The ceviche is always fresh tamales are always good not too much on grocery shopping near me but their shrimp a really good price

Very clean and the cashiers are very friendly. I like coming to this particular Northgate Market. Its big and a pleasant experience. The prices are much better than other places/ super markets. I always come back.

Northgate market has a grand variety of items. The workers and sales rep are wonderful. They are very limited and organic fruits and vegetables which is unfortunate. They have a nice garden section a flower boutique section I should say. Being a vegan I would like to see more varieties of fruits and vegetables that are organic. The bathrooms are wonderfully clean and the store is nice and organized. Parking is ample.

Love this store. Not sure if its the biggest one but they have everything. Great produce, fresh tortillas, fresh salsas, pico de Gallo, fresh chips and a great meat market...

The meat department is so efficient, and the meat looks gorgeous! I got the family pack for my tacos tomorrow. Meat was extra fresh looking!

The meat, bakery, tortillria, fresh ready food, omg the fresh juices. The best quality of fruits and vegetables around.Always get a juice and taco, and dont forget your Mexican fresh bread to go with your morning coffee.

Northgate Markets just keep getting better and better! This is only the second Northgate Market I have been to since I moved to California, and I am even more impressed! This is a larger store than the one I had been to near me. Absolutely my favorite store now! Wow! They have EVERYTHING! And the prices are the best in the area as far as i have seen. Variety, quality, well organized and very, very nice staff! Not going anywhere else anymore! Five stars all the way 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I was in there yesterday and wanted to buy asada. Changed my mind quick as I waited because part of their cooler/display case for the meat was broken and hanging low along the entire top inside and it was gathering water/condensation and all that fluid and liquid was just dripping on to all the meat below. I have no idea what the fluid was or where it was coming from but it was dripping all on the meats below. The meat also all looked brown and not red. It didnt look or smell fresh at all. Decided not to buy a thing and left quick.

Thus has got to be the cleanest Northgate I have ever been in

I love this place for all my hometown favorite foods that cant be found anywhere else. The staff, for the most part, are friendly and helpful. The gentlemen at the bakery are super nice and go out of their way to help you.

Terrible place. The meats were rotten, the smell inside is indescribably putrid. If i could i would give it a 0 star rating because it was an experience no one should have when buying food.

I used to live near another Northgate and this one is at least twice the size. It has everything including a tamale station and a truly impressive agua frescas station. Amazing.

Found some delicious fresh warm tortillas here! Great produce section as well. Would have given five stars, if it werent for the micro sized parking stalls in the lot...

Service in the store is good even the cashiers but when you call by phone they dont even help you at all! Youll be on the line for a cool 30 mins with no help.smh is 1 of my favorite markets but they disappoint me today. I decided to call just to ask a simple question 😥🤔🤔 I wonder whos the mngr!

Great place, meat always fresh

During current life style pandemic all staff members have everything really well organized & clean. Has everything you need for Hispanic/ Latin food & the bread & liquors etc... oh they also have flowers & fresh warm meals if you dont want to cook.

I love Northgate Market. The atmosphere is the best if you love Spanish culture. Fresh meat, any and everything you need to make an authentic Spanish dish. Helpful, friendly staff. Will even give a brief history of the store.

I seldom go here since prices posted often do not match what you are charged at register. Today for example Organic bananas were posted for 69 cents a pound but at register they rang up at 79 cents. This time the difference was small and the cashier corrected it but forgot to take out the original bananas. I had been charged twice for same bananas. After he said I corrected it for you and handed me receipt I looked at it and asked me to show me where the incorrectly charged bananas has been credited since I could not find the credit but could see the correct price added as produce. He could not find it so he then refunded me the money for the bananas. When I buy a larger number of items the amount I am overcharged is 6 or more dollars. Someone needs to take time to do price checks at this store. Be careful...price you see posted has not been updated in computer and you end up paying more. Errors oddly enough always point in their favor. Not once has a price error been in my favor.

I love this Market. Fresh food Fresh Tortillas fresh salsa, fresh fresh fresh Its a little pricey though. But its worth it. I go to this particular Northgate to purchase flowers to put on my grandparents burial stones, across the street at one of the most beautiful Forest Lawn mortuaries Ive ever been to I praise God that theyre buried there.

I have always lile northagete market, there bread is always fresh, and not like other stores were in 3 days it becomes hard, northgates bread lasts like a week before it starts to harden. And you can also find some stuff that other stores dont have.

I love Northgate! Go there for great prices on produce and meat, and be sure to stop by the ceviche bar! Love the tamales and fresh salsas too! And if you are having a party, they have great prices on party packs for small and large groups. Overall, my favorite grocery store for price and variety.

The staff keep everything clean and organized. There is a variety of foods and goodies not to mention its very cheap place to buy your groceries. I live this place and always buy my food here. The vegetables and fruits are always fresh and delicious.

Super friendly staff and a great selection of foods for decent prices. The store is pretty easy to navigate around. They also have on going samples of food and drinks while you shop! We just got coupons in the mail for later this month and next month, and they are actually really great coupons too.

Great service and selection. Their ready to go meats like Carne Asada or Al Pastor are excellent and the prices are right. Highly recommend!

If you want to make a last minute stop at the meats section where they have to serve you the meats and food by the pound dont bother. They start to close early. I understand they want to get out asap but its a little inconvenient for me as I rushed over to find out sections of the store close early. They should publisize this.

Its a nice store and has most of everything .friendly staff was able to return some food no hassle, but on a side note the meat dept is lacking,they had flies buzzing on some meat they had place on a counter and yeah i wouldnt eat that meat at all no way jose

Horrible dont come here to buy meat and if you do make sure its not expired. Meat here is not fresh and just bought some pork ribs when I was eating them they smell and taste like amonia. This is not the first time I have bought meat and goes bad right away or is stinks.
