Smallish store, but good selection of guitars and more. We drive to Logan from out of town to do business here. Highly recommend.

Great Place! Staff are knowledgeable about a variety of musical equipment. They are very nice and make you feel welcomed. I took my guitar to have the nut replaced and have some adjustments made to the neck and bridge to improve the playability and they did an excellent job, at a decent price as well. I go there for all of my strings and accessories, when I have the money to get a new half stack, Im going to get it from them. Best shop in the area for musicians.

Friendly local music store offering a large variety of electric and acoustic guitars. Effects pedals are a bit limited in selection. Fair amount of other stringed instruments, percussion, and keyboards also. They also offer and advertise for local music lessons and coordinate with educational instrument programs.

Bought a guitar here a while back the guy that helped me was really nice to talk to and suggested a really cheap guitar for me since I wanted to learn rather than trying to get me to waste more money on something I actually suck at.. if I was better at playing I would of totally went back to spend more on a nicer one... But I suck but Im not upset on spending too much on a guitar as it didnt hurt my wallet at all.

I have a custom made Laskin guitar which is my pride and joy. I am hesitant to let anyone touch it. It needed to have the action lowered at the saddle and a little truss rod adjustment on the neck. I took it to Dave at KSM. He did an absolutely OUTSTANDING job. The guitar--which has always sounded like a dream--now once again plays like a dream! Thank you Dave and KSM!!

This is a great music shop catering to strummed string instruments - mostly guitars. They sell and repair instruments and offer (or at least facilitate) lessons, too. The staff is super knowledgeable and friendly. Its kind of tucked away, but the locals who are in the know will recommend this place.

Eh.. average music store.. despite what other reviews say, the instrument selection is pretty limited. They have some used gear at good prices. Of the three music stores in town that I know of, this store has the best selection of effects pedals, the most limited selection of guitars, may be the only one dealing in used equipment (Im not positive of that), and is definitely the only.store in town that sell metal guitar picks (they have a few different picks, all aluminum).

The knowledge of musical instruments and gear that the employees have is wonderful. Friendly staff and environment. They encourage all musicians young and old to play, no matter the skill level, as they are true musicians themselves. I feel very comfortable and at home with all of my dealings at KSM!

KSM Music is the best place for ALL of your music needs! Knowledgable staff that are helpful and friendly! Chris Hampton went way out of his way to size and get me the correct mouthpiece on a trumpet I got there. And I always get my guitar strings here, not because theyll put them on for free, but its to support the local small business! And their selection of LPs/records are pretty legit!

KSM is the best music shop in northern Utah! I would not go anywhere else to purchase a musical instrument. The staff at KSM are very helpful and there prices are very reasonable. Give them a call and you will not be disappointed.

Ive been buying music equipment at KSM for years. Although they are small in comparison to Guitar Center, they have everything I am looking for. PA rentals, amps, percussion, picks, pedals, cables... They have it covered at a decent price. Staff is great as well! Chris knows the industry/products very well (as does his staff) They will seek to understand your needs first, and then answer your questions with enthusiasm.

I love that Logan has a great music store right here in town. I have shopped at KSM for close to 15 years and they have not disappointed me a single time. Chris and the rest of the staff provide excellent service and always seem happy to help with whatever you need. I have purchased guitars, cables, pedals, cases, strings, picks, straps, you name it, and I have yet to regret giving them my business. I recently installed KSMs patented Foundation Bridge on my Ibanez SDGR bass and it is totally rad! As long as I live in Logan, I will give KSM my business.

I go to KSM Music to get my guitar strings restrung and after I get my guitar back I immediately notice that they rattle now, so I ask my boy Xander if thats normal and he said give it a month. I did. Still very rattly. So I go in to talk about it with them and this dude is telling me pretty much that I dont know what Im talking about and that he can try to mess with it. Bottom line is they gave me 11 (I think) size strings when my guitar was used to 12 and without informing me that could make my guitar rattle. Wish they wouldve been more sympathetic and fixed it instead of telling me I was scrued thats all. Never going back.

The lodge is really nice with multiple levels and lots of space. Good options for food as well. Parking seems like it would be a joke on a busy day. There just isnt a lot.Skiing was ok. I dont think its at quite a high enough elevation to keep the snow deep enough long enough to be add good as it could be. They are supposed to be adding another lift or 2 in the next year or so for more terrain.I havent been yet for summer activities. This is where I think Cherry Peak is going to thrive and be a good choice for recreation. Biking, hiking, disc golf and multiple concerts throughout the summer.

Great people here, really nice for quick and simple stops if youre around. Every time Ive been here Ive gotten what I needed. Not only that, but I always leave the place with a happy vibe. Not a hippy or anything, just saying. Happy Rocktober everyone, lol.

This might be a small music shop but the guys here know there business. If you want to purchase a great instrument from guys who know what theyre selling and will take good care of you then KSM is your place. Ask them about their music lessons too.
