Weve been pleased with our water system from Tri State so it made sense to go with them for our generator. The installers were prompt, professional and knowledgeable. Not only did they explain exactly how the system works but they did a short start up and run to be sure everything was in perfect order. It was installed on Monday and 3 days later the electricity went out. I cant express our joy when we heard the generator come on seconds later! It gives us a great sense of security and well being. Thanks again Tri-State! ๐Ÿคฉ๐Ÿฅฐ๐Ÿคฉ

Here it goes: I bought a generator from Tri-State. It seems to be a very good generator, however; I was sold a bill of goods after I agreed to buy the generator. Before I bought it the sales guy Randy and I had a lengthy conversation. My concern was being able to get a propane tank for the generator. He assured me Tri-State refurbishes 250 gal tanks and they would sell me one for $675 dollars and would install it at no additional cost. I said great and agreed to it. They came out about a week later to install the generator. I asked the installer about a 250 gal tank. he said they didnt have any at this time but they would hook me up when they got more. Didnt hear anything for a week or two so I called the office and spoke to the guy in-charge of generators. Initially he acted like he didnt know what I was talking about. He said he would check into it and get back with me. he never did. Some time had passed and I called the office again. No one knew what I was talking about. So after months of getting blown off and getting the run around I had to spring for a tank and installation at the tune of $1890 dollars. So, if you are going to buy a generator from them, and they tell you they have your back and will find you a 250 gal refurb tank for $675 dollars, it is a bone face lie. I can assure you if I had known they were blowing smoke about the tank I would not have purchased the generator.BUYER BEWARE!!!Oh and by the way....When the installer for the tank came out to install the tank I had to buy, he went nuts: Says this would be the last install he does for a Tri-State generator because their installers continue to do the install unsafe and not legal. The day before he came out to install the tank he called Tri-State and told them if he sees another Tri-State install done the way it is being done he would turn them into the Texas Railroad Commission. Apparently he had let them know several times previously.Add on review roughly 2 years later:Well here we are again with false advertisement from this company. Before I actually purchased this generator I asked about follow up service along with other very specific question too Randy the sales guy. I was told by Randy the sales guy the generator has a 10 year parts and service warrantee on it. Annual service would cost $189 per year after the first two years. He stated very clearly we would get the first two years of annual service done on the generator at no cost too us. After that we would have to pay the $189 annual service fee. That sounded ok so I told him we would do the annual service agreement after the two year free service was performed. I get a call today from them to schedule the second year free service which I was fine with. Problem was the CS guy who by the way was really trying to help says it would cost us $339 dollars for the service. After a long conversation they agreed to honor the second year free service we were told we would get. Now the problem is they all of a sudden raise their annual serve fees with no warning or reason from $189 to $339 dollars a year. Soooo, in a nut shell the generator itself is great no issues at all. Everything else outside of the generator purchase itself has been nothing but lies and deception. If you buy from these guys good luck, I hope you have better luck than we have had.I am a very easy guy to work with and get along with. All I expect as a customer is fairness and integrity. I expect when there is an agreement between two parties that it is carried out exactly the way the agreement was setup. What I have a problem with is being lied too and taken advantage of after the sale.

A total sham, DO NOT buy a water filter from this company! The whole sell is VERY misleading. They tell you its a one time worry free install that will last years and years, but then later want to charge you over $100 a year to check, clean, and re warranty it. After paying so much money, I expected a better product with better service. Highly regret this purchase, buy your water filters elsewhere!

We got a generator from Tri-State and could not be happier. We have had several outages and the unit came on with no problems each time. They also ran additional lines to our other buildings and the generator keeps power on at all of our buildings. They have been prompt and did all that was promised. I would highly recommend them for back up generator needs.
