Alex is an absolute MIRACLE WORKER.I recently moved from NYC to LA and a large, antique, highly sentimental mirror was shattered and ruined by our movers. I was absolutely devastated, and started calling and visiting various repairmen in the LA area to see who could fix it. Thank heavens I found Alex. He literally repaired the wooden frame so well, so seamlessly, that it is in better shape than it was before.We took the mirror to his workshop and were able to pick it up within a few days. Alex uses text and is very responsive and communicative about the process, and the price for such an involved project was very reasonable. Additionally, he was incredibly understanding about how sentimental the mirror was to me, and really put me at ease about leaving such a precious piece with a stranger.I am SO so so glad I found Alex. He has an obvious passion for his work, and treats his clients with kindness and generosity. I would trust him with any precious piece that needs repair.Before and After pics below:

Alex did a beautiful job on my old standing oriental jewelry box. Couldnt be happier. The price was extremely reasonable compared to other restoration places and the time for repair was one week compared to 2 months quoted by another restoration place.
The owner of this place Alex is crazy. I contacted him through Yelp for quote and he responded right away to ask for a picture of the damage. I sent him the email with my picture 6 days ago and through Yelp I even messaged him to tell him that I sent him the picture. So far so good right? Well read on... This is where things started to go down hill.He never responded to my email without the picture nor the message on Yelp. So I wait 2 days and messaged him in Yelp again to ask him if he received the email with the picture and if he could still give me a quote. Alex never responded. I waited 3 days and no response saying that he never received the email or anything like that. Alex just ignored my message.So I proceeded to write a 1 star review starting that he never responded since I had waited 3 days. I think 3 days is fair. I gave him plenty of chances to respond which he never didAfter that is when he started to show his true colors. He messaged me the day after my 1 star review telling me that he deleted my email because he thought it was spam because I had the words junk mail sucks in my email addressC (Cuz well... We all know that junk mail sucks! :) lol) so ok to this point Im still fine. But then he messages me saying that he cant do anything for me because I left him a 1 star review. And Im like what? I left you a 1 star review because your never responded to me...a potential customer. Then he started to threaten that I delete the review or he was going to contact Yelp. He also stated that I was bullying him and that he would not be bullied... In the meanwhile Alex was bullying me with threats.Well Alex, if you had responded to my atempts to contact you... The 1 star review wouldnt be in there... But Alex, YOU NEVER RESPONDED until my 1 star review. Oh and the kicker to this... He did give be 3 ways to contact him... Email/phone/text. I chose email cuz well I dont want crazy business owners like Alex getting my phone number. He response was that I never called him either. So now its my job as a customer to contact the place multiple times using multiple venues to try and get a hold of the owner. No thank you. I expect better customer service.So apparently, because he never responded to my messages, Alex doesnt want to do business with me because he made a mistake. Which is fine. After this fiasco, I hope to never hear from him ever again. And the next kicker to this... He never admitted that he made a mistake in never getting back to me... All he is stuck on is that he deleted my email because he thought it was junk mail. And he is calling me insane...*rolling eyes* Crazy owners at their best! StSt far away!!

Waited weeks for someone to come help me with my broken dresser. The first time I had an appointment, Alex cancelled on me because of car issues. The second time he sent me a screenshot of an address that wasnt my address and said there wasnt street parking on my street today (there is). Then he said he was in front of my house, and he wasnt.
