A few months into the pandemic I recall wanting to write a review for markets for very similar reasons. My review pertains to my most recent visit. Working a customer facing job day in and day out can be different for every employee -- especially during a pandemic.Digital Payment: Takes Samsung, not Apple, Pay. I dont know of other forms of digital payment.Customer Service: Always on point. I always find an eager employee at a self checkout aisle ready to help.Products: There are a lot of products though the market is a bit out of the way for me.The store is big. The aisles are longer than wide. The parking lot is huge. The store is usually clean.

I lost my key card and they found it! They were so kind to me and continuously looking for it when I know they did not have to. I’m very grateful for the staff here! They deserve an awesome 5 star rating!!

Where are all the checkers? Lines are too long on Fridays. I need to remember not to come here on a Friday. Everything else is great here.

This house is huge and has fresh produce a pharmacy in Wells Fargo a Starbucks in Ful deli and bakery also self check out and easy parking

Today 22 September 2021. I purchased 2 lbs of chicken thighs and 2 lbs of chicken breast. There was a bug in the chicken breast and the chicken thigh were spoiled.

This store is top notch and always has been but the employees here have gone above and beyond during this pandemic, shout out to Bunni who kept things calm and orderly starting way back in March when things were crazy and special mentions for Otis who brings us our groceries curbside for his caring attitude and attention to detail and finally Maria G. Who recently helped with a complicated return and went out of her way, without asking to make things better than right for us. This store does everything right and we are thankful to have it. Loyal customers for life.

I seldom give a 5 stars review...as there is always room for imrovement, but Iim in LOVE with this particular Ralphs Market! I hesitate to shara this as one of the upsides of this huge store is that it is seldom if ever crowned!!! Its really been my go to grocery during this past year of Covid and the concern of getting too close to others in a shopping environment. This store is very big, newer than so many other markets, and the isles are wider. Also, it is very clean! They have a great bakery, a very large deli dept. and TOP of the LINE FRESH PRODUCE!!! Every dept is well stocked most of the time. The staff is very helpful and positive!Its THE ONLY grocery store that STILL is wiping down the cashiers conveyor belt after each clients transaction has been completed!!! I really appreciate their efforts to keep their stations sanitary!!!This is an exceptional store!!!! Thank you!

Today I went to this Ralphs looking for port its a dessert wine I went to a cash register and the bagger I believe her name is Bunni ...this lady went beyond the call of duty to help me find a Port ....I appreciate ur assistance and I enjoyed my Port 🍷🍷

The website says open until 1am. I show up at 1210 and the employee outside says it is closed. I double check the website and it says the hours were updated 6 days ago to reflect this store being open until 1am. Wasted my time .

This is my go to store. Its so convenient. The pharmacy is open until 9pm. Their produce is amazing. I can get personal and household items there comparable to Target. They have back to school specials comparable to Dollar Tree. I needed to pick up non-alcoholic beer, wine, and drink mix, with comparable prices to Smart and Final, but Smart and Final doesnt carry non-alcoholic wine and most of the time are out of Odouls! Its always a pleasure to shop there. All the employees are friendly and helpful.

Sad to say the manager here tonight was very rude I explained why I cant shop with a mask because I have a medical condition I breath through my mouth and he sarcastically said you can shop on instacart very sad and judgemental many other locations they are very kind and understanding but this manager was so rude I will never ever step foot in this store ever again it is 8:30 pm October 16th 2020

About as good as a corporate grocery store gets. This store has an almost large enough selection across the entire spectrum of food stuffs and household products. Still has too many singleton choices as well as discounted items. Very good beer and wine department.

The staff here is phenomenal! This Ralphs has become my familys grocery store because of this. Jacob, Antonio and German specifically are always great help with anything that we approach them about. They are committed to customer happiness. It makes every visit feel very personal. While it is a large store, it feels very much like a neighborhood corner market. Thank you Jacob, Antonio, and German!

Nice clean store

Yesterday we went for western union service, Cindy was taking care of us. She’s sales manager. She gave us worst service. Very rude and she was raising her voice at us. Her coworkers came in the middle of transaction and started to talk about their schedule while we were standing and waiting. After 3-4 minutes we said we are in rush and then they stopped talking. She just throw the transaction paper on the desk without explanation.I’ve been using WU many times but this lady gave me hardest time. Today I called WU customer service 3 times because it’s blocked for some reason. ( never happened before)I live very close to this location and almost everyday I go there. I don’t think I’m going there again.Please somebody tell her to smile to customers and do her job right

The store is clean, the deals are what you’d expect, and the produce is fresh. The meats and seafood staff is knowledgable, light-hearted and retentive.While checking out, though, the young female cashier made judgmental slurs towards me putting me in a very uncomfortable position where I wasn’t sure whether to defend myself or just chuckle as if she were kidding (which I don’t believe she was). And for this, I leave this rating.

I cant say enough good things about this store. Had good help at the deli. Got a fried chicken breast. I got help from a customer who works for vineyard wines picking out wines. The mgr got me a discount and helped bag my groceries.. Also a sale on Oscar Meyers bacon...

Very helpful and nice! The Deli didnt have salsa that we wanted and didnt think they could get it anymore was nice enough to give us another container of salsa at no charge! Ralphs always tries to keep the customer satisfied! Im a Pavilions shopper but now will be a shopper at Ralphs! Thank you!

I love being able to get my banking and grocery shopping done in one place. They nearly always have what I want and need. The people have always been very nice.

This market consistently has terrible produce. Its gross, not sure why old deteriorating produce is allowed to stay on the shelves. Not only once, but every time Ive been to this market, the produce is really, really bad.This Ralphs is only a last resort for me and I dont buy fruits or vegetables from here. Other non-produce items are stocked well and there is a decent variety. Gelsons or Pavilions is a much better choice.

Exceptional cheese section. Better than any other Ralph’s, and better than Whole Foods in fact. Liquor is expensive. Too large of a store for my liking.

This is a great grocery store! The people working here are always really friendly and ready to help you. The prices are a little high but the quality of food, especially the fresh food and salads, is excellent.

Ralphs now has a variety of Gluten Free food. Thank you for that--makes my life a lot easier.

Very helpful at the store one of their new butchers even went out of his way to find the right price on some shrimp for me. Of course its really easy to be pleasant if you dont drive there. I walked over from my moms place at Marina Pacifica. The parking lot there is a nightmare.

This Ralphs is extremely clean, friendly, I was pleasantly surprised how the prices of the flowers and poted plants were not overly expensive. Like some other stores I go to. Will shop here more often...

Great store but the line for boreshead should be separate from the deli for fresh cooked food. Went here for lunch but could never order.

Got a bad Stake at my Ralphs today. Give me back tomorrow. Usually its excellent. But I will continue to be a loyal Ralphs customer.

This is the worst grocery store in the area. I will never shop there again after the way I was treated. The food is over priced. Costco has superior pricing than any Ralphs.

I particularly like going to either the Marina Pacifica Ralphs or the one located on Lakewood Blvd. near the traffic circle since they are the only 2 Ralphs that are open until 1 am close to me. And fyi, they are both located in Long Beach. So if u need any last minute items, and it is past midnight, you dont have a very large variety of stores to pick from. Happy shopping!

Decent produce and grocery products however 3 stars is for the crappy customer service. Rude tellers and employees that roll their eyes if youre getting something in an aisle that theyre filling, instead of helping you! I go in to get what I need, other than that Ill shop at other markets.

This Ralphs is like Whole Foods but with reasonable prices. Everyone is nice including customers.

Even though we have a Ralphs a block from our house, we drive 3 miles to get to this one. The selection of organic produce and other items from meats, seafood and bakery items is far superior to our local store. They stock a lot of similar items as the Gelsons around the corner but at a much lower price.

Overpriced compared to local stores especially in the deli and meat departments. Today, the $9/lb olive bar had lids that didnt fit the containers. Their solution was to put the container in bags but unfortunately those leaked (olive brine everywhere!) The self checkout machines are awful; they are overly sensitive about the item bagging area and the assistant takes forever to come and override.

Was many years customer of RALPHs Supermarket! Their professionalism is outstanding. Moved in 2017 February to San Bernardino, Ca - I miss my favorite store! Location is totally isolated and difficult to get nearby any Medical facility, school, church, entertainment etc. Sadly wasnt informed about location. Keep up the RALPHs store was the best.

Terrific bakery, terrific prepared foods, and very good wine selection. Personally, I would not do my regular grocery shopping at this Ralphs because the markup of the regular foods is much higher than the other chains for compatible quality. But for prepared goods, this Ralphs goes head to head with Getsons around the corner and Bristol Farms around the other corner• Only Ralphs competes with them on quality and price . If you are entertaining or having a special family meal and you want restaurant quality food without having to actually go to a restaurant, this is your spot.The variety and quality of the prepared foods is simply excellent . But it is offered at a lower price point than Getsons or Bristol Farms.

I want to say that the meat dept. at this Ralphs is a level up from any market chain Ive shopped. Wyell and his crew really know how to please. And if your looking for that something special just ask for Wyell and he will handle it personally...you definitely wont be disappointed.....

I swear they upgraded the store. I havent been there in a few months. I do like the changes, it feels kind of fancy now.

Beware of dishonest white female clerks (cashiers) here (ie karens).they think they are something special but are probably taking things home with them at the end of their shift.

For those looming for great meat seals, Sundays are it at this Ralphs. Best fruits, veg, and the folks are nice, too.

Pretty solid grocery store. The baskets by the door are frequently absent and cashiers bag groceries at the very end and not as they check you out, if they bag at all. Overall, a good place to get produce but a mediocre place to expect service.

This is a very, very, very high amenity supermarket. As long as its first in Southern California, I like that.The reason: At the location of 16 E. Live Oak Avenue in Arcadia, CA, my whole family (before Graydon Mallory) used to shop for groceries when we lived at 11125 Daneswood Drive in unincorporated area and the city of Arcadia, CA.

Wow! I got my groceries delivered to my boat! I used Click list on my phone and picked up my order from the stores own slip!

I usually shop at Ralphs on Del Amo in Long Beach but I have found a new location here since Ive been bringing my Grndtr to work in this area. I really like it here.

Pros: very attractive layout, lots of parking. Cons: poorly stocked of basics and/or hard to find.Small things like most brands of salsa are not found in the aisle that show chips & salsa but are instead located in the Latin American foods in the other side of the store in a shorter aisle shared with canned vegs (wheres the logic?). I came in for the Buy 5, pay 99 cents ad but 3 of the 5 items shown in the flyer were nowhere to be found even though I came in 2 days after the ad was mailed. Some items didnt even have a shelf space (so its never been there) and some were empty. Eggs on ad were not shown, no label showing them out of stock so very annoying. Baby formula section had tons of the same type but not the one I was looking for (easily found at CVS, Costco, Rite-Aid, etc) and all were locked up tighter than Fort Knox, so had to wait several minutes for someone to come to unlock. Various cheeses were spread out all over the refrigerated section, more like how theyre used rather than just having cheeses together. Poor selection of fresh ready-made salads compared to other Ralphs or Albertsons. Prices are higher than average stores but thats to be expected in that area. Sorry, Belmont Shore, but Im going to my regular Downey store where everything is stocked or placement makes sense.

Horrible experience. No one was at floral and I stood there for over a half hour and no one spoke to me. When I asked an employee she just said she couldn’t help and then left. Don’t go here for flowers.
