Love this place absolutely excellent customer service they gave me a couple dollars when I was short very generous store and very generous employees reminds me of my store

This grocery store has a large selection of kosher food, and has an extensive kosher takeout section under rabbinical (jshor) supervision.Customer service is quite good. I have rarely had to wait more than a few minutes to check out. There is a large parking lot. The store is centrally located in Long Branch.

I love that I can get in and out of here quickly as the store is on the small side. They pack a lot into a small space and it is always clean. But the selection can sometimes be limited and the check out people can be a little stern.

This place was good but they are slipping. They never have a boneless wings anymore....no sushi. Never stocked. No self checkout. Freehold is much better!

This stop n shop doesnt give you some of the sale prices that are advertised. It is very expensive here. The staff is nice though.

I love the fact they have products f4om different countries thinking about people from arround the world.

I first want to say that overall this place does a fairly good job at making sure everything is properly stocked, organized and cleaned. From time to time, products are out, but it isnt an issue for me. As far as the customer service goes, there are good and bad apples everywhere. I like your store associate Amy she is a pleasure to talk to and is always kind. However, there is one man at night who handles the stocking it seems like who lacks courtesy and seems very miserable. I will say this though, it is a shame that Stop & Shop provides its employees with a 5% discount. I just talked with a sweet lady who was doing her shopping tonight who happens to work here and I just feel that its off putting. I dont know the ins and outs of working here, but I will say that in order to keep good natured employees, you need to provide a good incentive. I just think 5% is way too low as a discount to give to those who work here. The employees I always see do work their tails off and should have something to look forward to.

Stop and shop the best. They have everything you can think off. Very spacious, shelfs are well organized.

Not fully stocked enough. Theres always a reason I have to take extra time to run to Shop Rite for items theyre out of 🥺

It is more expensive than Shoprite which is in the next town over. They have a better meat section though.

The place was good, everything is fresh and good, But the one cashier on duty(9/13/21) was so so so rude!not friendly!she has short hair looks like jew at counter 3 around 10am atthis morning, Impatients not manner!I have never seen such a rude cashier!!!Bad experience!

Overpriced and understocked. If youre going to put items on sale, then order enough so that more than 10 people can actually get the sale price!!

I’m in stop and shop Everytime this nice great girl she works in the Deil part. Everytime she’s away getting attack but this mean customers they are always mean to here. She does her best here doing what she doing. Like just know I was just in today. And this mean man was so mean to her I had to say something to him. Like this nice girl is doing her best here. Her name in the Deil is Juliette. Tell her that she is doing great job on everything she does. You guys are lucky to have her in your store.

I love stop and shop because it’s close to my home, but I find it to be pricey on certain items. Otherwise the staff is very nice and accommodating.

Today is the last day I will be shopping here. The cashiers are always friendly with good attitudes, but I am sick and tired of witnessing Tina, one of the managers treat employees and customers alike poorly. Every time I go to Stop and Shop I have the awkward experience of being too close to a nasty encounter between her and employees. I hate seeing this cold woman treat the workers like this, as they are young and the positive aspect of my visits. I have also seen Tina treat customers with utter disrespect. Do something about this!

This store is very well run despite its tight layout. It’s a hidden convenience right here in Long Branch.The staff is very well trained and helpful.Perhaps the person at the customer service desk today (6/9/20) just before 5 PM was having a bad day, but she certainly does not have the temperament for greeting customers and solving problems. Training might benefit her.But her attitude is unusual among associates at this store so we will look forward to coming back hopeful without any issues that put us in her sights.

It is spacious, everything is in order. The staffs are helpful, they seem to have answers to every question put to them. I will for sure recommend it to friends and family.

I enjoy the variety of items available at this store, especially their Kosher options. The prices are also generally fair, with frequent opportunities for deals like sales or coupons. Due to current health events, you are discouraged from bringing reusable bags, however.

They do NOT enforce state mandated Mask requirements. The summer crowd is confrontational with employees when asked to put their mask on. At least one of the cashier pushes her own agenda regarding masks, doesnt request customers to pull mask up...and when I mentioned the people in front of me with masks ALL the way down ...she said whats the problem, do you have any underlying health issues? I replied I dont know, so dont want to take any risks she said Come on...you would know...I know I dont have any Thanks Cashier Karen! this happened 07/05/2020

Its small and old but its very clean and well organised, I had no problem finding the items on my list.

Pretty good grocery store but kind of small or just lacks some options that I find at other grocery stores. Has a decent sized kosher section and deli. Usually friendly and helpful staff.

Smallest Stop & Shop I have ever been in. I have shopped in several, from here to Franklin Park (One of the best.) Went to the frozen Pizza section and saw the smallest selection possible. This store was even difficult to enter and leave. One small store.

Love The Bakery At Stop & Shop & the great Kosher Deli!

This is a good store to shop at when there is a sale and you just need to pick up a few things. Some stuff is overpriced and some of the staff are less than helpful and sometimes rude but then you also have the staff that will go out of their way to help you and are happy. Im torn when it comes to this food store because Ive been shopping here since it opened but something has changed. Its just not the same as it was a year ago.

3rd stop and shop I went to for Coin star and all 3 were too full to use. EMPTY THE Damn Machines

Always consistent. Never out of my usual products. I couldn’t find something one time and the cashier walked me right to it instead of telling me where it was. Great customer service.

Smaller store but not too busy which is nice.

Today I visited the West End location. The gentlemen in the aisles from the stocking team went above and beyond to help me out looking for an item. 5 star service. But the lone cashier on duty ( 3/21/19 7am) was not friendly and snippy regarding the frequent shopper card. The same negative effort used on her part could have went to encouraging me to sign up for a new card.

Its like shopping with a bunch of human sized ants. Some of the rudest people ive ever encountered has been in this store. If it wasnt so close to my home and I wasnt disabled wouldnt ever go there.

As Stop-Shops go this one is not the best or the worst. I found what I was looking for and one employee was very helpful, although he talked about the Yankees way too much. Their selection is pretty good and somewhat tailored for the area. Do not go on Fridays as part of the community they serve shops heavily there on that day and the lines are long. Otherwise its ok if your location choice is limited.

Not the cheapest supermarket, but it is really good.

Hate this place...Always seems dirty and very few high end selections

This medium sized grocery store has a fairly good selection for its size. Their prices tend to be more expensive than Shop Rite and other price competitive chains. The deli, bakery and produce departments are the highlight of this store. Update: Stop & Shop has been putting on some VERY good sales lately, especially in their meat and produce departments. Also keep an eye out for the deals outside of the store in their garden department. Increasing their rating from 3 to 4 stars.

Your foods were amazing

Gary, Angie, and Tawana are absolutely phenomenal. They always have a smile on their face and theyre always extremely helpful. I pretty much do all of my shopping at Stop & Shop, but they dont always have everything that I need.

Never had a pleasant encounter with any of the cashiers. Never have a smile on their face, non genuine, and most are too distracted by texting on their cell phones. I have purchased produce here that has gone bad within days of purchasing. Well, thats if they even have their produce section stocked. Make sure to check dates on frozen food, I have purchased expired frozen items before. Its unfortunate this store is poorly managed.

Honestly not one of the best grocery stores in the area. Lacking selection of meats especially pork and lamb. Half-hearted produce department and although they have public restrooms, Penn station restrooms seem cleaner. If this is how you treat your restroom what other corners are you cutting.Now the good thing is acoustic apartment very clean orderly and almost fully separate from the rest of the store. Along the same lines is the fishmonger. Clean and well prepared

I love stop and shop store because this store had speaker outside where you can hear the music outside the parking lot. There the best, It can make you feel passion while shopping in the store and also the store are nice and clean and well organized.

Second time I experience racism at this place by the same customer service lady first time she thru my money on the counter and didn’t bagged my items just because I was speaking Spanish.. today again sent my daughter to a crowded line for one soda but took the ppl behind my daughter that were white. After being confronted still refused to charge the soda until my daughter refused to leave the line and didn’t want to bagged her item!!!!

Had store coupons from another Stop and Shop store and this location didnt carry two of the items. One of the store coupons I had was for Stouffers Frozen dinners and item was also on sale today. Store wasnt crowded and cashier was efficient and pleasant.

Their kosher department is excellent. The produce department needs work. Stuff is hard to find and the layout is difficult to maneuver in.

Their produce isnt great, but theyre usually pretty well stocked and the prices are good.

No manager ever will respond to my issue. This store is THE WORST. The only good worker they have is Yoli. They have horrendous management which is most likely why the staff gets worse with each visit. The manager never cares if theres an issue. The young bigger guy sucks. The older white lady with blonde hair is lazy. The cahsier with the lazy eye is the rudest person ever. Now you have a bunch of kids at the registers and they are out of control. Always talking about random stuff, mostly inappropriate. Very uncomfortable as a patron. Literally running around the registers, flirting, on their phones, so bad. I wrote an email because I bought a store made pepperoni stromboli and got home and cooked it and inside was ham. And it was old, bad looking ham too. It was $8 and went right in the trash. I want my money back. But of course why would I get an answer?! I have photos too.
