I never had a problem with service until ADT bought Protection One out.I had an appt where the technician was scheduled to arrive between 9 - 11 a.m. ADT called at 9:30 indicating the Tech became ill after reporting to work; thus theyd have to schedule another appt another day but theyd have to call me back within an hour to arrange the appt as their computers were down.I advised them that the system was inoperable & I needed service asap. I waited several hours no return call. I called in hopes of rescheduling an appt. & I was placed on hold for a long time (over 5 minutes) I was advised theyd have to call me later to reschedule.It has been 7 days now & no response from ADT. I am done with this company after being a customer almost 15 years.

I hate Protection 1. Id not recommend it. I checked that the alarm wasnt work for months, and I was paying! In December the sign Protection1 broke, it was very old and it was there before 2016 when I moved., I ve been asking them to bring another and stick in my front yard and they promise and never did!

Technician installed a card reader this morning. Go to lock up in the evening and its physically blocking the door leaving my door open. Its been 3 hours and they said they would send an emergency technician who never showed up. Extremely disappointed. The point of a security company is to do the EXACT opposite of this.

I didnt think any company could be worse than the cable companies, but Protection One takes the cake. The single worst customer service I have ever experience. Their equipment is constantly breaking down, and every little issue requires a min of 1-2 hours on the phone. They say they will make service appts, but they never do, and you have to constant call and follow up with them. DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICES!!

Best alarm service you can get for the money

Our service person is great, but their product is terrible, so many failures, its a constant breakdown. I woul dnot reccoment the product, I would reccomend the service person
