Experience was a disaster. I was charged 195.00 dollars to be told that I needed to a new transmission that would cost $6600.00. I was told that the issue was my transmission was running hot and he needed to be replaced no other explanation of why this was happening. So I took my car to another shop. They stated they know what the issue is a part needed to be replaced its common with GM/Chevy transmissions, so they ordered the part I will pick the car up on Tuesday the 12th. Harbor Chevy tried to rip me off or there mechanics dont know how to diagnose an issue. Easy fix out with the old in with the new lets not fix the real issue. I will never ever take my vehicle to Harbor Chevy again. I will never recommend this place to anyone needing Chevy service. This is why people dont like taking their cars to dealerships they have no integrity and they are dishonest, this was a total waste of my time.

Im so heated about my experience so far. I was told that my cylinder was misfiring and they were probably going to send it out to be inspected so it could be fixed. Then I get a text telling me that theyre going to clean my coils and spark plugs because it was oil over them and they said that should fix the problem. I asked where was the oil leak coming from and they said that they didnt know and told me my car was fixed and running fine. I went to pick up my truck and paid nearly $400 to clean off oil, to literally drive my truck around the corner and back to Chevy service center. Now they are supposed to be sending out my cylinders and fixing the real problem!!! I want my money back now because I paid for something that didnt fix anything and I feel I was scammed out of my money. Once its done this time under my warranty Im not bringing it back to this Chevrolet period!!!

I have been going to Harbor Chevrolet for a few years now with the best and fastest service from Elton in the Service department. From AutoNation Chevrolet in Santa Clarita which is the worst to Long Beach Harbor Chevrolet is worth the drive. Recently I was out of town and needed tires for my Traverse, American Tire store quoted me $1200 and three days, Elton over the phone quoted me $950 and four hours. My car was done in two hours; not one service or repair has ever been overpriced or longer then the quoted time, but usually in half the time

I recently was in the market for a new truck and was referred to Harbor Chevrolet by a family member. I am former sales/sales management professional so I am well aware of the stereotypes and horror stories of going through this type of process. None of them applied here. I went in and was walking the lot and was thrilled to be left alone to look around. Once I was ready the GM Chris was the first guy I spoke with. He was great! Direct, straightforward, asked some questions and got to work. His sales guy Leo was super knowledgeable, helpful and an overall good dude to work with as well. No drawn out back and forth process which I really appreciate. Finance lady was awesome as well. She went through and explained the contract, warranty options and paperwork like a pro! I purchased a brand new C8 Convertible and paid cash $13,000 over MSRP only for it to breakdown on the first day. Apparently transmission broke and it is on backorder. Not sure when I get the car fixed. Dealership is not taking any responsibility. I think they knew this car had a problem. This is why they refused to let me test drive it. They did not offer to home deliver the car and suggested for me to take Uber to pick it up. I believe they know the car had transmission issues and that is why they would not let me test drive it. I feel that I was taken. Not happy at all and certainly do not recommend them.

I would leave 0 stars if I could! Travelled a considerable distance today to buy their 2018 Volt Premier with a clear verbal understand and text sent showing my Carvana offer that they lady was supposed to match. Upon getting there, within 5 mins sitting down amnesia hit and the Carvana offer couldn’t be matched! There is a reason why this dealership has to sponsor the only 2018 Volt Premier that is loaded!!!!!! Plus it has been sitting on their lot and they can’t sell it since June 2021 in a used car market that is on fire for months!!!! My experience proved to be a sham with trade-in so watch out this dealership is for the birds!!! The we’re going to honor the purchase price told to me but knew they were going to get me for almost 3k less on trade in despite the text I sent to prove the Carvana offer was valid and my upfront statement not to make me waste my time coming down almost 70 miles on 4 hours sleep to make the deal happen under false pretenses!!! Like I said for the birds —- this car should be able to sell itself in this market!In response to response from owner!I was there in the dealership and tried to speak with managers before I left. They werent interested one bit in standing by the original offer presented to me on phone so why would I want to call them now! Seriously!!!!!!!!!

I am not sure about buying a car, but avoid Garth in the service department, dropped off my car and after getting the diagnosis, and approval for repairs, never heard from Garth again. I have a Volt, and fortunately, Harbor Chevrolet has someone on staff who understands Volts and they are always very helpful. Bill has become my personal service guy and is always wonderful to me. Last time, although they needed to keep my car a long time because the Volt specialist had a family emergency, they fixed a couple of minor things, washed the car, and didnt charge me a penny! One of my employees also has a Chevrolet, and went their recently and also had a very good experience. I recommend Harbor Chevrolet 100 percent!

Overall, we are satisfied with the purchase of our Bolt LT from Harbor Chevrolet. Andrew Raya, the salesperson, was attentive and helpful with our questions without being aggressive. The price of the EV was the best we were offered from any dealership, with the options we were looking for.Our only complaint, and which prevented us from giving them five stars, is about minor damage we discovered on the steering wheel. The wheel had a puncture at the top of the back of wheel. So, when the steering wheel turns we feel the unevenness of the material from the puncture. According to Andrews conversation with the service department, all of the Bolts on their lot have that damage, that they came from the factory like that, and that their is nothing they can do to smooth it out. Its hard to believe that all of Bolts have that damage. If they do and they knew, why werent we informed of it? So, beware Bolt buyers.Regardless, we would recommend Harbor Chevrolet because of the exceptional attentiveness and tact of Andrew Raya. Do yourself a favor and set-up an appointment with him.

Salesperson was very knowledgeable and not pushy at all. The only complaints I have is that I was not told that the protective coating on the vehicle was going to be an additional charge. Also, when I picked up the vehicle, I was under the impression it was going to be fully detailed, but the truck was only washed as if it were hand washed on the outside. I schedule an appointment for an oil change a week in advance. I show up the day of the app, was waiting for about 20 min just for them to tell me that they had ran out of the required oil for my car. I understand that certain things run out at times, but they could have totally noticed me prior for me not to lose my time. SO INCONVENIENT PLACE atleast for my experience. Dealership commits fraud regularly by placing false ads on Autotrader for a lower price than their actual price. Then their sales people tell callers that the price is incorrect on Autotrader. I just went through an entire chain of sales people who tried repeatedly to tell me that the mistake was from Autotrader -- but the ad is identical in every other way. Their General Sales Manager, Chris Smith, just hung up on me when I pointed out that it is impossible for Autotraders API to pull ever field in their listings exactly, but then alter a SINGLE field for the price from $28495 to $26995. That does not happen. Someone either manually altered the listing by mistake or (more likely) on purpose. Regardless, it is an advertised product at a given price -- they have a legal obligation to honor it. But they will not. This dealership engages in false advertising to generate leads. I suggest everyone be aware of their practices and find another reputable dealer.UPDATE: After Chris Smith INSISTING that the listing was created by Autotrader and they had no control over it, and telling me they couldnt edit the listing at all and had no access to it -- minutes after he hung up on me, the ad on Autotrader MYSTERIOUSLY was updated to the price they said the vehicle was supposed to be. It seems Chris was actually concerned about the FRAUDULENT ad that he claimed wasnt fraud after all and altered his FALSE ADVERTISING to attempt to prevent legal action. Unfortunately, this wouldnt help as their ad was up for several days like this and multiple customers inquired about purchasing the vehicle at the ORIGINAL stated price they would not honor. Bad move Chris, you just inadvertently confirmed that you had control of these ads all along. AS I SAID.

Wouldnt take the time to write this if I wasnt blind.This man who was driving this car almost made me crash because his imprudence to drive was a lot.He was driving on Magnolia Street in the city of Garden Grove around 5:30 p.m.I was driving more than 65 miles per hour on a street need to go at 40 miles per hour.He is driving and suddenly he got in front of me just to ravage another who is in front of him and so he was driving all over the magnolia cutting the road to all the cars in front of him.He is a very irresponsible person to drive .You as a company should train them so that they do not continue to deal with this type of responsibility

Had some issues with my vehicle that required taking it in twice to diagnosis the issue. Each time I was greeted by Garth who instantly put my mind at ease. His knowledge, kindness and clear communication made this service process so much easier. I left a previous regular service location due to their rude and unaccountable staff they hired. Our experience in purchasing the 2021 Silverado was as good as can be expected. Chris, our sales person was very patient with our concerns, desires & needs. Buying a vehicle seems to take a lot out of a person, back and forth, back and forth which is typical. In our case we never felt any pressure to make a hasty decision. We came into the dealership to see a vehicle that we saw on the dealer web site, and yes it was there. The price was as advertised but of course that only applied to some very tight and controlled sets of parameters. After all was said and done the deal did happen as a lease. It was not our first choice but we do plan on keeping this vehicle long term.

Harbor Chevrolet is by far the best dealership Ive ever dealt with. From the time my husband and I drove into the dealership, until the time we left with our set of car keys, we did not feel any pressure at all! There were no hidden costs; what the website stated was what the price ended up to be. Plus, Harbor also states the KBB (Kelley Blue Book) value of the vehicles so there are no questions on the price youre paying. Our sales expert (Daniel Esquivel) treated us with respect and knew everything there was to know about the cars we were interested in purchasing! He didnt make any assumptions of the type of car we could afford or if we can handle the vehicle. He was patient, answered all our questions and also offered to help even after the sale was over. It also helps to have an excellent finance team to assist in the process (Thank you Lilia Amador!). The finance team assisted with a buyback of my vehicle and offered me what KBB stated it should be offered at...unlike the dealership in Upland (Mountain View). They offered the buyback at a much lower price. Thank you Harbor Chevrolet for the excellent car buying experience! Due to this, we ended up buying 2 vehicles on the spot!

I saw a chevy truck on line, went to dealership harbor Chevrolet and met with Luis the sales man, when we were doing the paperwork the older guy sold the truck knowing Luis was in the process of selling it to me. He was not only mess up to me but to the other saler too, he said i took too long but he had already sold it to people after me .They run my credit in vainIm really upset by this guy.Anyway Ill find another truck.
