Had a recall on my car with the letter specifically saying they would provide a car during the repair. I get to this facility and they say “we’re no longer doing that.” I had to call my husband to come pick me up and I’m 4.5 months pregnant and they had me wait on the street corner (this facility is not in a nice area)for him with my belongings. I had to take a lyft to go back to pick up my car afterwards because my husband was still working. I will NEVER be returning to this dealership and I hope people go to another Honda dealership to purchase a car. I will be calling corporate.
Worst experience ever.Charged me $200 just to look at my car. Total rip off. I highly recommend others to never consult them.
Rude and unprofessional sales reps. My car started a brand new problem right after received recall services from this dealer. They have no idea and wanted to charge just to take a look. I suspect they did something wrong either accidently or purposely.
If the purpose of Mikes treatment of me at the Hollywood Honda service center was to make me feel inferior and stupid, he was successful. I came in for a $44 oil change with a coupon (I am a full-time student and my finances are currently limited). His demeanor was aggressively dismissive. I felt flooded by his condescending behavior and followed his order to sign and come back when alerted via text message. When I returned, my bill was $273. Confused by how a $44 dollar oil change became a $273 bill, I wanted a moment to review my receipt. Mike appeared annoyed and instead of calmly explaining to me the services done, he kept repeating that I signed an agreement. I had already paid $273 and simply wanted a moment to review what it was I paid for. As I did this, he hovered over me in a domineering fashion. He was confrontational and repeated that I had a receipt I could review on my own. I felt taken advantage of and pushed out. His behavior left me feeling sunken and taken advantage of. My intention was to make Hollywood Honda my primary location for service. I will not be back.
STAFF is very unprofessional. Don’t buy a vehicle from this dealership; take the time to shop around if you can. There are also better prices than this dealership has to offer. Now I know why the reviews on this place are not good at all.
So far Ive had several great experiences at the Honda of Hollywood service department- Such a refreshing change after so many years of bad service from Culver City Honda.
I do know that Mondays are hectic for everyones work environment, but to make a long story short-- I scheduled an appointment at 7am and I arrived at 7am. My car sat in the lot for 2 1/2 hours. I could have just stayed sleeping until 10am and then drove my car to the dealership to be serviced. Dont schedule me an appointment and then take hours to follow thru with my appointment when I see people coming in and leaving befor me. I wanted a diagnostic test which doesnt take hours to perform. I left and wont be back for service anytime soon. Thanks.
I went to lease a vehicle with only $1000 to pay for the down payment and was treated very bad by the employees just because I only $1000 to pay down I do not recommend anyone to come to this dealership very bad service. They will also try to give you the vehicles that are not being sold so basically they’re giving you their waist …. I repeat do not come to this dealership you will regret it and you will get a terrible deal
Don’t even bother emailing or calling. Romualdo Veneracion will just bombard you with emails while lying to you just to cheat you with money factor for a lease.
Hyke and Esteban have been so amazing to me and my family. We are treated so nice here and given what we asked. No words for these two guys that go abogue and beyond. We have gotten about 20 cars including our family and friends and we never leave unhappy. Thanks you Esteban and Hyke for all you guys do we appreciate you guys. Much appreciation Chris &Marisol
Always terrible service. They try to get you to order the same parts each time you go in, so question what they are installing. They have workers who will not wear masks while driving your cars, while helping you in the office, while face to face talking to you about your vehicles. There are managers who will give you their card, saying that it’s in case you need anything with your car, then corner you and tell you that since you now have *their cell phone number that they wrote onto their business card* you should go out with them. You’ll make an appointment for two services, take it in and then they will get flustered with you for thinking they will be able to get the service done... that you specifically made the appointment for. Just for them to not do it and tell you you need to pick up your car, make a new appointment for a later date and then bring it in. Talk about unprofessional.
Leonard and the rest of the folks here were super helpful and efficient—they had everything I wanted ready for me to see, and showed me all the great features on my new car before sending me out on the road. Super easy, great service.
WORST CAR PURCHASE EXPERIENCE EVER! Please save your time and money and choose any other Honda dealership in LA! These people will LIE to get your information. Communication is better from a 5 year old. And frankly, they are quite incompetent in running a business. It took them a week to fail at doing something another Honda dealership was able to do in less than 48 hours. Take your time, money, and business elsewhere because Honda of Hollywood does not deserve it!
I had these guys check out my Civic si with a major transmission issue. They charged $180 for the diagnosis which I already knew (it’s F’d) and then clearly way over estimated the actual work (which the estimate is applied to if you have them do the work). Now, I think this is a standard thing to charge for estimates in CA but $180 is crazy. 3 stars because the people were nice.Save your money and don’t go here for a Honda transmission. Go to Vermont Transmissions in Hollywood, he charged me $1000 less and was an absolute rock star the whole time. Small business, super nice owner, hard worker. Car runs like, shifts like a dream and I spent the other $820 on eggs and tomatoes. Not impressed Honda 👊🏼👎🏻 see you never. Pics attached of my 2007 warhorse.
NEVER DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THIS DEALERSHIP. They will lie and say they are giving you things for free as part of the deal I went to trade in my Honda that I had leased three years before. When it was time to make a deal they said the would throw in the service contract and take care of my license and documentation fee. When I got the contract I looked at the price and I asked is this the sticker price because it had a price plus and additional 2,000 dollars. I said so this is the sticker price including the 2k they said yes. I didnt think they would lie outright to face so I didnt ask them to bring me the sticker for car. When I got home with the car I pulled out the sticker and sure enough they had added 2000 over sticker. I called them and said why did you lie to me and they said it was to cover the service contract. They were now denying that the service contract was free and I knew about the 2,000 over sticker. I told them I wanted to return the car and they said all sales are final. This is just part of the deception there were other lies that I didnt get to but this should be enough for you to know to never go there.
Recently came to light that this business is messing up people’s cars and refusing to fix THEIR OWN MISTAKES, even when the car is under warranty. Horrific for them to treat people who give them thousands of dollars this way.
Long review, but it details specifics about how they use scare tactics to squeeze money out of customers. Never coming back here:Despite my knowing that dealers are a rip off Ive continued to have my car serviced here since I purchased from them 7 years ago. Ive worked with Javier the whole time, not sure where he went but he is missed! Now that theyve instituted this text message service for your convenience while youre having work done on your car, I have some big issues with coming here. The first time this happened to me was about 3 years ago. I came in for an oil change and got a text from Honda stating that the technicians found additional services that need to be performed. I was HORRIFIED. I added up all of the items marked in red as NEED IMMEDIATE ATTENTION and it added up to more than my car was worth. I declined all of these so called urgent repairs and went on with my life. Not once have I needed ANY of those things fixed and Ive taken my car to other mechanics.Last week I went in for an oil change and they said, again that I had additional services needed (none of the same services from 3 years ago...?). I cam back today to have my transmission fluid changed and the service person in charge of my car came in and told me that I need to have 2 motor mounts replaced. They gave me the estimate - over $1000 including $700 in labor alone. After he walked away, a sales person approached me from behind and said in a low, concerned voice Hey, I overheard about all of the trouble youre having with your car. Heres my card if you ever want to just trade it in. I was so infuriated. I get it, youre a salesperson, there to make a commission. But COME ON! You didnt say ANYTHING to me for the 2 hours I was sitting in the waiting area in right in front of you. You waited until I was in a vulnerable place and having just ben told I have over $1000 worth of repairs to do on my car. BEYOND SLIMEY. I threw his card away immediately - I wish I had his name.I promptly took the car to another mechanic and got a second opinion. I showed them the entire list fo the 7 or so things that Honda said NEED IMMEDIATE ATTENTION and he said that NONE were urgent and that the only thing that I should replace are the motor mounts, which, with parts and labor he is charging me less than HALF of what Honda was going to charge.Bottom line is that this place is a corporation and they dont care about anything but how much money they can take you for. I highly recommend working with a small time mechanic who owns their own shop.
Joke of a service center. Never come here.Claimed they would deal with my insurance so I would only pay the deductible when I picked up the car.Never called me to let me know my car was done. Showed up at 6 and they were closed already and said actually you have to pay everything now and deal with insurance yourself, or we can’t release the car.Wasted money ubering to and from.
Im not happy about Hollywood Honda service. Ive been getting my honda accord service done here for the past 3 years. The last time I came and got an oil change and changed all 4 of my brakes, they lost my transmission oil dipstick. I came back and told the customer service rep about it. The customer service rep, the asian guy with gray hair told me to go purchase one at parts store. Now why would I want to come back here? Next time Ill take my business somewhere else.
Horrible experience. Went in for a simple oil change and windshield wiper fluid. Waited for FOUR HOURS and they didnt even refill my wiper fluid!! Unacceptable. Staff had the audacity to ask me for a 5 star rating after a terrible service experience. DO NOT GO HERE.
I have bought 3 cars from this dealership within the last few years. Great place to purchase your vehicles just be a little careful with the finance department which is the last step of the buying process. Watch that guy or go in with someone with some slight knowledge on buying a new car. The service department is ok as well but a little delayed sometimes with basic maintenance work other than that overall great dealer to purchase and maintain a car.
Car dealerships are usually the worst. These guys are the best Ive found. Not perfect, but Id buy from them again.Lets start with the bad:I scheduled an appointment 3 hours head and also gave a reminder 20 minutes before I arrive to view a specific car. They didnt had the car in the lot, and told me to wait there. After 50 minutes, I just left home. terrible experience. The Good (GREAT, Actually):The day after, I talked to the sales guy over the phone, we agreed on a FINAL price, they prepared everything for me at the dealership and I only had to spend a total of 30 minutes and I was done! Incredible experience. Their finance guy was a pleasure to work with. Conclusions:They have a small lot, double check the car you want to see is there. even if it shows on their inventory on the site - it doesnt mean its actually there! Other than that, look no further. pleasure to work with.
If you have TIME to WASTE. This is the PLACE for YOU. Heard good things about this dealer but I was wrong. Waited more than 3 hours for a simple oil change that I had an appointment for. Would not recommend getting your car serviced here.
They pulled up a warranty I didnt know I had and gave me a rental to use for the day. That was nice. Downside is they said they would call me if they needed to replace my rotors but they just replaced them anyway without calling me to the tune of some $300 each. I was prepared for this so it didnt bother me but it could really be an issue for someone else.
No nice service no fast the office
Horrible service got kicked out for being Mexican
Really great experience. The entire staff was professional and polite. From start to finish they wanted us to have a positive experience. They had just the right vehicle for my daughter and did everything possible to make the transaction work. My daughter drove away in a brand new HRV and is very happy with her purchase.
Just awful lol, plz go downtown instead
Starting with Felix he is a very helpful salesman he went out of way with his manager to get a deal to buy me lease to buy. Our process was very hard but they were able to do it with a smile! I just took my car to the service which dawn assisted me and I can’t explain how professional and outstanding employee she is just like Felix and also dawns service manager always has a smile!!She went through the whole process of fixing my car and seeing anything she could help me through this whole process!! If I can give more than 5 stars I will but the whole dealership is just amazing!!
A shared experience where they got all your trailer in my card the name is Jose the service department and they told me I got a nail in my tire do I have to replace it the price is okay but the second I fix it bye I go where I have to do it put a new tire service is good. Recommend any special for sale but I guess its a good person the technique satisfied thank you
I usually go to Honda downtown LA but decided to try this location since its closer to where I live, and I wont be coming back here again. Back in July I had to get my fuel pump replaced due to recall and thought everything was fine but this week my car started stalling and completely stopped in the middle of the freeway. Had my car towed to here and was able to get a system recalibration done but the service from Mike was unacceptable. First I get a text from Honda about a car thats not mine and I gave Mike a call to make sure my number is under the correct car. Mike was dismissive when I asked about this, but he also never gave me a call or update on when Id be able to pick up my car. Then I was given the run around on the phone between the dealership and the service center for 30 minutes just to get some kind of update on my car. I was very patient with each person I spoke to and Mike never followed up even if the manager Jay said he did.
Ive been going to Honda of Hollywood for about 3 years now and every time I go, everyone is so wonderful there. Recently, I went and purchased my HR-V I was leasing and had just an amazing experience with the salesmen. Bilal, the Sales Manager is a gem. Always an amazing experience with when Im there.
I had a great experience with Leonard. He is a great guy and worker and knows a lot about Honda. Working with sales managers, just make sure your getting the best deal possible, I purchased a Civic for $500 dollars less than the same model I saw online with over 20k miles less. I spoke with the sales manager over the phone and said he can switch out the vehicle and make the deal for the more expensive model. So I drove all the way from Bakersfield just to have the same manager tell me that in order for us to get the deal done Id have to pay fees totaling over $1500. I kept my car but had my extended warranty taken off which saved me an additional $2500. I was hoping they would be a good wholesome dealer to help me and my family get the best deal but after speaking and dealing with the Sales manager you could tell they were trying to get as much money as possible from my purchase. The communication was also missing between managers as our closer on the deal wasnt even sure as to why we came back to the dealer. On top of that our sales manager didnt speak to my wife and I when I went back. He was our best friend the week before when we were first purchasing the car. My wife and I were professional and courteous through this whole deal. Also, make sure the sales manager tells you the price of the car without an extended warranty and GAP. This was one tactic that I didnt catch on to and believed this was a warranty that already came with the vehicle but was an extended warranty I learned that they were selling me when closing the deal.
Terrible customer service, I bought a car here, they will take your money no problem, but when it comes time to take car of you in any way... forget about it.. they will hang up on you, take you business elsewhere

I think this is probably going to be the last time Ill be using this dealership for any of my service needs on my Honda Accord. I came in today initially expecting to pay $250 for an oil change and brake fluid replacement, but all of a sudden they tell me I need complete brake replacements and a wheel alignment to a new total of $860. After discussing with a local shop, I just realized (albeit too late) that they are ripping me off. Unfortunately due to my bad decision, Im tied down to their Sunbit credit program in addition to the difference that they wont cover. Dealerships need to realize that customers arent made of money and the right thing to do was to offer me a discount/coupon - but again this is a systemic issue and dealerships only care about profit over customer service.Update: So one of their technicians/mechanics removed my cellphone holder that I slip into an air vent and now its missing. It doesnt cost that much to replace it, but way to add insult to injury... so disappointed with this dealership.
Very nice staff and great dealership! Thank you!!!
I have been a user of Honda cars for a couple of years. I have visited many or rather several dealers in the city of Los Angeles and its surroundings. You have the cars do the service and on most sides and had a not very pleasant service. Despite the charges o The costs involved in the service today I was close to the area where I live and decided to go to the Hollywood Honda and I was surprised that when I normally paid $ 100 for a basic service and ended up paying $ 46.57y The best of all is that the service was in less than 1 hour, only 58 minutes to be exact, when in several places it lasted up to 3 hours for a simple service, excellent express service, also deserves a mention the coffee and donuts that they are for free.
Quick service. Efficient employees. Depending on which person you get, sometimes theyll aggressively try to sell you other services that you didnt bring in the car for.
I switched out my lease 10 months early from a civic to an hrv. I had paid my original lease in advance. I worked with Romualdo Veneracion and Sammy, and was told I would get a refund in the mail for the amount paid from October through to January. I kept emailing and calling to follow up, and was continually told I would get the refund in the mail. Finally, after over almost two months of reaching out, I get a message from Sammy saying I wasn’t getting a refund, they used the payment to pay off the rest of the lease. They EXPRESSLY told me I would receive a refund for the payments I had sent in ahead of time when I signed up, we spoke about this several times. Additionally the “brand new” car had a malfunction within days of getting it, and I had to bring it back in for repair which was valued at over $1k. They rental car they gave me was dirty, and I found used rubber gloves on the floor. So not only did they scam me during covid, but they couldn’t even give me a clean rental. It’s been nothing but a headache, and I just want the refund as promised. An apology for their unethical behavior would also be nice.
I have Willie as my advisor. He is been there for 20 years which I dont care. When you deal with customer service. Its still good to hear a greetings and Willie didnt do that. He probably dont care but we care.. Im not con9ng back because of him being not welcome.
After emailing and calling numerous Honda dealerships (from across the country), I can truthfully say I was extremely impressed with the service from the General Manager and Sales Manager who helped me arrange for my son to come in and lease a new car. We handled all arrangements by phone and email, then all he had to do was go in, test drive and look over the car (it was already clean and ready to go), and sign the papers. In and out in one hour with superior service all around. Honda of Hollywood has not only earned our auto-buying business, but we will also bring the car here for service as well. Thank you for an excellent experience.
The people here at Honda of Hollywood are extremely professional. And nice I went there because of my airbags needed to be replaced because there was a recall on them. And the people were all super kind and they took care of me and got my car done. Faster than what they were. schedule 2
It doesn’t take more than 2 hours for a oil change and rotation of the tires. Bad service
Armen and Mike from service department, hands down the best ! Also good conversation with Bilal, one of the dealership managers . Thank you all for your great customer service today and always!
They take advantage of you and your situationdo not go hereany dealership is better than thiswho charges $500/mo for an old civic ? they do
Seth was a very personable and professional service representative. He helped me determine what services my car was due for as well as any concerns that I had for my vehicle. When all was done, he greeted me in the lounge with a smile and a handshake letting me know my car was ready to drive off. The cashier staff were also very warm and engaging. I trust the staff Honda of Hollywood over closer dealerships to keep my Honda running well.
There is recall for e break system for 2016 Honda civics, and i went there to have them fix / update it mine. I made the appointment for 11am, but I showed up at 10.30am. The software update took around 2 hours; in addition, they charge 90 dollars for the same cvt fluid you can get for 50 bucks. My fault for not checking else where first. They do have a nice coffee machine, and they put out donuts for guest. The restroom is nice and clean.
I had a collision and the front bumper of my CR-V needed replacement along with some other parts that were damaged. I went around a few repair shops getting estimates and finally arrived at Honda of Hollywood. And that was the best decision I made. Outstanding service, outstanding repair work, and got additional services added on at no cost and simply out of courtesy and for customer satisfaction. Josh Cuevas who handled my case from the start till the end was amazingly fabulous with his communication, his commitment to the time frame of the repair work, handling all insurance paperwork, keeping me updated on the progress, the ease with which he answered questions, and so many extra things he did on the car without charge and the discounts he gave on the price of the original Honda parts. And the entire crew of mechanics that worked on the car were simply the best. The entire experience was so pleasant and tireless. No twists, no surprises, and just smack down straight forward and honest. I would recommend only this repair shop for all those that need their Honda repaired.
Great staff, friendly service, feels like small family like environment. Not like other huge corporate owned dealership.
Amazing, quick, and friendly service. I was willing to pay $300 for a replacement part but they ended up fixing it for free as part of the holiday season. They also did not have availability until tomorrow so we dropped it off, expecting to not pick it up until then but they ended up doing everything within a couple hours. I will definitely return there for any of my car needs.
Quoted my brake pads for 97$, meanwhile called other Honda dealerships and EVERYONE else had them for 76$ .🤣🤣So you decide if you wanna buy anything from them )
This os the WORST Honda Service ever. We have 3 Honda car and mostly go to the CulverCity Honda and never had any problem. This is the first time i went to this place but horrible employees. Not respectful do not listen you and not try to solve your problems. The just wanna take your money thats all. They are not trying to make your problems easier, just wanna create more problems. Never ever go there again!!!!
Kicked me out for being Mexican
Worse customer service ever! I have never ever written a review for any restaurant or service location. They only care about selling you a car and not their service. I have been calling for weeks to get a form faxed over that i need for my gap insurance and they are completely purposely neglecting my phone calls. I asked to speak to managers and supervisors and who ever answers the phone deny me access to them. I have done business with them for over 4 years and have referred multiple people. They can kiss my business away for their poor service. -5 stars!
When I looked at the reviews for Honda of Hollywood, I saw a relatively high number, and a lot of complaints about buying cars and new cars, and I concluded this didnt apply to me, and that I would be fine to go here for repairs. I could not have been more mistaken. If you take nothing else from this review - do NOT get your Honda repaired here if you value your time, your money, or ultimately, your car.I have a 2004 Civic, about 75k miles, which isnt too bad for a Honda. Its treated me very well, and the worse that had happened was that the wireless lock had stopped working. One day however, the door lock itself stopped allowing my key to insert. I didnt like the idea of driving around LA without being able to lock my car, and I figured it might be a complex enough issue to need to go to a dealer to get it fixed.I spoke with a nice gentleman on the phone and made an appointment for 11:45 the next day. I was told the process would take a couple hours, and since I was there, I knew I should replace my battery because of its low voltage, and that I might as well fix the wireless lock too. I was told itd be 90 dollars to fix the wireless lock and 160 for the battery. That seemed fine enough so I made the appointment. (I would later discover that both of those numbers were outrageously marked up.)I arrived at exactly 11:45 and had to wait 15 minutes just to speak to someone as youre not allowed to leave your car until you reach the front of the line. So theyre overbooked - fine. I was informed that itd be 2 to 3 hours to find out what was wrong with my car and itd be $180 of labor to inspect it. But that was okay because theyd put the $180 toward any repairs I made - and I was expecting to repair the wireless lock and battery which would be more than $180. So I accepted. It took them 4 hours to tell me what was wrong with the car. They said the lock cylinder was broken, and itd be $450 to fix it. Also they couldnt actually fix it today - they didnt have the part - so Id have to come back. Also they would only fix the wireless lock for $90 IF I also fixed the door. They also assaulted me with a number of critical flaws my 15 year old car had that I should repair - but having had the car in my local mechanic less than a month earlier, I knew better than to believe this (I later confirmed they were all minor issues).I was taken aback by how much money that was, so I said just fix the battery then. A half hour later they did just that and I returned expecting to pay the labor cost of $180, only to find that the total cost was $290! They had decided that because I knew I had to replace the battery, or perhaps because battery replacement is somehow a more rudimentary form of repair, that it didnt count, and therefore the labor costs of the diagnostic didnt apply to it. I was confused and shocked, and before I could even check the math, someone there found another extra charge theyd given me accidentally and took the paper away to correct it. (Apparently theyd somehow left part of my old battery in the engine and were going to charge me for it.) I paid $270.In the end, the manager came to me, very apologetic and friendly, and said that if I did return to do any of the repairs with them, theyd give me %15 off. I did the math - thats like $60 - if I repaired the $450 door.Come the next day, I did not go back. I found another mechanic, down the same street, who fixed the door and the lock together... for $140. Less than a third of the cost of just the door. And they did a fine job, even driving to another part of town to get some of the parts for me.I couldnt be more aghast at how much Honda of Hollywood tried to rip me off. They are monstrously more expensive, less organized, and possibly less competent than their competitors. The staff seem nice enough, but the more I reflect, the more this is if anything a downside, as it lowers your guard against all the things they do to up your bill. If you must get your Honda repaired: GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. PS: Their battery was defective too. 0/5 stars.
I went in to buy a used Honda in the midst of the covid-19 pandemic and was very pleased with the safety precautions taken by the staff. Open flowing air, regular wipedowns, and plastic partitions. Only one room was a little tight, when I went to finalize some paperwork. The car buying experience with this establishment was overall low-hassle, which I was grateful for.My only word of advice is, triple check that the car you want to see is at the dealership. I made an appointment to test drive a car that was sold by the time I arrived. Despite that, Romualdo was very helpful in showing me comparable Civics. Talking with finance was also more straight forward than I was expecting, which I appreciated. Would do business with again.
Frauds. AC broke couple months after I got it fixed. They trying to Get that maximum warranty money from the corporation after doing on horrible job on my car. Probably used cheap product to fix my AC.
Overall great experience. I came in to take care of a recall on my Honda Accord. Elmo helped me out (that actually is his name). He was friendly and knowledgeable as well as professional.Because my recall was from the factory I didn’t pay anything out of pocket. They suggested a few add on services (like all auto shops) but nothing over the top. Nothing is cheap at the dealership, but if you need something only the dealer can take care of, I recommend Elmo and his team.
Watch out for these guys, they sold me a car that was advertised to have AC the car blows hot air and they wont accept responsability for it. On top of that the day of purchase i spent an hour struggling because they wanted to sell me the exact same warranty that the vehicle already came with..Shady dealer to say the least
I’ve been going to Honda exclusively for 20 years to service all of my Honda vehicles (which I also buy through them). When they tried to charge me $70 to replace an air filter recently, I realized how grossly I had been overpaying for all these years... An air filter is a $10 part that takes two minutes to change on your own... I’ve been paying $80 every few months for an oil change and tire rotation that I can get for $30 at Sears. I won’t be going to Honda anymore.
This place rocks! I was sent over from a mutual connection named Rolland, he raved about the his purchase and the staff. We took the drive from Newport viewed the car, loved the service and the staff overall was amazing.
The staff are friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and went above and beyond the expectations I had as a customer. I will forever be a life-long customer of Honda of Hollywood. If youre looking to buy a new or used vehicle this is the only place youll ever need to visit. Thanks again guys, youre simply the best!
I happen to live 3 blocks away from HONDA Hollywood so yes they are convenient for me anyway. But apart from that, I must say that these guys are fast and furious! They have helped me efficiently every single time that I had a question about my HONDA or a service to do or even just a check because some light on my control panel went on! They are polite, knowledgeable and patient!
Just started volunteering with the after school tutoring program here. Freaking wonderful even though my kid handed about 2 weeks worth of homework to be turned in tomorrow. A struggle, yes but worth getting out of bed for. We didnt finish but we got as close as we could before the center closed. Ill be back again soon.
Ive gone to Honda of Hollywood for vehicle service sporadically since purchasing my new 2005 Element from another dealership. This decision due to a history a questionable recommended repairs that in fact were not needed. I am familiar with engine basics; I did not challenge the recommendations, but simply made mental note not to bring my vehicle back (as is my habit) for regular service - every 06 months. I will also add - none of the recommended repairs were ever required - my vehicle is now nearly 16 years old.I write this review as follow up to my experience today. There is a recall repair needed to address a flaw with the airbag. While there I decided to replace two damaged turn signal reflectors. I purchased the parts, and informed the Service Advisor - Javier Sanchez - that I am willing to pay labor cost for the install. When he quoted the cost - I expressed surprise - but still approved. I received a follow up call from Javier via voicemail that my vehicle is ready for pick up, he also informed me the bulbs within the reflector lenses werent going to last much longer (less than $3.00 a piece) - and took the initiative to replace them - along with a slight reduction in labor cost fee!Impressive. This positive experience is most reassuring.1. Service Advisor - Javier Sanchez - is an asset to Honda of Hollywood for his honest professionalism2. Perhaps - this represents a wiser, smarter approach to both honest customer/ vehicle repair service, and the recognized value of repeat business at Honda of Hollywood?Bravo.
The service department is good. Sales and finance are scam artists. They lied to me on several occasions and Im still waiting for a $360 refund that got lost in the mail.
After an Exhausting experience attempting to turn in my BMW lease, decided to listen to my BF and take a look at an Honda Accord. WOW! What an amazing car comes loaded with options that BMW would charge and arm,leg and unborn child to obtain. Purchased a new Honda Sport in a blue color that twinkles in Hollywood sun ☀️ The staff at Honda of Hollywood was amazing from the Mangers Hyak, Sam and Harut to finance which was easy fast and painless. Thanks Team Honda! 😍
A super great place to have your car taken care of. The staff are very friendly and down to earth!!! Very helpful for sure !!!!
Ive been going to H of H for years now, to service my 2002 Honda Insight. Randy in service is aces, takes a personal interest in my satisfaction with my car, and is always friendly and helpful. Once when I explained I didnt have the $ currently for the mega tuneup scheduled, he switched it around to the next lesser one-- cool!Danny, too in service is tops. I get my car back when promised, and when anyone is paying dealer repair prices, well, they want good service. This is where I get good service; this is why I continually come back.
I had the best and the worst customer service on this dealer !!! A guy name Michael new guy on the business act really professional and even though He was New on the company he provide a really good costumer service with no pressure, he show me and my bf our best options. Until we seat to talk about our payments .. The manager it was so rude I was looking for trade my car and make business with them also my bf was thinking on buying his car there as well ... Manager doesnt even want to show us the payment and they where asking for 7000 what it was ridiculous !!!! It seems that they have more important thing to do than sale a car !!! I definitely never ever will come back to this dealer unless that manager is gone !!!!
Trash help
I was very happy with the service I received. Fairly simple and painless. I would come here again. Although I cant comment on their prices since my service was free as part of the recall.
Almost purchased a car here. The in person experience was perfectly pleasant, almost bought the car until the last second when we reviewed the already agreed upon price. Negotiated a price before tax title license over the phone and text. This is a standard way to negotiate since people online post comparable prices before tax title license. Out the door price is another way to compare prices, but that varies by state and where you live since taxes vary. Negotiated price was before tax title, license, but not including destination of 900$ which was tacked on at the very end, which the salesman did tell me ahead of time. I called up another dealer which I thought was 200$ more expensive than Hollywood honda(since I was comparing before tax title license pricing) and asked if their before tax title license included destination, and it did. Went with the other dealer since it ended up being 700$ cheaper out the door.Just know that this dealership considers before tax title license as not including the 900$ destination, which although they said in a text to me before I came in, is not the standard interpretation of what before tax title license means.I consider this not exactly dishonest but a variation in interpretation that some might be frustrated with.
The salesman essentially had no knowledge of the vehicle and then when I asked if the Honda CRV was in competition with the RAV4 he said absolutely not. I can’t buy a Honda from a man who knows less than I do, and I’m a female
Called in and ordered a little bottle of touch-up paint yesterday. The guy asked for my VIN, said they were out of stock but theyd order it. He told me to come in after 10am today. He took my name and phone number down.So I go over today on my lunch break. While crossing the parking lot the sales guys start YELLING at me to come buy a car. Now, Im already in there, heading into the door, and theyre making sure to give me an unpleasant experience.I go to the Parts counter where a group of five guys hanging out there stare at me in disbelief as I recount my story and they maintain there is no record. No orders have been placed since July. Its November! They ask my name, my number, if I gave a VIN, who I talked to (to which I replied that they dont answer the phone by giving their names), exactly when I called, what number I called, am I at the right place... Saying everything other than, Oh sorry sir, apparently someone lost your order, please let us make it up to you.Ive been to this dealership off and on for years. Had them service a car and a motorcycle. Bought plenty of accessories. Even brought a friend over to buy himself a motorcycle. So I shook my head, told them Id been a customer of theirs for years, but I guessed I wouldnt come back again. They said nothing, so I left.Extremely unprofessional, and lack of customer service. I meant it, I wont be back again.
Honda dealership is great. But when it comes to the actual corporation they have no value for the customer. I got a 2016 Honda Civic fully equipped and I took my brother as well and got the same car as me, so technically we bought two at the same time and within the 3rd moth my car Started to get system errors, brake system problem, abs system problem, anti-lock braking system problem, tire pressure monitor system problem and much more. I took in the shop I would say 7 -8 times and was at the shop of total of 35 days at the shop and the problem was still there. So I called Honda corporation and made a claim. The gentlemen that took my case did not call me back or anything. So I got an Atterney because I didnt know what else to do. I was missing work couldnt take my son too school. Its been almost 7 moths and Honda still giving a hard time.I trade in my previous car I was down $4,000 and I was fine with it because I though I was getting a better car. Till today with down payment and car payments Ive put close to $10,000 and Honda is just trying to give me $4,000 back. This was my first new car and gave me the worse first car experience. So if you get a car from Honda just make sure its not a lemon because I assure you they wont treat you the same way as if you where a new customer. I would never get a Honda car ever again.
STAY AWAY from this place! They are NOT Honest. If this is your only option READ THE CONTRACT! I assure you that youll find HIDDEN FEES.EDIT: According to the Better Business Bureau there is currently a Government Action against this dealership for what appears to be False Advertisement!
This is bad, REALLY BAD. Ive been coming here for service for years. Lately, the service has gone to hell. Theyve been very pushy, but the quality isnt as good as it used to be. I took my car in for brake service, but returned in a few weeks for a re-service due to squeaking. They wanted to charge me to fix it. I email the service manager, Martin, and he took care of it. That was awesome. But then, the next time I called to get information and pricing for a major fix, the service person wouldnt tell me his name, cursed on me and then hung up, while I was being nothing but courteous. I think that after my last complaint, they for probably have me on the bad client list. I called Honda USA and even they said theres nothing they could do, so here Im. I was going to trade my old Honda Fit for a new one, but I guess Im going to Toyota. Thanks for the horrific customer service treatment, Honda of Hollywood.
Horrible Fix Shannon’s car
Manager and sales staff promised to return my VW to the dealer (after purchasing a new Honda Civic) within 2 days. That never happened. The VW ended sitting on the street for over a month before it was returned. I received angry calls from VW asking where the car was while trying to track is down with Honda. On top of that my VW got a $100 parking ticket. Awful untrustworthy place.
Great and professional attention!!
We took the car for a recall the representatives are always very friendly, polite and most of all proffesional while you wait they offer the best coffee I ever had My brother and me went there 2 times. And I may say I miss the coffee and not having another recall to go back they treat you like family 😁 Thank You
Honda as a company in general is wonderful if the cars are made in America not very big fan of the ones that come from China because majority of the vehicles do come from China but if theyre made from America that is a place I would love
Very professional and helpful staff members at this Honda of Hollywood dealer, i would recommend any one to come to this specific location. In particularly this gentlemen by the name of Edgar morales. The guy help me w/ getting the best deal I can and showed me from head to toe what is best for my buck. The guy was patient and was not pushy about getting his sale. He informed me of special w/ out me even asking & was very helpful through out my purchase. Im a first time buyer and he made every thing feel at ease. Again his name is Edgar MORALES!!! Thank you guys at Hollywood for the help... Will recommend more friends soon.
This is one of the best Honda dealerships in the U.S. Their staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this location. I always buy my Honda’s new and do routine maintenance at Honda dealership.
THIS PLACE WILL TRY TO RIP YOU OFF. DO NOT TRUST THEM! Brought my car into this Honda dealership today because my key broke. $201 to fix it which is around what I expected. They do a complementary inspection when you bring your car in. They informed me that my battery needed to be replaced, I needed new power steering and coolant fluid, and a wheel alignment (due to feathering). Now to the point and my problem, last week I went to the Honda dealership downtown for my regular maintenance where my battery was reported in great condition, they changed my power steering and coolant fluid, aligned my wheels, and changed my tires (I’ve driven maybe 50 miles since getting the alignment and new tires so feathering is not possible).
Not a good experience. Javier is a good guy that’s the only reason I gave them my business. No loaner cars, no water in waiting room when it was 115 outside. The price quoted on the phone was 1425 when I get there it’s 3000$ on a Honda Civic lol never buying a Honda again and not from here and service wise you guys need to not rip people off.
This is the 2nd car that Ive leased from Honda of Hollywood. They have a new policy where they wont allow you to return a lease without an inspection. They will not do the inspection themselves. They subcontract it out. When the subcontractors could not schedule to do the inspection untill after the lease was up, the people at Honda of Hollywood just shrugged their shoulders & said not our problem, and you cant leave your car here. So, after calling Hondas main number, Hondas finance department & sveral other dealers, I had to take it all the way to Culver City where it was no problem at all.
I had to have Honda Roadside Assistance come out and jump start my car (didnt know if that was gonna solve the issue, but it did). After that I headed straight to this Honda service center, since it was the closest one. I had never been at Honda of Hollywood before, but I wont hesitate to come back here if I ever have to. Javier Sanchez provided the best service I have ever experienced. I pulled in at 5:30 pm, told him about what had happened. He immediately said he was gonna do his best to help me out today, but he couldnt promise anything, which I completely understand because they close at 6pm. 20 minutes later he comes up to me saying that the battery was indeed fried, and that theyre gonna replace the battery right away. He really went out of his way to solve this as smooth as possible. As first impressions go, this was a really good one. Thank you!
I have never had such a poor experience in any car dealership I have ever been and visit, they set up an appointment with me over the phone with time and date, and they never knew about it when I arrived there, on the top of itthey were very aggrassive and not friendly to the point that you felt insulted and not welcome at all, I would never step my foot ever there again, and definitely not recommend this dealership my friends or anybody else.
Customer service? Nearly non existent here. I came in to test drive three Honda models as I am very close to purchasing a Honda. The sales rep who greeted me did not know anything about the cars - and I mean anything. He could not answer any questions, differentiate between models, specs, technical info, nothing. Then after test driving one car, he asked me to come back tomorrow. What?Save your time, go to Robertson Honda. They were helpful and knowledgeable.
Don’t buy a car here! They are scammers. They tricked my closed friend, who doesn’t have very good knowledge in cars. So they made her to trade in a Honda CR-V to a different USED Honda CR-V and in the contract they put lot of hidden fees.Just don’t go there! They are pure evil people! They should be in jail and whatever they do should be illegal. Ruining people’s lives!!!
I have had nothing but great Service from Randy and all the others in the service department. Even the parts guys are really nice!
HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Some of the rudest people I have ever met in my life. The Service Manager is the rudest man I have ever spoken too. Not only was he rude but he threatened to deny me service which is entirely illegal. I will be contacting my lawyer about this and following up. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. I would advise all friends, family and acquaintances to steer very very clear of this dealership. I have already contacted corporate Honda and filed a complaint against them for their horrific service. DO NOT GO HERE!
What a great place to buy any toys, but I went in for business, needed a generator for my maintenance company...as soon as I walked in an old work clothes they welcomed me like family!!! Ian up with a super quiet Yamaha generator.. thanks guys keep up the good work..Saul Powers
