I don’t normally shop at this particular store but I was in the area and needed a few things. I can’t tell you how pleasant experience it was! The staff was so accommodating and pleasant. The shelves were actually stocked well & I found all I needed and more! From the time I pulled into the parking lot till I left I felt so welcome & taken care of! This is not always the way handicap customers are treated! Kudos to all at this location!!

My fault stater bros is still #1 the following isnt applicable.Used to be 5 star store, staff is great. Unfortunately I had to ditch about 150-200$ worth of grocery onto the floor cause they changed their bathrooms to employees only. I spend 60-90 minutes shopping Im going to go to one of the other dozen grocery stores that have managed to keep their restrooms handled.Stater bros just lost a 20 year customer been coming here since Luckys closed.

Always nice people, . Cake lady is great, always well stocked good cuts of meats. I wish I lived closer to this store but its kind of out of our way to go shopping here. If it was closer I would definitely shop here all the time

Hands down the best market in all surrounding areas! Shopped all over LA/OC county and without a doubt this market is the best. The leadership and the continuous hard work in this market is noticeable. The store is well run, fully stocked but without a doubt their customer comes first attention is well spread in the market. The cleanliness of the store is nothing more than amazing and hard work and a sense of ownership by every team member. The deli dept staff is very helpful and with a sense of urgency. The produce dept is stocked with fresh items throughout the day and their hardworking should not be over looked. The laughter and friendly service at the butcher area is a breath of fresh air. Many team members are always working to keep the the shelves fully stocked and easy to shop. And of course the team members at the registers that greet you with a smile and bag your items with great care. Thank you for creating a real family store in our community. This store should be a model for all stores alike.

Easy to shop. Helpful people. Easy in and out. Crowded today but still went pretty quick.Of the things I got today at the market were feta cheese and cottage cheese. I like to mix them together 3 parts cottage 1 part feta. Has a nice zing.

I absolutely love stater Brothers. This location in particular is extremely clean and always has plenty of parking. The fried chicken is delicious and the sushi rolls are a must pick up if youre in a rush. The staff is always super helpful and friendly.

Ive been shopping at Stater Bros. for years. This is a new store for me, and theyre living up to the standards Ive seen at other stores. Always clean and stocked well with a gently and helpful staff. Even during this panic outbreak, the store is clean and ordered. Theyre out of some things, but doing their best. The parking lot is big enough and its shared with other stores in the complex. There are cart return stalls in the lot that are easy to get to. This store makes the 6 mile drive, bypassing the other grocery stores, worth it.

Well known for their meats. Friendly, helpful staff. Prices generally lower than large big chain markets. Open every night until 11:00 pm.

You know, I’m going to leave an unpopular review. I honestly can not tell you of one time in which I have purchased meat from this location and not have had issues. Several times we got ill. Other times we purchased ground beef or steaks, opened them same day, and have found it to be dried out. Today, I purchased 93% lean meat, brought it home, opened it, and the entire center was dried out and brown, as if someone wrapped fresh meat around old meat. Cooked it up anyway for the dog and we will see. Other food selections seem to be lower quality options, which is odd as their wine selection is pretty darn good! I would not recommend this location for meat, veggies, or dairy. If you need cans of Shasta and cheese curls, this is your place. Anything else, no thanks.

I was so surprised when a Deli attendance ignored me while I was standing there waiting at 7:45 pm on 5/13/21 and he just walked to an older white man who just got there. I just looked at both of them when the older white guy came to me and said dont think I cut you off! I said if you didnt cut me off then why are you asking me. And I said you are at fault but the employee is guilty because. he saw me waiting but didnt care and helped the white guy. That is unacceptable.Hferasati

Best meat dept. in my neighborhood.Speedy lines gets you checked out quickly, and this makes shopping for groceries more enjoyable if that possible.

I really like going to the Stater Brothers when I need to run a lot of errands only because there are three different banks nearby theres a Wells Fargo across the street theres a Chase kitty corner to the Stater Brothers and across the street theres a Bank of America so theres a lot of different things around and inside Stater Brothers there is a Schools First ATM. Stater Brothers has a very busy parking lot so when you do Park just know that the entrance that is open to Stater Brothers is actually on the South Side not the north side the north side is closed for the moment. Theres a lot of different eateries nearby and Dollar Tree a lot of people love Dollar Tree. Anyway the location is great and of course theres a McDonalds on the corner always a must if you have little kids lol. But Stater Brothers has sushi and they also have a variety of cut up fresh fruit I think thats wonderful I love fresh fruit and vegetables so they have a really good selection. Not to mention the meat department the meat department is great. Their meat is always very fresh.

Your neighborhood grocery store to the max...Since the rebuild the inside is really nice. New floors, fresh fruit section, all is great but where Stater’s excels is their meat department. Such great cuts of meat for cheap! Look for their deals right after Christmas because you may be able to get Prime Rib for a great price. They removed the Schools First so don’t go in looking for a credit union anymore! Only downside...prices have gone up since the rebrand

I love my local stater brothers but I am a little upset that a couple of the regular things I buy are no longer being found there. Can someone please discuss this with me? I am looking for these two items:1. Culinary Tours kettle cooked Rendang Curry peanuts2. Old El Paso creamy salsa verde sauce

TY my go to for what made u famous wonderful butchers great meat counter

Around 4pm today, Oct. 8th, I bought 1lb of sliced cheese at the Cleo and Leo stand. The young man, around 57, that was working the cheese slicer was phenomenal, without me asking, he separated every slice of cheese with paper so they wouldnt stick and very neatly piled them up for me. Never before has someone been so careful with my order. Great service, I hope it will continue!

Went there instead of my smal local Stater Brothers. Wanted to buy Calif rolls etc. Nice choices, but store was getting very crowded & people werent distancing & a big run on toilet paper & paper towels, empty shelf. Stick with my local store from now on

You know, its a grocery store. With carts and veggies and frozen stuff. Nothing is too offensive or egregious. Stater Brothers is the stable, boring man you marry after youve had your young fun with Trader Joes, dumped Whole Foods because you learned it only acted Bohemian to get chicks and got sick of Vons being so clingy. And, you know, youre too good for Food 4 Less. Even if youll never say it out loud.

The Stater Brothers at which I shop is a relatively small community grocery store. But here we are, the day before the Super Bowl, and every single checker line was open and the shelves were stocked. They had someone in produce busily cutting fresh fruit for people to take for the game tomorrow and the sushi chef was busy putting platters together.I like this store and one of the reasons I like this store is because years ago when there was a grocery store employees strike, Stater Brothers came to an agreement with the Union early and once they did they added extra checkers to handle the additional shoppers like me who were coming in because they didnt want to cross a picket line.On many items their prices are lower and the service seems to always be outstanding. I highly recommend this Stater Brothers.

After shopping at this location over the past few months our family have decided to no longer shop anywhere else. Clean presentation across all sections of the market. Staff is always on spot and not hiding. Quality of fresh foods and meats matches price. Best part is the dynamic offering of multiple cultural flavors. Highly recommend.

My husband and I really like Stater Bros Markets and have been going for years. It is such a shame there isnt one near downtown Long Beach maybe where Walmart use to be. They have better selection, better produce (which is impossible to find over the past five + years outside of a Farmers Market), nice meat selection and are always stocked well and clean. Because of the distance, we do one large shopping once per month and buy staple items from local stores. If they were in DT Long Beach, they would be our only store.

Always a pleasant experience. Employees are warm and friendly. But management I could not believe how fast they are willing to jump onto a register or help out bagging groceries. No task to small or beneath them. Awesome customer service and employees.

I like several things about Stater Bros., located on Spring St., at Palos Verdes.First, the day manager is Alfonso C., a very hard working, very friendly and professional leader. He sets a very good example, in my opinion, so I always try to say hi to him. Good guy!Second, this store has several things about it that make it more attractive than some other places, such as an actual butcher department, which offers really nice cuts.It also has a deli department that offers some excellent fried chicken, among other things. Lastly, there is a well lit parking lot and a security guard on premises, regularly, which makes you feel a little bit safer than a place without these two things.Finally, I like that the store offers clean aisles, two well-maintained bathrooms, and plenty of staff to bag groceries, clean spills, and collect carts.True, Stater Bros. is a little more expensive than other stores. They also do not offer a lot of reduced price items, or have really great sales, compared to other stores, in my humble opinion.That said, there is an overall, positive energy at this location, compared to the vibe at the Ralphs at Marina Pacifica or the Vons at Atherton Plaza.Therefore, I give this store a solid recommendation.

I have been coming here for years and never an issue, except from one butcher. A heavy set Hispanic lady with glasses this last visit. She was with another employee talking to another customer that was up to the glass (not behind the blue line). I waited for a few minutes listening to their conversation from a safe distance. Thy were not even talking about meat, just talking about current events. She could clearly see other customers were waiting an just ignored myself and others. I wave Hi to her and she became upset, apparently she was being put out to do her job. This became more evident as she walked over to the area I was standing and immediately said, yea I can see you there, rudely. I attempted to ask a question pertaining to the meat on display. She immediately shut me down and said get behind the line in an angry voice.( I was standing on the blue line). I stepped back looked over and the other customer was still up to the glass. I stated the obvious, that we should all be treated equally and she became more upset but did not address the other customer with the same demand she gave me. I again attempted to ask the simple question and she again wanted to argue. I explained to her i only had a simple question and she said she didnt have to do anything she didnt want to. I asked for a manager to help and she had a fit and stormed off like a child. Two other employees came over and asked which one of them I wanted to help me? This made me feel like they were blaming me for her intolerable attitude. I said anyone. Just please treat all the client the same.One of them answered the question and filled my order. I walked by several times after and during my shopping and not till 10 minutes later when the other customer was still there talking to the employees, did they ask him to move back to the line the lat time I walked by. I told my wife about my experience and said she had had issues with the same person I described in the past. Stater Brothers, I like shopping here, dont make one exceptionally bad employee ruin your business!

The friendliest market in America. The meat department assisted me with cutting a roast without making faces or excuses why they shouldnt. Most markets dont want the hassle, like Ralphs Vons Albertsons. The young lady who helped me at the deli was also super friendly. Thank you. Same with checkout clerks. I drove from San Pedro and it was well worth the drive

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! There was a couple of times when I went in that the employees where drunk (I could smell the alcohol on their breath). Thhey where saying some really inappropriate things around small children. Any place that allows people to show up clearly intoxicated and smelling of alcohol isnt a place to bring your family.

One of our favorite markets. They have good selection and good prices. They also have a Sushi bar where they make sushi there that is not bad. Can get busy and they restock on Sundays so thats usually a better day to go than Saturday
