Some of the worst bagels Ive ever had in the Northeast. You guys should walk into a real bagel bakery, buy a dozen of each kind and figure out how to make a good bagel that your customers will enjoy. I hate to be so harsh but there was an arrogance that you all had, which needs to turn into humility. You need to show appreciation when you see someone tip because being recognized feel good and the tipper will only want to give you a nicer tip the next time. SAY THANK YOU!

Not the best bagels but not too bad. Missing that fluffiness that you want in a NJ bagel.(Also oats on an everything bagel threw me off)

I am extremely disappointed with the effort put into the food here. I’ve been sitting outside for almost 30 minutes now and my order was supposed to be ready when i got here... Very disappointing was super excited to try this place out.

Pricey, but great breakfast sandwiches

You want to eat hair? Eat here. I ordered two bagels, first of all the complete order was wrong and the worst when we bit into it there was a long blonde hair that we had to pull out of our mouth. Non of the employees wear hair protection or gloves to handle the food, sanitation should close this restaurant for such a bad food handling. You know what it feels like biting into a bagel and have to pull a hair out of your mouth? Ew! Never again. Disgusting.

Stop here for breakfast, very nice place, very clean. I ordered a Turkey bacon, egg, & cheese on a garlic bagel, very tasty. Lots of cool historic photos on the walls of long branch, sea bright, Monmouth beach just to name a few. They have there own merchandise for sale. They have a nice menu, there lunches look really good. I will have to make a trip soon.

These are the best bagels the Jersey Shore has!! Omg the sandwiches are amazing and extremely filling. They put a good enough amount of meat in the sandwich so it’s not impulsive!! The staff run this place well and have no complaints! It can be expensive but they are so worth it! Go there and you will enjoy it!!

The Bagel Guys are awesome! We frequently order delivery but the new store is great for dinning in. The orders are always accurate and arrive quickly! The food is fresh and the customer service is top notch. Highly recommend!

I have visited this establishment several times, and keep trying to give them another chance. Not sure why I torture myself. I will say that their Avacado sandwich is very good the time that it take to get it can range from 10-15 minutes even if your the only one in the store. Now onto the bagels, first time I had a bagel thought it was pretty good not great but decent. The last time I was there well I ordered a salt bagel with scallion cream cheese. When I got to work and opened the wrapper I found regular cream cheese not scallion. Fine oh well at least they both cost the same, but when I bit into the bagel it was beyond stale. Not sure if it was left over from the day before, but there was nothing fresh about it. Maybe thats why they are always asking if I want it toasted to give it some life. I really like having a bagel place right near me now if they could only make bagels.

Just finished an amazing Buffalo Chicken bowl. It was great. Treat yourself to a Breakfast wrap also. All the meals are first rate!

Inexpensive and good deli, with decent bagels and muffins. They also serve lunch or brunch. Prices are reasonable.

Pricing is misleading. When you order a breakfast sandwich or wrap, the price is for the contents of the sandwich/wrap and does not include the additional $1.40 for the hard roll or wrap. Wish they would provide full pricing for the described item you are ordering without having to read the fine print. I will say, the staff work their butts off and are very friendly & polite.

The breakfast here is delicious. I ordered a pork roll, egg, and cheese sandwich with a side of bacon and hash browns. It was really good.

Im from the NYC area, and while working in Long Branch yesterday stopped in with a few co-workers for a quick coffee break... The staff was certainly pleasant enough, but the order definitely took too long and the very simple onion bagel with butter that I had was merely mediocre at best. Id say the place has potential, but from what Im reading on here the owners response to criticism is going to hold him back from ever reaching that potential. The place would never survive in Brooklyn / Staten Island with the slooooow service and mediocre bagels...

Really like this place! I had the traditional pork roll w/ egg & cheese, salt, pepper, ketchup, on a poppy seed bagel. One of the guys that works here lives in my building. He has mentioned it before to me. I finally went & realized that this place tends to be a gold mine in the mornings & on the weekends.I was planning on another bagel for my girlfriend but the line was too long by the time I finished my breakfast. This place is very organized.

Person was extremely disrespectful I called to complain about burnt sandwich and the guy said wasnt his problem and when I told him that that isnt rite he hung up on me I called back and he had the odacis to tell me that I won myself a band for life cause they burnt my and my fathers sandwich what a way to talk to someone especially when I was willing to give them my money I will NEVER RECOMMEND MY FA.ILY AND FRIENDS TO THIS PLACE.

Nice place, especially if youre hungry, also provides a nice atmosphere if youre a writer. Employees are hospitable and quiet....i liked that part.

It was very nice, the bagels were a bit hard but it could be because it was 1130. Service was nice but it was warm in the dining area.I recommend this place.

I moved to Florida after attending MU and miss Bagel Guys at least once a week. Any time someone I know is remotely in the area, I recommend they go here. Nostalgia helps, but the hangover special will forever be one of my favorite meals!!

Always a smile from a friendly employee, even when there is a serious crowd there, and there is often because the food is good. Potions are large and delicious. There is dining inside and out (in good weather) and they are literally 1 block from the beach. The owners are often there and always have something nice to say to their customers.Try it...I feel sure youll be pleased you did.

We called in our order, told the appropriate price and time to pickup or order. We get there and I went to the counter to say name. (The woman was very nice with everybody.) She told me she couldnt find it. Young guy also nice looked at slips and orders with negative results. Both apologized and then she started to take down my order and told me 20 minutes. I declined and thanked her anyway. We will never know what happened to the garlic bagel and corn muffin.

Not recommended

I have to admit I was a little concerned, given the passionately negative reviews; but the first bagel place we went to had closed early, so we didnt have too many options. I ordered a bagel with lox and cream cheese and it was very good. The bagel was lightly toasted, exactly as I requested. I asked for not too much cream cheese and thats what I got - enough to cut the saltiness of the lox, but not so much that gobs of it dripped over the sides. (I hate that.) The bagel was fresh, even though it was mid-day. The service was friendly and prompt.

Service fine. Bacon Egg and cheese on sesame bagel? Overpriced and at best mediocre. Asked for extra crispy bacon ? Got some mushy bacon that had a ketchup taste? Didnt ask for ketchup?

If you buy a Breakfast sandwich they charge you almost 2.00 extra for a hard roll. The coffee cups are cheap and leak at the bottom if coffee is very hot, and the tops don’t always stay on the cup so watch out for hot coffee spilling on you. After being charged almost 30.00 for two sandwiches and two coffees something must be said. Besides the bagels are only average and sometimes super doughy. Very disappointing.

Bagel Guys is a fantastic establishment. The workers, owners, and food alike are great. Highly recommend their Pork roll egg and cheese or their vast selection of Lunch/Dinner Bowls. BGD caters to Monmouth University students selflessly, creating a nice atmosphere and discounts too. Anyone on here complaining about wait time or their staff are dead wrong. People need to realize that a ton of their business is done through deliveries, just because no ones there in store doesn’t mean they aren’t busy. #FreeKevinZ

Ordered for delivery & one of my items was wrong. Called back to let them know & they said theyd send someone back with the correct item. Still waiting for it 6 hours later.

Seemed like a pretty good place. I unfortunately dont think the butter was good. It was strange and had the consistency of mashed potatoes. I think it was going bad or something. But if it werent for that butter on my bagel it would have been a great experience.

The bagels here are not made on-site; they have them delivered, and it shows. The taste of everything is just off. Thats all I can say about this place: its just off.

I go here every week for breakfast. they play good music and have amazing bagels and breakfast sandwich. They have so many breakfast options and healthy options as well.

Hate giving bad reviews. No customers in the restraunt but I still waited 30 mins for my sandwich after calling it in for pickup, which they said was almost done when I got there. Clearly was never started.

SadTom ManzoI want to share my terrible experience I had today at Bagel Guys Deli on Brighton ave in Long Branch.It was my first visit to the store since their relocation.At approximately 2:15 pm I entered the store and observed only two customers in the deli having salads.I ordered a simple tuna on a toasted bagel with tomato.At least 20 minutes later I found myself still waiting for the sandwich.Can you believe it??I approached the counter and asked the young lady working what the status of the sandwich.She advised that the toaster was slow which caused the delay.One would think a new commerical eatery would be able to accommodate such an order timely.A slow toaster.....really?At the same time a very unprofessional employee working at the grill approached me and began defending the delay. I stopped him from speaking to me in his tone and asked the young lady for a refund.The owner Chris appeared and began scolding me for dismissing his employee.I emphatically advised him that his employee was disrespectful and at that point he gave me a refund and told me our conversation was over and didnt know why I was still in his store.Honestly, I was shocked at his lack of customer service.This young man has alot to learn about customer relations.He is the ultimate definition of entitlement.I will never again be a customer of Bagel Guys under any future circumstance.No customer should be treated so poorly and be subjected to what happened to me today.I see a tremendous amount of negative reviews about Bagel Guys on Google.Maybe Chris should rename his business from Bagel Guys Deli to Bagel Boys Deli because he has alot of growing up to do.Sad!Ps. Great healthy options on their menu. I work nearby and get the turkey bacon wrap very often.

They cant get it right... ordered a named sandwich, and they got it wrong! No roasted peppers, no fresh mozzarella, just a piece of tomato and a very small amount of chicken! They called it a panini but it was just a big club roll. The sandwich was all bread for $8.50! What a rip off!

The breakfast sandwiches are the best Ive had, everything is really fresh and clean in the place. Not to mention they deliver coffee too, which is a freaking godsend.
