This is the most complete paint store I have seen in years. Great staff . Highly recommend to painters. Including spray equipment and rental.

The Worst customer service weve ever had. I wouldnt recommend Smith Paint to any contractors or workers in the Long Beach area. The management is over ran by knowledge less employees with bad attitude and lack any customer service skills.

They have a great selection of paint, painting supplies, airless sprayers and repair of sprayers. They have really great prices. If you go in ask for George. I really like having a large paint store not a small section in a large warehouse store. Smith Paints employees are knowledgeable and eager to help. They have everything for the diy guy to pros.

This is where you can find the stuff you cant find on the other paint stores.

Lacquer tinting is not good at all with these people. Why use a clear tint base with a color grey. So stupid. White specks all over. The Hispanic guy told me to use a t shirt to strain. Try to get an answer after taking the paint back is lame. Making comments like I know youve seen everything When I am trying to paint a furniture piece thats worth thousands is not professional at all. I mixed my own grey color with a white tint base and I didnt have to use a t shirt to strain. Do not get your lacquer tinted at this place. Very unprofessional.

First time at this paint store. Great customer service! Only gripe is no prices listed on anything, but otherwise a good experience. Will likely be back.

Always great service, always helpful staff, from early morning to late afternoon. You may find you have to come back for your mixed paint, if theyre busy, but when you do it will be done right.If you youre in a hurry and dont care about quality, theres cheaper options. I scrolled through some of the negatives here and its laughable; they want a half hour tutorial about some obscure pigment they saw on Pinterest or YouTube, and Smith Paint is a store, not a public library. Ive dealt with this company off and on (Im not a professional painter) for some 30 years, and theyve always answered sensible questions.Last best place for oil based paint in the LBC. Sold by the quart to minimize solvent evaporation pollution. If you care about your woodwork, this is where you need to go.

Dont bother, little businesses with bad attitudes like this are the reason home depot and lowes do so well. Called in looking for a part and the guy hung up on me after telling me he wouldnt have my part in stock because I bought the spayer at home depot. The part number is the same on all models smart guy. Wont be spending my money there. Poor old dude doesnt realize he is killing his chances at taking some of those customers back by actually giving them a service.

Skip Home Depot.. This place is so much better.

Called twice and no answer. Looked up their hours and it was 6:30AM - 5pm. It is 9:46 AM righ tnow. No answer. Ive been on the phone - letting it ring for about 10 minutes and still no answer. Dont call.
