I walked in to the store, I had a question about my 35 mm camera. I noticed when I looked through the camera it looked grainy and I wanted to see if my pictures would pick up the imperfections. The associates were very nice and assured me that it was purely cosmetic and the images would be fine. I appreciate their honesty, I will definitely be back for any camera needs.

I am very upset at the service I received for a repair on my Canon EOS 1V HS. I recived an all together different Canon EOS 1V with diffrent serial number, did not return my high speed battery grip, and on top of all of this they couldnt give me an accurate timeframe and kept pushing it back causung me missed work.In short the repair was never made and instead was given a diffrent camera.Very untrustworthy and not reliable for handling and repairing professional equipment.

Super service there to day from Eric! I came in with a pending disaster (lol...relatively speaking!), and Eric fixed me up as courteously and efficiently as I could possibly have imagined. In fact, Ive been in to Tuttle several times in the past, and have ALWAYS received great personable, non-rushed service. HIGHLY recommended, for sales or service. Theyre not a full store anymore, No Bogen, no medium format. I was surprised, since there use to be 2 stores, and Terrys camera is gone. They have the market to themselves.With the rise of smart phones, the pro market is whats left. But they seem to be after the amateur market. Kind of wrong way. They have film. Call to make sure they have what your looking for.

I recently dropped off my Lumix Gh5 camera on Friday for Repairs, am yet to end my Transaction with them to know if they deserve 5Stars or not, but so far, I like their Reception, while one of the guy was attending to me a customer walked in with his mask hanging on one ear, he told him respectfully to properly fix his mask, although the Customer was very rude, I like the way he Comport himself, I was impressed, I thought he will freak out due to fear of getting conrona Virus, but he was well composed I liked it, that alone deserve 3stars, when I get my Camera back repaired. I will come back and review my review.

I needed to get my camera a tune up. But when I was in there they said that they could do my camera & 2 lens as well with a reasonable price. The price that I paid for all 3 items was about what I figured to do the camera for! So far everything looks great & all was done in just a couple of days. Thanks guys.

I am writing this review on behalf of the excellent service given to me by Eric and Tuttle Cameras. 6 months ago I needed a battery for my Canon 7D MK II. I have long been weary of secondary market batteries so when I called I specifically requested a LPN-E6N battery. The clerk told me they had one so I drove down to the store and when I spoke to the clerk he handed me a second market battery. I was pretty upset to drive all the way down there after I called and specifically asked for the Canon battery. I posted a review about this experience and the next day Eric called me him. He told me to make up for this experience he would let me use the Pro Master battery at no cost and to write a review after 6 months. I am writing to let consumers know that after 6 months this battery is superior to the Canon battery as it holds a charge longer and also charges quicker. A big thanks to Eric and Tuttle Cameras. I recommend this store to every camera enthusiast especially those who might be looking for their first camera.. Eric will not steer you wrong.

Awesome camera store! Staff is very helpful and they really know their stuff. Ive gotten tons of film developed here and am always pleasantly surprised by how nice my pictures come out. I found a used Minolta SR-T 101 and they helped me clean it out and restore it to a great working condition. Here is a picture of my dog with a flower that I got developed there.

Thank you to everyone from Tuttle Camera for hosting the 2017 Solar Eclipse viewing event.The team had set up three cameras on tripods with different settings for people who had brought their SD card with them to view & take shots of the eclipse.They also had binoculars & solar viewing glasses available to everyone!A fantastic & fun event for all ages who came.The use of the outstanding equipment came at no cost to the public!

Very knowledgeable folks here. I am a 40+ year customer and this is one of the few remaining stores dedicated solely to cameras in this area. Their price, while not like Amazon, are good. You pay a little extra for the hands-on service, both before and after your purchase. Highly recommended.

Super knowledgable friendly workers. Accessible store featuring great products. However, my scans are probably the worst quality Ive received. Even paying top dollar for pricey scans. Not my first choice for developing but my first choice for inquiry in the area.

5days ago I dropped off an original 110Kodak film hoping to be developed soon. My DSLR Raw photos could not be printed. And I still give them a good rating they have everything you need and dont need, from camera wear to lens rentals. Its such a small store but I could spend hours in it.

Tuttle Camera is a fantastic store. Ive been going there for years and have purchased several cameras and lenses from them. I had a lens get jammed after several years of use and they honored my warranty immediately. It was repaired within a week! The staff is always extremely accomadating and friendly. They are a neighborhood shop, so dont expect them to have everything a large New York megastore would carry; however, I definitely recommend going there before looking anywhere else.

Its a small shop, and most of their equipment is for Nikon and Canon. I have a Lumix, and their micro four-thirds selection is VERY limited, as is their employees knowledge of such. Thats the reason for my rating. If you have a Canon or Nikon, your experience may be better.

Went there on the slight chance that they had an adapter for my binos to a tripod and sure enough they had it. Not only that, but they helped me to make sure it installed properly. Thanks for the great service!

Im a 41 year old woman & am to old for attitude first of all. I was talking some young guy with the beard (wished I knew his name) I was asking about getting my camera cleaned. I then asked that if my camera were to be damaged while in their care, it would be covered by them if I decided to let them clean it. As in if they dropped it or crack it etc. anything shoots its my camera & not cheap. Not a bad a bad question to ask. Of course I want to know its covered & in good hands. Who wouldnt?! Im sure mr. sarcastic if he were on the other side of the counter would be asking the same questions. His response to me was, I mean, I could get hit by a bus tomorrow so once it walks out the door thats not in us. WTH?! Okay & your point is way off! Im not asking you to cover it once I leave guys. I asked while in your store & care. Yeah dude! No kidding. None of us are promised tomorrow, but back to my question about my camera?! Then he was just totally rude and treated me like I was stupid & no respect. In my head Im thinking why make such unnecessary comments & be so difficult. Maybe he was just having a bad day. Either was Samys will clean your camera for free or if its really bad 35$ these guys here want 65$ to do nothing. Just a bunch of young kids in there which explains the lack of professionalism. Anyways, he way off topic and still want to know do you cover the camera while its in your shop being fixed if something were to happen?! Just a simple answer will do fine. I dont need your sarcastic snooty remarks that you could get hit by a bus as soon as you walked out of your shop. The hell that got to do with anything?! Im taking about in your store in your care! Common sense man! Then to top it off he wanted to change me 65$ to clean one spot off the sensor. I then went home called around & found Justin at Samys. Its a little bit of a drive, but well worth it. They only charge 35$ for a cleaning at Samys! And as I only had one speck on dirt, Justin, at Samys in Santa Anna, didnt even change me that. Had the service that has long been forgotten for putting the customers first. Ill never be back to Tuttles & will be buying & taking photography classes with Samys from here on out. Samys will get all my photography business.. Unless in the NYC area then B&H is also a good place.Take the extra time & go to the men & women at Samys where they care about having satisfied customers walk out of their doors. Very disappointed in my local Long Beach photo shop Tuttle & would recommend to stay away from this place.

Absolutely awful. DO NOT PURCHASE OR SELL ITEMS TO THIS PLACE. I bought a film camera from here for 200 dollars and a lens for 100. I came back to try to sell it for about half of what I bought it for. They refused to buy both items because they said that they werent in proper working order. EVEN THOUGH I BOUGHT IT FROM THEM IN THE SAME CONDOTION. Employees are rude and act like theyre doing you a favor by talking to you. Id give these ignorant jerks a zero if I could.

After multiple unacceptable attempts to get passport photos done at two Fed Ex Office stores we walked in to Tuttles and they got them done right on the first shoot. In and out in 5 minutes and cheaper than the other guys!! Thank you!!

My wife did some Christmas shopping there, spent a ton of money based on a specific wish list. An inexperienced / dishonest Tuttle Camera employee pushed her to buy the wrong items (whatever they had in stock) I had to return the items and they charged a restocking fee on unopened items that they had incorrectly recommended! $300 down the drain. Never never never again.

Most ridicules store. Things are way overpriced. I try to buy a cleaning sensor swab and the told me the only have for DX but not for full frame pro cameras... :( So I would have to order it and pre pay.If you are a pro store why you dont have those in stock for professional photographers? I can order it myself from Adorama for half of the price....Adrian
