Theres one particular personnel that has issues, and I believe that she brings it to work. Sometimes this person can be extremely rude n unpleasant.I will avoid if she is working most times

No problems get in get out simple and for them dealing with all the dif people they deal with I dont blame them for having a bad attitude once in a while !?!? Remember we get to leave they have to stay and deal with what ever walks in the door.

When you run a liquor store across the street from the LB Police West Division, youd better have your ducks in a row and your eyes dotted. Anchor liquor does a good job at balancing the people who are desperate for a drink and those who are mentally comfortable counting the number of Red Vines in each package. In other words, the staff is able to be very human when dealing with stressful situations. The selection of hard spirits is impressive - especially high end tequilas. There is a little cat food a little laundry soap, a little Little Debbies... All in all, its a cool place to pick up your favorite brew.

Having a hard time with a couple of their cashiers. Every time I go there they give me a hard time.

It takes a certain type of liquor store owner to have his store less than 150 feet from a Police Department. This store does fine because it adheres to all the rules that kinda-occasionally get overlooked elsewhere. The staff is civil - often curt, but they dont discriminate - theyre that way to everyone. At least twice in the past 2 years, I have heard staff telling a customer that they are not going to sell them liquor because of seeing them intoxicated earlier in the day. That shows me they are aware of the their surroundings and their customers. The prices are what youd expect at a convenience store - This is a not the place to buy Pampers or Motor Oil. Its clean, well at least stocked with the usual spirits and a few off beat ones that look interesting.

Anchor liquor make the pandemic better

During the day the owner works the counter and is ALWAYS on the phone. Whoever hes talking to is more important to him than his customers who he completely ignores except long enough to take their money. The refrigerated items are always spoiled, out of date, filthy refrigerators. Its just a place to buy anything that cant spoil, like a soda and bag of chips.

They have just about everything ..people friendly

Stop in almost every day staff are very nice. Not there to buy alcohol. But always great for snacks and small toys for the kids.

You can find the owner every morning hes a cool guy for the most part just dont piss him off. Just kidding my friend lol were cool.

Awful place over priced beer cigarettes everything. Bad service. They do not carry any diet sodas at all . Not to much of anything at all not much of a selection of anything. They need to go to customer service classes they have know idea how to treat someone.

The guy working behind the counter must have been racist against black people. The guy in front of me was Hispanic and he asked him did he want a bag and the guy replied yes and he politely bagged his purchase. When I made it to the counter with my purchase and was asked if I wanted a bag he threw my bag on the counter top and I had to bag my own product. That was poor customer service and very disrespectful!!!!!!

They are a rascist store. If your not Mexican you may feel uncomfortable. They speak Spanish in front of you to other mexican customers. Dont go there. I dont anymore. Dont support that type of crap in your community.
