Close to Perfect!We came here with our grandsons and furry family member after a bike ride and dined on their patio. Our waitress was efficient, accommodating and friendly. Her recommendations were perfect. Our grandsons had the garlic cheese flatbreads and we ended up doubling the order. My husband had the Cuban and we shared a most delicious fondue! I tried a cucumber cocktail which was light and refreshing. To end our meal we shared a Mount Saint Helens Crunch and now I’m unable to move. Fabulous service, food and beverages. I need to dock 1/2 of a star (not reflected in my review) due to location. As grateful as we were to have outdoor, patio dining to accommodate our companion animal, it was rather noisy due to traffic. If you’re sensitive to noise, dine inside.

Great place for delicious food! Costumer service was welcoming and knowledgeable. We ate outside on a nice sunny day and had a wonderful time. This definitely is a little hidden gem in Longview.

I got the margherita pizza and the fondue. I wanted the seafood fondue but they did not have it available. The pizza was yummy. The fondue was just cheesy creamy yummy goodness! A bit pricey I got it to go because the atmosphere is really snobby

Arguably one of the best restaurants in town. I can’t comment on the drinks as I don’t drink, but the food is great! They use high quality ingredients and do traditional dishes with a fun twist. It has a “chick vibe,” so this may be a good place to go with the girls and gab. That being said, I go with my husband and he enjoys it too. We’ve especially enjoyed the wrap, steak sandwich, and fondue. The outside has fun firepit tables and the inside is a bar and grill with an upbeat citified flavor. Fun place for our small town!

This is a local institution owned by the same owner as the Triangle Tavern, IIRC. Its named after the location, because its right next to these mortgage offices at 842 WA way. If they really wanted to name the place after the most prominent adjacent business model then it would be called fast food because of the Wendys right next to it.Atmosphere 7/10: The place is conspicuously bougie, and has a big old propane fire pit to warm you outside if inside is full like it was when I went, but eating and drinking outside in the wind while cars and trucks thunder across Washington way isnt super warm if you dressed for the sunny day youd been out for. Maybe a me problem, maybe just like kind of a bad location, but one that provides the entire conceit of their bar as well, so not one they want to change soon.Food 7/10: The $18 fondue is legitimately rather boozy, and if you like the taste of white wine with gruyere then you should go for it. I powered though an entire fondue because bae decided she didnt like the wine and cheese combo.They make so many plates of fondue that the cheese-absorbing bread and apple and celery seems to be rather cheap which is a shame, because the cheese they use is so good. Their desserts arent worth what they charge for them, and you might be able to make many of them at home. But they are still tasty. Havent tried any of the rest of the menu, but I hear it is good, but I also heard the fondue here was good, so YMMV.Drinks 8/10: I have a policy of not ordering anything that I could easily make myself with a trip to a liquor store and grocery store or just a grocery store even, here in WA, but The Office 842 does indeed have several drinks on the menu that are delicious as heck and involve too much stuff for you to want to have the ability to recreate them, and one drink that they wont even tell you the recipe for, so dont ask. That is actually my fave, the pear passiontini. Overall its a nice, bougie bar! Well drinks are $4.50. happy hour beers are $4. You are paying for the ambiance and inside the place is pretty nice. They even have a business in the morning serving espresso drinks before they transition over to mostly alcohol with some coffee/booze cocktails in the evening. In theory one could eat every meal of the day and drink every drink of the day there, if one could afford it.Service 10/10: the staff know whats up and how to manage a busy house and were very professional. They even tried to re-light our fondue torch when it went out. Respect. They handled everything like champs. Go here for strong drinks, priced accordingly, and good service.

Hands Down Bomb Digity!My first time today coming into town.We had the Seared Ahi as an appetizer.(Amazing!)2 Love drops and 2 margaritas.Sitting outside with a table fire pits.(gas)Entree was Seafood Fondue.Another great Presentation and So Entirely Delicous!!Our waitress was Carmen.Thank you Carmen and the Amazing Chefs that took care of us! 👍

Got there after 10 pm on a Friday evening. It was a bit loud. Food smells were great. The food was very good. Took pictures of the drink menu because I thought some looked quite tasty & I dont live here to try them.

Didnt like that 2 of the waitresses wore tank tops. Not appropriate when food is served.

They are a Lounge, Restaurant, Cafe and craft beer establishment. What a wonderful mutlipurpose business. There mixed drinks looked well crafted and there food was fantastic. The french onion soup was really good.

The Office is my favorite place to go in Longview. I love the people. I love the hand crafted cocktails, the food and the atmosphere. Their beverage innovation is keen and their spunk in service is killer. Not too shabby for a lil loggin town.

Food was awesome! Excellent wedge salads. Service was subpar, felt like we were being ignored most of the time. I dont like the fact that I have to use my phone to look up the menu via QR code, but i get it. Very few options to choose from on the menu. Also, very loud background music it makes a conversation nearly impossible.

The Cuba sandwich was ok. It had way too much mustard so I really didnt know what other flavor it could have. The salad was exceptionally delicious and so was the Dublin Donkey drink. Too top it off, as we are walking out of the restaurant, we feel what is like a cold wet breeze and someone is power washing the drive thru 🤦‍♀️ seriously 5:37 pm? Wow! I guess.

Food was really good and service was nice up until right before we left. I met with a friend that I havent seen in years and she chose this restaurant. We finished our food and headed outside to sit by the fire. Eventually the waitress came out to tell us that business will be picking up and she wants there to be room for them (even though there was at least 4-5 outside tables available and not being used). My friend was actually going to order a drink because it was happy hour and decided not to because we felt like we were being pushed out. I get it if it were actually busy but it wasnt. I felt like we paid enough to be allowed to sit and enjoy our time and chat for a bit.

The office bravely holds on... for how long I cant say against rising prices, due just as much to minimum wage increases as Covid-19.Still by far the best mixed drinks in town. And still, the food is uniformly delicious and well-prepared.

They food, drink, and service was pretty great. Its a bit pricey, but it was very good. I had the crab stack, a seasonal mixed drink, and the wonderful Barry White dessert. I was not disappointed!

We love Office 842!!! Especially their Flatbread with Cauliflower crust, and the wedge (with bacon).

Service was excellent and the fire kept us pretty warm! We ordered the honeycomb latte and the Margherita Naan bread. My friend who had never been there before said everything was wonderful, and I obviously enjoy the place since I recommended it!

The waitstaff was slow and was resistant to check if there was dairy in some of the items for someone allergic to dairy in our group. Not a great experience.

Their fondue is so yummy. I crave it at random times throughout daily life and can’t stop thinking about it until I go there to eat again. I’m writing this review because I woke up thinking about this delicious and perfectly cooked fondue, and will be there later today because this is my favorite thing in the entire world.

They always have fun and delicious drink specials determined by season. Happy hour is from 3-6pm. Food and drink options are always tasty. Smaller building so I wouldnt go with a group if not calling beforehand. Great customer service. There is a small outdoor area at the front of the building. Perfect date night spot.

Food was incredible. I had the Greek flatbread and it had so much flavor! Good beers on tap, covered a lot of ground for not having many taps. Happy hour menu had good deals. Service was friendly and attentive. Cannot wait to go back.

Excellent service, accommodating pleasant knowledgeable staff. Happy hour is all day on Sunday, so watch out for those cocktails. They are powerful. We ordered sandwiches, delicious Cubans which come with a small wedge salad, my favorite.

Ordered a northern fog and chocolate cake through the drive thorough and was mildly surprised that the total was $13+ but then they handed me a GIANT box and I was like oh, that most be more chocolate cake than I was thinking. No. It wasn’t even a full cake. Looks like half of it got left in the baking tray.

The Office has a large variety of martinis. I had a wonderful salad. The sandwiches are good. You have the opportunity to sit outdoors on nice days if you would like.

First and only time here, ordered seafood fondue but it arrived cold. The tea candle under the thick ceramic bowl it came in didnt have a chance of melting the cheese. Cold fondue is thick and pretty useless for dipping. Wont be returning to risk another disappointment.

Smaller, nice decor. This is a Portland style restaurant/martini bar. Beer? Three on tap, none were worth writing about. The food, however, was very good. We had the tortellini special. Tasty, good sized portion. Overall, two plates, plus wine and beer set us back about $40.

Husband and I popped in just to see since we just moved here.Whoa! It is too fancy inside to just drop by in street clothes. We felt underdressed and the menu really didnt cater to our simple tastes.Service was fine, nothing remarkable either good or bad. Server was friendly and smiley.Come here for girls night out (very feminine feel to the place), or to impress your boss. Dont come here in jeans and flip flops and expect to get out for less than $30.That said, we ordered a couple appetizers and a drink each. Food was delicious and drinks great, just not what we are used to. I prefer potato skins and a hard cider, husband fries and a dark beer. We totally made do, happily, but wont be back unless we are celebrating something.If I had a some girlfriends in town and we needed to blow some cash, wed go here.

This is such a nice place I was just disappointed in the eggs benedict they use process meat instead of a little piece of Canadian bacon ham and the potatoes were dry and cold. The Benedict sauce was really good. I just filled since it was Mothers Day it would have been nice for a little more detail work on the food. Was very thoughtful of them handing out carnations.

Cozy place for a cocktail and some creative food. Happy Hour is killer, creative cocktails and martinis, very nice beer selection. Has a nice ambiance; its a little, dark, chic cocktail bar!

It was a great girls day for me. The ladies there were very nice and served us for like 5 hours. Food has been great evertime iv been there. They make great drinks too. Always a must try for longview.
