I asked for custom aluminum steps to help me enter and exit the bow of my boat safely at the launch. These guys took it the extra mile and made the steps look as though they were part of the original trailer design and even added some glow in the dark non-skid on the steps for those early morning launches. They finished my job in less than a day after dropping off my boat as promised. I couldn’t be happier with their service and the final product. The welds on my steps are stout. There were some awesome aluminum boats being made in their shop.

I have an 18/60 flat bottom I had built in 2014 at Roberts welding. It’s the toughest boat I have ever owned. I recently had it repowered with Honda 105 jet.,And they done an excellent job. The service was great. I financed it through Honda and they took care of alll the paperwork and hassle. I would highly recommend them if your in the business of having a boat built. It’s the only way to go

Several months ago I was in the need of a new allweld. After looking at all the traditional name brands, and not finding what i wanted, i came to Robert to build my custom boat. Can’t say enough good things about these guys. We had a blowout on our boat trailer on the way to beach (80 mi from home). The blowout caused substantial damage to the trailer. Enough that it could not be pulled any substantial distance. I managed to call a welder, ie Robert. He told me to just keep coming down and bring it to his shop. He would see what he could do. These guys went above and beyond to fix the trailer. They added a support and rewelded all this joints. Their shop and machinery is top notch. Made my two young kiddos feel right at home and saved the day for us. Had us back on the road in 2 hrs and charged me a very reasonable amount for the repair. After all that, we managed to make a good day out of a rough start. A big thanks to Robert and his crew. I wouldn’t hesitate to do business with them. These guys definitely take pride in their work.

Met this gentleman 5 years ago when he first started making custom boats. He let me borrow his baby. His first custom floundering boat that he made. I have been hooked on floundering on his boats even since then. We have won one of the coast biggest tournament and filmed three television shows since then. I have been 44 miles offshore in the gulf of mexico on his boats and never had one doubt if I was gonna make it home to see my kids. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE HIS BOATS. THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES

When I started bowfishing 5 years ago, I remember seeing all the big boys. With their all custom boats loaded down with the best stuff. I was just overwhelmed by everyones rig. I thought to myself wow if I could just fish off one those boats one day that would be so awesome. Get to see what its like to own a big boy boat. I called Robert one day and told him my ideas. He said whatever you want we can do it, everything custom. Let me tell ya this boat will last a life time. Big 3/16 extruded ribs built like a tank. I went with a 2072, wrap around light boxes, bow boxes, cat walks everything you could imagine. He rigged up a new 140hp Suzuki and 15 100w LEDs. And clean rigging/wiring the whole boat. True professional at what he does. Ill recommend him to everyone who asks about my boat, or anyone looking for their next boat. Well worth the 18 hour ride. Ive owned two Long Beach boats a17 and a 20 been so impressed with quality of build I now have 3 buddies running these and one more about to buy one. First thing out of my bosses mouth when he seen our 20 was damn that things a tank. Very happy with his work Ive put them thru hell and back and it never skipped a beat Thank you sir for a remarkable product I will be purchasing a 20 for myself in the near future. Buyer Beware.A good friend of mine bought a long beach boat a full time guide like my self. Great looking boat super thick 3/16 hull so 8 months I had one built just like my friend. A week after picking mine up my friend had to redo how his console was mounted when pulling his console structure damage was found the whole floor had to be pulled 22 cracks 3 complete broken stringers. When I contacted Robert about the the hull and how mine would do the same if not structurely reinforced. I was told to put the boat on the ground and weld the additional braces my self and would cost me only a few hundred bucks and he would also send some brackets also to help reinforce. Great now i was expect to some how get this boat on and off the trailer and have to weld this piece of junk before it ever seen water. A few days later I talked to robert again and flat out told him i dont have the equipment to do the job and he needs to pay to have this boat shipped back and redone right. Robert said it cost 1200 for shipping from south Texas. I told him this ordeal has put me behind on finishing this build i would tow it back down if he would lay my floor and front rails for the flounder boat which i already had the metal and weld my in a console. He told me he thought it was fair enough and not asking for to much. A week later I was back in Ms. When I dropped it off he told me it would be done by lunch, I said thats quick to have the bracing for the floor, console and rails done. He said we are only doing the bracing. Other words I just spent 500 in traveling expenses because he cant build a boat right and was told a big fat lie. As anyone can imagine things got nasty. He ended up giving me a old extra console and the rivets for the floor. By way robert tks i still dont have the key for my deck latch. So many boat builders out there this one is a joke. Under built boats with thick hulls that dont last. This builder short cuts all he can I was told my boat is 5052 aluminium 5056 should have been used better protection against saltwater and stiffer also less prone to abrasion from the boat scraping bottom against oysters etc when floundering. 5056 is like a old vs new pc but 5052 is much cheapers.Places on my boat that have been bent were cut in order for them to bend it instead of a bender being used. Junk boats structurely. My friend refused to take his boat back to robert said he couldnt trust him to do the job right. $5600 bill from superior welding in freeport tx Robert covered aprox 1700 for just the materials and griped about the price.Dont buy into the bs find another builder if you want a boat to last. Thanks Robert for the worst boat buying experiece ever. Also I gave a negitave facebook review that was deleted.
