Out of the dozens of UPS Stores I have used in the PNW, this one by far lacks the customer service of any. If I could rate negative 5 stars I would. It is unfortunate that some are simply polite, yet entirely unhelpful - or maybe just lack the motivation to help without contempt, and are able to stay employed.

Politely took a red dot sight to have it shipped from here and was refused service, said that they did not ship gun parts. It can be used on a wide amount of things from airsoft to paintball to actually being used as viewfinders on cameras. What a waste of my time.

Weve held off on giving a review since we dislike giving bad reviews, but after four attempts to mail something from here in the last 2 years, it was obvious there is something wrong. Weve used UPS stores all over the country and have never not found an option with them. Theyve always come up with something that works. Four tries and each time there was either no option or the option was comical - not in the fun creative way. First time was for my husbands business and they said they couldnt deliver to the particular place, although FedEx could (and UPS picks up from his office and delivers to this same place). Second time they couldnt ship a certain item that weve shipped for 10 years from all over the country. The third time the line was so long it wasnt worth the wait - went to the Kelso depot; no line. And the fourth, shipping a small envelope overnight 4 hours away would take 4 days and cost $45. USPS could get it there in 4 for $7. If its just shipping you need, go to the Kelso UPS depot, they found an option last Christmas and were extremely friendly about it and we havent seen a line there yet. On other things, their people arent overly rude or super pleasant. Parking lot is difficult (not their fault but a heads up if you have a bigger vehicle). And there is usually a line, often out of the door. Expected at Christmas, not so much at other times. Just not the same experience weve had at all the other stores.*EDIT*We upped our review because the owner did reach out and we did forget that we had one package - pre-labeled, that we were able to drop off there before our last attempt. We appreciate the owners effort in reaching out. Well still be using the main hub. Less of a wait, and were more helpful for our needs. Try this place. We know there are people who are very satisfied. This is just our experience.

Be careful, Amazon Prime Members, if you purchased two of the same item and attempt to return them. This store will try to sell you a bag or a box. Instead of helping you get another shipping label from Amazon. Finally, the woman clerk...helped me sort out the issue. I entered the store 3 times spoke to Amazon customer service twice, 3rd time entering the ups store I kept Amazon customer service on the phone. Amazon spoke to the clerk and finally, she completed the return. Also, this store made me wait in line each time. Not a good experience πŸ˜’

The staff here is exceptionally friendly. They go above and beyond to help customers. Also, notary here is not expensive and the person is super helpful. I was very impressed with their service and I think that if you have your choice of UPS providers in Longview, you should choose this one over the others.

Ive been to this particular store multiple times and it was always a pleasant and easy transaction. Last time I had to return 2 items on January 4th, it went the usual way. 2 weeks later Amazon has not gotten the package and the tracking they gave me for each package showed it hadnt let the ship. I went back in om the 16th/17th I believe. I spoke with a tall, dark-haired man and asked why its showing my package hadnt been shipped yet. He told me that they have 15 days to ship it out. I told him Ive done this before here and its never taken more than a day or two for it to show it was shipped. He tells me, no, its always been that way, they have 15 days to ship it out and that its likely there (pointing to a pile of Amazon packages to the end of the area behind the counter in what would be my right). I told him Ive never had it take that long to even get my refund, let alone have it leave the store. He stated things take longer because of the holidays however they have 15 days to ship it and thats the 19th. As I walk out he raises his voice and says, LOUDLY, have a nice day!At this point I could tell I wasnt going to get anything else from him so I just turned around and walked off. I called Amazon when I got home and they, in no uncertain terms, said that was absolutely not true. They have 7 days from the time they receive the package to issue refund and they dont know where hes getting the 15 days to ship.I called back today, the 21st, and spoke with a lady and asked why it still shows they havent been shipped. She said the tracking numbers they give dont a tally work for tracking the packages (oddly the tracking theyd given in all other transactions for Amazon had worked). She claimed I had to hear gum wrong and that Amazon has 15 days to refund me (not what Amazon said to me) she said she doesnt know why hed say that and I MUST have misunderstood what he said. I said, no, thats word for word what he told me and she should be able to check her cameras to see that he did say that. She proceeds to stop listening to what Im saying and place the blame squarely on me for what he said. I misunderstood, he didnt say that, its just miscommunication. I told her its no miscommunication, thats exactly what he said. I said, so he lied? She goes on about why would he lie? That makes no sense why he would lie. YOU mustve misheard.So, this was my joyous experience dealing with the UPS store #3032 in Longview over the holiday rush. When they have an employee lie, give false information to a customer and then they blame the customer for their mess-ups, its really, really unprofessional and shouldnt be excused. It would be one thing if theyd be like, we were swamped and he gave out wrong information, Im sorry, well try to make sure he doesnt do that again, that would be acceptable. Im sure Amazon will fix the UPS stores mess up on their end. But to just deny, gaslight and blame the person who was literally given false information and lied to, in front of other employees and customers so I KNOW there are others who witnessed this, its just not acceptable.I tried to get this made right quietly but the call today was the last straw. I dont have a lot of avenues to get this fixed but Im at least going to warn other customers about how they handle it when an employee behaves like this.

The UPS store has lost 5 of my packages now. Yes, really five packages! The store is under new ownership and they have no idea what they are doing. I never had a problem having packages sent to this location as a pick up point until the new owner took over. The scan says the person at the store is accepting them, but they have lost them all. The best part is, the total lack of customer service. The only help I got was β€œOh well, we don’t have it!”

Showed up at closing time and received a happy greeting from Sujan. I dont ship things, ever. Just had to return a camera that I bought. It arrived broken. So I had a handful of boxes, and incomplete packaging, and camera, and paperwork, and Sujan took it all and handed me a receipt. Easiest interaction Ive ever had. Wonderful service.

I shipped something from this location with insurance. The UPS driver along the way to the packages destination damaged the package. I have been going through the ringer with UPS trying to get the insurance. I was first told when I called in that they needed to speak to the shipper, after i identified myself as the shipper then they transferred me and only wanted to talk to the person I shipped the package to. They refused to take any consideration of the damage and only wanted to know what type of cardboard i used in my shipment of a wooden speaker enclosure. The charged me an additional fee for shipping after it was delivered saying that my weight was wrong, then denied my insurance. I opened a second claim and then they took the package back to their insurance processing center, charging me for shipping again. While the package was at their processing center they did not open it to inspect for damaged instead they just shipped it back to me denying the insurance claim the second time. When I received the packaged back it was damaged even further again from their shipping and then a week later I got another bill (the fourth one for this shipment) saying that my package was larger than dimensions entered when shipped. This part was fraudulent because when they shipped it back from the customer it was missing all the foam padding, it was 2 shorter on each dimension yet they charged me for packaging that was actually larger than it really was. At this point I tried to contact this store which I shipped the package out of via facebook and they never responded. I then called back again to the UPS phone number to open another insurance claim which then they opened and then called me back a week later saying they would have a decision by end of that day. I never heard back from them again, completely ignored. All the while I rebuilt the customer speaker enclosure for my customer and shipped it through FedEx and it arrived without a scratch.I then contacted BBB the better business bureau to open a case for mail fraud in which UPS corporate contacted me they said that they reviewed the claim and apologized heavily saying this would all be taken care of. I told them I wanted the cost my merchandise replaced at $450 and the shipping costs of all four charges refunded of $150 and they said that would be taken care of. I did all the paperwork, submitted the receipts and then got a phone call back from the insurance person who said they would only reimburse me for $350 of the $450 merchandise and the $150 of the shipping charges, I reminded them that the shipping charges were part mail fraud. They refused to refund my card account that they had no problems taking the money out of four times, instead they said they would mail me a check for $500. I just received the check, it was for less than the agreed on amount. I got a check for $420 which is also made payable to the wrong name. I called UPS corporate back to speak to the guy who promised me this would be taken care of, he apparently had just stepped out for lunch or something so I had his secretary take my name and phone number to return my call. It is not the weekend and I have not heard back from UPS.So just a warning to any other small business owners out there, UPS does not care about you and they have been an absolute nightmare dealing with the try and get them to pay me out on my damaged merchandise. First they automatically denied my claim stating they could not contact my customer (which they actually did contact him and never followed back up), they charged me several times including some fraudulent charges for dimensions which were not true, and then put me through the ringer with dodging me, not getting back to me, and them making false promises that were not followed up on, all to then lowball me on the insurance amount not once but twice and then put the wrong name on the check they mailed me.If you are a small business owner like me then beware of UPS they will only use their position to take advantage of you. This has been going on for over 4 months.

The prices seem high to me, but it has more hours of operation and is closer than the UPS hub in Kelso. The extra convenience has extra cost. Thats fair. The USPS offers the best shipping prices, but is neither fast nor convenient. The UPS Store is the fastest most convenient option. Just dont ever buy a box or other packaging materials from them because they will rob you blind on that. If you package yourself at home, then bring package to UPS Store, they will conveniently ship it for you at a price that you can swallow.

I have been using UPS since they opened the store on 15th, and have been happy with their service and prices, but today they had someone working the registers that was obviously unqualified, and they had no one to monitor her work. I tried to send a package that weighed 10.9 ounces, and she said the shipping charge would be $33. Two of the people behind me said That is ridiculous. I agreed and walked out. I went to the US Mail service in Kelso and was charged $8.12, and that included packaging.

Whenever I have to ship something off by UPS service, this is a location I stop by instead of the UPS location in Kelso. The girls are nice and they offer many services at the UPS Store in Longview. We wanted to pay over the phone for my mother-in-law to ship her things to North Carolina. We called ahead to ensure that we could do that before she arrived: first employee said that was no problem, then when we sent her down there to go ahead and do it the next employee hassled us saying we couldn’t pay over the phone. Well, after we finally worked that out and did pay...We get a phone call the next day saying that we didn’t pay enough because all of the things we had paid them to pack, weigh, and box didn’t fit into the box they had planned. This is absolutely a training issue with the weekend employee, who should have figured it out herself by either making a note of it for Monday and shipping the items, calling the manager today, or even calling the owner.I am a regular UPS store customer, I’m friends with owners in my home state, I have a business account and local mailbox with the company, and I have never dealt with such incompetency. I have never had a business force me to pay more for something that was their fault, and I have never had a UPS store mess up their original shipment quote.My mother-in-laws breathing machine is in this shipment, so I was forced to pay more anyway since the only solution I was offered was to wait for a manager on Monday and I do not want to risk it not arriving in a timely manner.Next time I am in Washington I will drive farther to avoid using this store: I usually ship a suitcase home from business trips with UPS but will never use this store to do so.Awful.
