I enjoy talking to May and perusing her upcycled, vintage, and handmade items in her shop at Long Beach. I bought items from myself and for others the other day. When Im in the neighborhood, I always visit. Lovely to support a Filipinx business.

I love the vibe in the store - welcoming, kind and serene. The quality in Mays work is beautiful. I love love love her jewelry work. Pieces are unique, quality tone and materials for surprisingly good prices. I rarely ever walk out empty handed.

Not only is this a shop filled with all sorts of wondrous items, it is is also a place of community, love, and great vibes. May and Ty are real cornerstones of the Long Beach community and they bring in and create some amazing events (check in store, IG, or fb to see what’s coming up!). They also support all sorts of local vendors from anandamide chocolate to body care, reusable items, art, and cards.But the heart of the store are May’s creations: jewelry and upcycled clothing. Her jewelry speaks for itself. Almost everyone I know owns at least one piece, and you will see people around town wearing it and we all know exactly who made it. And the clothes are so much fun. Make sure you have some time to go to this store so you can marvel at each item as you pass.This is one of the few places I make sure to take every out of town visitor because it is such a special place.
