My adventure for a good meal brought me here to Long Beach Fish Grill near the corner Redondo Avenue and Anaheim Street in the City of Long Beach, California. Indoor and outdoor dining is currently unavailable. They are taking call-in/pick-up as well as walk-up orders at the restaurant. I ordered the cajun-style salmon with rice pilaf and a drink. The two pieces of salmon was juicy and flavorful and the rice was cooked well and not dry. I might have to come back when the restaurant starts to open up for outdoor dining and try other items on the menu. Overall, it was a good meal.

Ceviche was fresh, chips just made fresh, you can taste every fresh taste to the shrimp, vegetables, sauce perfect 💯

Owner is incredibly nice. The fish options are great and everything cooked to perfection.

The shrimp kabobs with the Cajun sauce were delicious. Had them with the grilled asparagus which had a tasty savory seasoning on them. They have a nice outdoor shaded dining patio and plenty of free parking. Relatively reasonable prices.

Worst food ever! This place overloads you with dry rice, bland black beans from can, way too much cabbage, very little cream sauce and the fish is a joke! I really want my money back. This slop is not worth our hard earned money.

Got wife & granddaughter grill salmon/garlic butter with rice pilaf/garlic bread & The House which is cod fillet/fried shrimp/fried scallops/and french fries & sweet potato fries/both w/cold slaw.they both enjoyed everything.

I admire this restaurant! They provide great meals, their menu is large, The chief cook in that place is a professional, I love a lot eating all their food. The food is consistently tasty, the service towards the guests is helpful. I visit often this restaurant and I was never unsatisfied. I recommend it to all my friends.

I been coming here for the past 6 months. They are amazing! I get the Salmon (blacked with garlic butter) with extra coleslaw. Always fresh, delicious and satisfying.

Been here a few times. Most recently on an outing with friends. I really enjoy this place. Great food and service. they always take care of us. Drinks are always great of course

It was wonderful and taste. Salmon burger was so good, grilled salmon and shrimp kabob were remarkable! Omg!

Found this delicious dive! Incredibly good seafood. I had the fried scallops and shrimp with Coleslaw. I opted for zucchini instead of fries. Thai owned so you bet its incredibly good food! Generous portions, filling and greatly satisfying ! Made my day. No need to go the marina and pay 3x more for same high quality. No website... you know they invest all their talents into food quality not PR or marketing :)

Rich flavorful clam chowder. Alaskan cod and shrimp entree was excellent!

The fries in their fish and chips could be better. Do better with your fries. The fish is really good

They can do better. Maybe theyre regular cook was out due to COVID! OR, maybe I was expecting more. The fish needs more seasoning, and the bag itself left a raw fish smell in my car.

The food is good. I had seared ahi tuna medium done and my husband had grilled swordfish with cajun seasoning. Both tasted good and the bread so good also. Definitely recommended.

Very good fish dinners

Expensive compared to a year ago. lack of selection for sides but can pay much more for vegetables. unwanted plastic fork and knife but cant get vegetables for less than 5 bucks if one also wants rice. guess ot is a problem with money. I can afford the 25.00 halibut but just wanted some healthy choice for a side.

Tried the Mahi Mahi taco plate and liked it. Clean and light. No overwhelming sauces.

Tables were dirty, I notified the cashier and they did nothing about it. Very poor housecleaning if any.

Placed an order via grubhub for takeout. Tried fish tacos and fries. The fish bit was so tiny for the price of $4/ taco and it was just loaded with cabbage. There was no cilantro sauce and other stuff that was mentioned on the menu. The salsa side and taco had a weird smell/taste. For the fries, we specified criapy and got soft ones instead. There is easy access and parking infront.

Its pretty good food but due to the pandemic a lot of the portions are way too small.

Such good food!

If I could give a 0 star I would. Dry, bland and their food tasted disgusting. Their food wasnt at all edible and we spent $60 for their dinner that we ended up throwing away because they refused to give us a refund. Horrible customer service and horrible food. Just take your business elsewhere.

Salmon & zucchini were perfectly grilled! The toasted garlic bread was buttery & delicious! We enjoyed the outdoor seating also! Tempura shrimp was crunchy! Loved the authentic corn tortillas with shrimp taco. Great service too!

Just wow. There is no other words. Fish and chips and also sweet potato fries asparagus salad. The amount of food made it a value, the price tag was just the bonus when I was expecting it to be so much more. Will do again, and again and again.

For fish it was great! I picked this place based on reviews and wanted something local. I dont care much for seafood but the group I was with does. They all loved their food and was very happy. I on the other hand did not. Not the restaurants fault. I ordered chicken tenders and did not expect this. They were okay but not my best. Different region so different look. Take me out of the equation and everyone loved what they got. They said the fish and chips were awesome 👌

My friend and I stopped here for lunch. We split the house special of fried shrimp, fish and scallops, with French fries and coleslaw. I added a cup of clam chowder. Everything was fresh and cooked well, not overcooked, nor undercooked. The food had a very good flavor. The slaw serving was very small. The clam chowder was very thick with a runny mashed potato consistency. It tasted good, but did not have a lot of clams. The fried food was pretty good, except for the scallops. They were much better without the batter on them With the batter the scallops were like eating tater tots.If we come again we will probably try their grilled fish instead.

Great spot for a good meal and a good time. I prefer their fried shrimp tacos. Very lightly breaded and the batter has good flavor. Not bad prices for what you get, but do expect to spend around $30 for dinner for two. Highly recommend and Ill be back again!

I found this place by chance and will always come back after a great experience. The food here is DELICIOUS!! I recommend the blackened salmon sandwich- fish tacos are okay.

Family owned restaurant! I ordered the salmon with brown rice & a side of grilled zucchini. The meal came with a piece of garlic bread & small coleslaw. The food was delicious I will deffinently be going back. Price point average of $15 a person. Fair for a seafood place

Hidden gem! The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. Great service and a very reasonable price. The salmon was amazing and its a perfect sized meal. Also tried the fish and chips which were perfectly made. Will be coming back in the future!

We went here because of all the good reviews. It held up. These guys grill fish! The fish was fresh and delicious. Fast service- great atmosphere. The sauces were delightful - loved the sweet potato fries. I would come here again.

I took my daughter here tonight and the food was wonderful. I had the frilled wild rock fish and my daughter had the salmon salad. Both dishes were fresh and bursting with flavor. Well done! on a side note I didnt give it five stars because they serve the food on paper plates with plastic utensils but still charged full-scale restaurant prices.

The place has changed quite a bit since they got new owners. The crew that used to work there were very friendly and welcoming.the portions seemed to have shrunk. My. fish tacos were basically everything but fish. The fish in the taco was the size of about a chicken macnugget cut in two. Ill probably give it 1 more chance. Then probably stop going and recommending the place.

I read all the great reviews and I had to try this place out! The food is delicious. I am definitely coming back and telling my family about this place. The staff greeted us from the moment we stepped in. Very friendly and kind employees. Nice and clean inside.

The food was served quickly. Fresh and hot. Even the French fries were great. The outdoor seating is very nice especially in a nice day. Staff was friendly.

I paid $25.00 for halibut only for it to be dry and overcooked and for it to come in a cardboard box. I mean the least they could done was use some wax sheet paper or foil so I couldve njoyd the butter garlic sauce I order to go on top. Things need to change; starting with the cook.

Omg delicious!! What a pleasant surprise. The fish and chips were perfection. Perfect batter. The fried shrimp were juicy! Had with a glass of Sauvignon and was in heaven. I was skeptical of how the food was going to be based on the area it was in but sitting on the patio with the height of the gates you couldn’t even see the neighborhood. I will definitely be back!

Always fresh tasting and well seasoned

This is legitimately the only place in town that my parents will eat when they come to visit. I made fun of them and I always try to get them to come to new places, but recently they took me there and I remembered why I showed it to them in the first place. The food is awesome. I love the deep fried trout (very very very light cornflour batter and crispy salty skin) with fries. Always a wide array of sauces and a nice fish tank for atmosphere. Great selection of alcoholic beverages.
