The worst service I’ve ever recovered from a Kia dealership. Not only are they liars. But they are also irresponsible and you cannot trust what they say. They literally lie and say they are not culpable. Do not go here if you value your time or your money or honestly. I’m disgusted.
The service was good however they are not participating in the lease deals that are advertised online through Kia. Very confusing and unfortunate. EDIT: No one is participating in these online lease deals due to the shortage of vehicles. Rating updated to reflect this.

Been attempting to get a refund of my GAP insurance since June 2021 (it is now October 2021). Finance does not answer calls, refuses to return voicemails, and cannot be reached no matter how many times you call. I had to call APPI myself to find out they never sent in the GAP cancellation paperwork, APPI helped me to get it cancelled even though they said KIA DTLA should have done it. And here I am STILL waiting for KIA DTLA to send me my refund. Finally spoke with someone in finance 3 weeks ago who told me check was cut and waiting on a signature. Funny it takes that long for an exec to sign a check, no wonder their AC was out when we went to purchase, they probably were waiting to get a check signed to pay for it. Hands down would never purchase from them again, all they care about is getting your money and shoving you out the door. They had a customer and quickly lost it after this.
This place is the worst. I wish I had never brought my car to them. They kept my car for 2 months and never returned my calls. I left countless messages and nobody would call back. After 1 week when I dropped off my car for service they told me they didnt have a loner for me. When they finally gave me one 3 weeks into it they called they wanted it back and gave me a older car. Finally when they told me my car was ready to pick u show up and they tell me its at a different lot and would take 30 minutes to have it here.Worst experience dealing with people at kia downtown.
Disorganized and rude. I tried to purchase a car from this dealership because I had a specific car in mind, however, I was met with unprofessional staff that treated me as if I didnt have the means or the money to purchase a car.One employee had told me verbatim send me a check or youre not getting the car. Very rudely after I was trying to figure out how my auto loan from USAA was going to be processed. (Which is a direct deposit and not a check... But they didnt seem to know that)They had me waiting to the side with little to no updates and were not hospitable at all. Not only was Alex talking over my phone call with my dad and bank to get this purchase finalized, they were completely unaware of the process of using a USAA auto loan.After giving me the run around about my auto loan to try to get me to use their loan, I have needlessly had to have phone calls with the sales representative Alex, finance manager Gilbert, and my bank only to be told that everything will be solved tomorrow because their shift is over.Save your time and money if youre planning on using an option contract with them because it might take over a week to get your car.
I have never left a negative review of any establishment in my life but this is the single worst customer service experience I have ever had. From the moment I entered until the moment I left it was top to bottom awful. There is no communication between staff and customers nor between staff internally. Charlene is a star and should be promoted immediately. Joe/JD was very helpful. Every other aspect was completele garbage and I am very sad I spent any money here. Skip the dealer and go AAA Certified or use Glendale Kia if you must. I am never ever returning.
I bought a new Telluride and enjoy the car, but the check engine light came on within a week, and I had to bring the car in for service three times to fix it. They gave me the runaround each time. It took 4-5 hours of waiting each time. Not to be fixed. That’s 15 hours of wait time to get an O2 sensor replaced. They don’t keep even basic parts in stock. And the service advisor is unresponsive. Great car. Horrendous service. The manager of this service center should be embarrassed by all of the negative comments and Kia Corporate should be mortified.

May 22nd Saturday I came into this Kia location because I saw their online price for a 2021 Kia Soul EX at $22,090. The online price included a dealer discount of $1,485 plus $1,500 Kia Rebate. With my credit I qualified for the $1,500 Kia rebate by financing with Kia Downtown LA, which I did. Yet I was declined the dealer discount and was told by Alex I must also purchase the 5 year paint plan for $1,500 and get no dealer discount as advertised on the Kia Downtown Los Angeles website. I did not expect to be declined the dealer discount nor have to pay for a paint plan in order to purchase the vehicle. Total thats $2,985 more than I expected to pay. I was also declined when I asked if I could have the carpets included for free by the financing manager. The service department is committing fraud! Their service advisor entered fraudulent and misleading statements on our invoice and refused to remove them from the invoice after we caught it. Then the service agent HUNG UP ON ME!!! Not sure if theyre trying to fill quotas or what, but word to the wise, dont go here. Even Kia Corporate said they dont advise customers to go to this particular dealership. What a joke!
I went to get a gas cap for my Sedona! They were attempting to charge me $45 + tax! Went to another KIA Dealership and the price was much lower! Called to complain and was put on hold and no one came back to the line! Buyer beware!

Answered all my questions and concerns. Best of all I have a low credit score but with his hard work he made it possible for me to drive away in my new KIA Carnival 2022.
Awesome service . They honored their price that was posted online by them. Took less than 5 min to come to an agreement. Very easy payment and warranties explanation. Best dealership to come to if you’re looking for a new car to buy. Salesman to look for is Gabriel Alonso. Both manager and salesman made made the purchasing process fast and easy . No bs!!
I recently bought a car here and they offered me the extended Warranty, lojack, and cilajet it sounded like a good deal they told me its only 40 dollars more on your monthly payment. It sounded like a good deal but the next day I realized how much money was added on my car loan I decided to cancel everything. First I called the finance department and asked if I can cancel the Warranty he told me that it had been initiated and I couldnt cancel. Then I told him dont I have 30 days to cancel THEN he was like yes but u have to come to the dealer and sign cancellation papers. Why didnt he tell me that in beginning, that same day I went to the dealer and he had me waiting for 2 hours only for him to take 5min to cancel my Warranty. I asked if I can cancel lojack and the cilajet since they have not been installed on my car and he said no that its part of the car and I cant cancel it. Thats what I dont understand if I havent installed it and I dont want it anymore why cant I cancel it. I just want to let everyone know that the addons and the extended warranty are optional dont get them or else they will give you a hard time canceling it.
I had a WONDERFUL experience at Kia of Downtown LA! I went in to the dealership knowing my budget, and with a list of certified used cars in mind that I wanted to check out. I worked with Gabriel, and he never once pressured me into anything. Quite the opposite, he was ready and willing to work within my budget to get me exactly what I wanted. I would recommend him to anyone looking to buy a new or used car! I even felt the manager and Chris in finance were both on my side, checking all my boxes and getting me in and out of the dealership in decent time. This was my first car buying experience and I wouldnt hesitate to come here again. Thank you guys so much!!

From all of the experiences Ive had, this must be the worst experience Ive ever had.If you wish to not loose up to 5k worth of your hard earned money, do not even look into going here. You will only be treated as a customer until you sign the papers, then they wont event try and look at you when you come back with general questions.Do not ever sign up for their warranty, I personally had to cancel my warranty due to the fact that their service center and financing team cant even communicate with each other to solve my issues and while I had cancelled, they did not even notify me of what sort of options I had and ended up receiving only 20% refund.Front desk agent doesnt even seem like she likes to work there, shes was very rude, and always seems to have an issue when I call in to ask to simply speak with an agent I signed with.When I finally got my chance to speak with the financing agents, they were also rude, if they are not making money, they just seem to not care. What a damn shame.They dont even have 0.0000001 % of respect toward their clients. I would sue them but id rather make more money from not wasting my time and energy with them any longer.
I had an amazing experience at KIA DTLA! Brandon in sales was very patient and knowledgeable. Eloy the Finance & Insurance Manager was helpful and made sure I understood everything since I was buying my first car. Overall loved my experience! 11/10 recommend. Thank you KIA DTLA!
I just got a new Telluride from here last night. Alex was our sales person. He was so great! The finance person was too. So glad I ended up purchasing my vehicle here. Totally recommend.
I took my car in for a recall they had notified me about, two weeks passed and I had to call Mark Mejia (a representative) to get information about my car he never had any information for me. That should’ve been my first sign to take my car back. I have not had my car for three months now. They kept telling me that I needed to fix one thing after another. I finally said enough and took it to my own mechanic and he said the work they did was unnecessary. Now I had to pay an extra 600 to get my car fixed. This place will make up issues to get every penny from you. Please consider going anywhere else. The employees don’t care about you or what they do to your car.
Terrible service my 2016 Kia Optima has been in the shop for 4 months because of the turbo waiting for a backlogged part so they gave me a loaner a little forte no where near the luxury I have on my car but I still have to pay the same car note for my luxury Kia and they still don’t have any idea when the part will come in well I’m tired my next car will be a Honda

I spoke to soon these ppl are a joke. I told them 1 had 3,500 down payment and I wanted a 300.00 car note on a 26,000 car. They told me I needed 10,000 and my payments would be 500,00 a month LMMFAO. For the last 3 years Kias have had problems they discontinued one of there models because they blow up. I wouldnt mind a 500 dollar car not for a BMW really a Kia wow. And then they called the other car dealerships & told them not to sale me a car. Oh trust and believe its not over I will be contacting the BBB Run or hang up your phone if Maya Fakih answers. FIND Another Dealership all together they Commiting lot of frauds here.
The sales person who approached me in the parking lot was very rude and unprofessional.He called me Hey my friend. I dont think it is a professional way to call a customer who visits their dealership first time. I asked him how much the monthly lease payment for Sorento 2021 was, but without asking me a lease term, milege, and downpayment, he said $650 a month. I told him that the payment was higher than I expected and he relied how much do you think it was, $300? What kind of sales person he was. I was very disappointed the way he spoke. The owner of the dealership must educate their sales person how to speak to the customer prior to having them approach to the customer. I dont recommend this dealership to anyone.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE EVERY DEPARTMENT!!!!They are only getting a one star because you cant select zero! This company is horribly to try and do business. Their Internet sales department is terrible. The parts department is terrible. The customer service on the phone is horrible. Multiple people in multiple departments will transfer you around and after you sit on hold for 20 minutes...they will pick up the phone and tell you that department closed. This is not a place you want to do business....If you are looking for a car....go with Hyundai. They have the same warranty...and better customer service!

DO NOT USE THIS DEALERSHIP...Purchased parts online. Process was smooth and user friendly. The internet parts department is horrible. I have called numerous times to reach anyone. Voicemails are full or not returned. The person in the regular parts department was not able to help since it is a different department in a different building. I have tried to call a general manager also transferred to a dead end voicemail. I placed my order on 4/21/2021 it is currently 5/13/2021 and I have now tried to cancel my order and still cant get anyone to return a call or voicemail. I am sure I will have to report fraud on the card I used to place the order to prevent them from charging me for the order.I would rather buy parts from a chop shop at least I can get answers there.I would never recommend using them for anything ever.

I would give this 0 stars if I could. My wife and I purchased Kia Sorento 2021 on March 4th at this dealership. We drove all the way from San Diego. When it came time to sign the paperwork, we said we didnt want any extras. It was late in the day and we were tired. The finance writer said they made a mistake and we had to resign. Somehow they snuck in a 1520.00 warranty. When I became aware three days later we called and were told they would make it right. LIARS!!! Its been 111 days, so I called the warranty company (Portfolio) and was informed that they dont even have a record of that warranty. This stealership wont answer our calls so now I am forced to sue them. Do yourself a favor and buy elsewhere. They will rip you off, trust me.

I want to negotiate a purchase online! Beware they dont offer Kias rates on money factor or residual for a lease. They try to scam you into paying more. If you bought here, you were taken.
Wow where to begin! Well to start do not attempt to buy a car from this dealer! At first they were great, worked out a deal on the phone since I live a ways from them. Then as I’m on the way there to purchase a new Sorento they decide to call and say the manager wants to add 2k extra to the price. After we already agreed on numbers. So they lost a sale because of an extra 2 k markup. Oh well for them. Bought a new Sorento from Another dealer and got it below sticker price! So I got what I wanted but they lost a customer. Haha sucks for them. Avoid this dealer!!!!
First mistake: I was skeptical. A KIA? Never have I ever even been interested. It just wasn’t my thing. The stinger caught our eye so we started shopping. Fell in love with the k5! Stylish. Clean. Better pickup than the Accord or Camry. Roomy. Amazing sound system. Stylish. We got the wolf gray and red interior. When I say we shopped this car, I’m not lying. I got quotes from leasing brokers, from actual dealers. I was told by 3 different dealerships that the price I got was impossible. From my sales agent, to finance, I was in and out in an hour. I don’t know what these two star reviews are about. EVERYTHING about my experience was beyond 5 stars!
Horrible customer service do not patronize this dealership, parts department is a joke you call them about a order and they say hold please and then either hang up or send you to a full mailbox. Manager is obviously uncaring.
The overall feel of the service dept. was hectic. No one seemed quite sure what everyone else was doing. That being said, I was an hour and a half late for my appt. and they fudged my arrival time so that they would still see me that day. At first they had said the car would need to be kept overnight, but a short time later as I was removing items from the car, said it was all done and I could go....after I had phoned for a taxi. Getting the keys and final sign off also took longer than I expected. Overall I spent the whole day downtown meandering about and waiting for my car. Not a very productive day.
Worst place ever!! They dnt know when to say no more customers. It was so packed my appointment was at 11am didnt get seen till almost 12. Then it took 2hrs 1/2 for a oil change. I also had a light bulb change. I end up pay 119. Plus for a oil change & a light bulb. They also charge me the wrong price & wont fix it. The cashier would not give us the receipt till we sign it. Then where told that we signed it an agreed when we didnt. They wont give us the copy till we sign shady lost our business. Plus other people left to because took to long an she was there for a 4 time she said this place sucks. I see why. 😡😤

I went here to order a new key fab for my car. The wait just to be seen was a bit long, but expected. However the attendant that helped me was fast, knowledgeable and nice. I was out in 10 mins after he helped . Will be back hopefully with less of a crowd.
Was there last weekend ready to purchase a car. Negotiated the price and terms and was ready to sign. As soon as they ran my credit they come back and changed the terms on me. Then they have the audacity to tell me I can either take it or leave it. If I would have known they were going to change the terms then I would have never consented on my credit being run! If youre in the sales industry, your customers need to trust you and at this point I lost all faith with them. To this day, no manager has reached out to talk to me about my experience. Ill also be filing a complaint with corporate, because I dont know if theyve done this to other unsuspecting customers or not. Customers beware!!

Whatever you do DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THIS PLACE!!! If I could give it zero stars I would. The customer service is terrible. They rarely answer the phone. If you get through the service adviser is never available. If you do catch the Service Adviser he is going to lie to you. If you leave a message they will not return your call. This includes the Service Manager. I took my car in on a Sunday. On Monday I was told I would have my car back by the end of the week. Two and a half weeks later they finally tell me my car is ready. This is after me showing up twice to personally ask where my car is. And to top it off...when I went to pick my car up today, they couldnt find it! Really?!!! Save yourself the headache and torment...just stay away...far away from this place.

Here is my experience: My Kia Soul EV car there twice because my car wont charge beyond 55 miles. I have a 10 year warranty car. The 1st experience was a nightmare and waited 5 hours and at the end of that day on January/20/21 my car charging behavior did not change. Therefore, due to fact that this is the only Kia Service Department in Los Angeles I was forced to take my car there again. My vehicle cant make it outside the LA Area. My car has been with Kia Downtown LA since Wednesday, 04/28/2021.They have basically hijacked my car. When I call I get placed on hold every time. My advisor Manuel Miramontes is never available to provide an explanation with the status of my car and why it wont hold a charge. When requesting to speak to Jose Zuran, Manuels Supervisor, I get absolutely no response from him either. This type of treatment must be illegal, frustrating and incomprehensible. Downtown KIA needs to reform their current practices and procedures. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR CAR THERE EVER!!!!!!!
I agree with others that say 1 Star is too much. We dropped our car off Thursday morning, told it would be $200 for diagnostics (we had an oil leakk, appearing to come from the oil pressure sensor), and they called us at the end of the day saying that it was the oil pressure sensor, but they didn’t have the part. It would also cost us $350 for the repair, and they waited until the end of the day to let us know our warrantee didn’t cover it. They said they’d try and get the part on Friday. They call us Friday morning and say they can’t get the part till Monday, and we make it clear we can’t be without our vehicle until then. We ask if we can retrieve our car (planning to complete the repair ourselves. We only used the center because we were under the impression we would be covered by our warrantee), and they say no because it has an oil leak. But they’ll try another dealer to find the part.They call midday and say they found the part. We receive no further communication. We just went over there to receive an update because they weren’t answering their phone. The rep says that he doesn’t have any answers and he’ll reach out to find out why it’s not fixed yet.Come to find out that they have the part, it’s on the car, BUT THEY DON’T HAVE A TECH TO FINISH THE REPAIR!I understand that it’s a business and employees need to take their breaks. But it took us almost an hour to receive that update. They had cars coming in and out, but they didn’t have a tech available to complete our repair. My husband had to leave for work, and we’re going on day 3 of no car because we made the mistake of using an incompetent and unprofessional center. I urge anyone that has a Kia in LA to avoid this center at all cost.They have no time management, no competence, and no sense of decency or professionalism when it’s comes to their customers. I have no plans of using this center ever again, and at this rate, I don’t plan on purchasing another Kia in the future.

This guys LIE straight out! I took my car in for a recall, they said it would be ready the same day (Friday) I got it back until sunday.....every time I called they wouldnt answer....on top of that..they tell me my car needs a new battery when mine was perfectly fine....also they told me it needs a tune up....funny because Im a mechanic and had performed a tune up prior to taking the car....and last....believe it or not (Im writing this review as we speak) they dont know, where my car is how stupid is that? So they dont have my car and they dont know who put it anywhere unbelievable!
These people are the worst! Cold transfers back and forth when you call. They keep your car for weeks at a time in service. They argue with each other they point fingers at other departments never accepting responsibility for their faulty work. I STRONGLY advise not to purchase your vehicle here or take the car in for service here. ATROCIOUS SERVICE.

Loved the whole process from start to finish! Quick drove up from San Diego and Chris had my car ready. Finance was ready for me for quick signing and loved the customer service and communication through out the process!
It hasnt even been one month since I purchased a vehicle at this dealer and I already regret it! Finance manager Chris and ALE are the worst in customer service they refused to reimburse me for something called cilajet that has not even been applied to my vehicle. Hopefully someone reads this and thinks twice before purchasing a vehicle at trophy downtown LA ..two thumbs down!!very very disappointed
We had a great experience at Kia DTLA. We were helped by Adalid, who was the best! He listened to us, was very knowledgeable and was really funny and cool. He made the entire experience smooth and easy, and he was honest and understood what we were looking for. Recommend him 100%. We ended up going home with a 2020 Kia Rio and we love it. By far the worst dealership to deal with. I originally purchased my vehicle on Covina valley. My car gave out and we had to take into a dealership a lot closer to us. It’s almost going to be two weeks and I have yet to get status on my vehicle. I have to call excessively and no one is able to help. They give me the run around and say they’ll call me back, yet that never happens. This is first dealership that apparently can’t have someone else take out a loaner on my behalf, I have a demanding job and can’t take it out myself. Apparently they have to be under the same policy, so I had to rent a vehicle through enterprise and had to pay about $1,500 b/c this Kia has failed to help or get me a loaner. I would have rather paid the $300 to get it delivered to Kia in Covina valley b/c I know they would’ve helped a lot more.I do not recommend this dealer as well. No to mention in the beginning we would call and try to get ahold of any service advisor and we could never get ahold of them until my husband stopped by just to find the service advisor sitting next to the phone letting it ring while she was on her personal phone.I honestly hope I get some kind of information b/c being without a car, having to rent one out of pocket and having to call EXCESSIVELY is taking a toll on my personal life and work.
I originally wanted to go to Mazda and get the CX-30, and this day i was going to skip out on Kia and go to Mazda first, but i just happened to swing by Kia because i wanted the Sorento (was looking for a 7 seater at the time). Brandon went above and beyond, great salesman, he went above and beyond, was very knowledgeable. After looking at the Sorento, Niro, and Seltos. He mentioned the K5 (which i was only looking for SUVs/Crossovers) and i initially wasn’t too enthused because of wanting to stay in the body type i wanted. Brandon explained to me my options for leasing and what was best, didn’t make me feel like i was being ripped off and how things would workout in the long run and gave me the comfort of feeling i was making the right choice and i couldn’t be happier with my decision. So if you ever get the chance to shop for a Kia ask for Brandon. I plan on seeing him again if he is still there once my contract is up.
Absolutely horrible!! I was looking on cars through TrueCar and it sent thrm mu information. They non stop called and texted atleast 10 times a day. Im talking 8am on a Sunday morning. I spoke with someone on Saturday afternoon and said i might stop in if i had time. They then proceeded to make an an appointment for me. They compleatly crossed the line into HARRASMENT. I get its slow selling cars right now but they just chased away a person with this type of repeated and multiple attempts that had gone unanswered for or over a week.
When you call they give you different information than when you come to the department and the answer is that the person who answers does not know all the information. The customer service attention is very bad

The worst service ever possible, My car is under warranty and with the kia dtla service center. It has been 50 days and I dont have an update what is wrong with my car. I call 2 times a day and nobody picks up or have no update.The strange thing is they dont even take responsibility to call you back and tell us what is happening.Other thing I want to add is when I asked for a courtesy vehicle they told me they cannot provide me because I am 24. I am like you guys sell cars to people who are 24. This trophy Kia is the biggest scam, Avoid it at all cost.
Horrible Service waited 2.5 hours for finance! Paid my Kia off a year and half early and needed to cancel GAP insurance. I was told by both Kia motors and portfolio gap that I needed to go to the dealership were i purchased my car to cancel it. The dealerships finance manager says they can’t cancel it because I bought it under a different owner! Why does that matter it’s KIA! My advice don’t purchase a KIA! Their dealerships are trash! Their employees let you sit for hours if your not there to buy a new car.. oh and if you were given a certificate for lifetime oil changes they won’t honor it. They gon get sued just like SAGE! I’m reporting to BBB! And FTC!
Been on Hold for 30 mins the number on the website didnt even Work . This is highly annoying as this has happened each time Ive called.They have never been rude just dont care to check or talk

Waste 2 days, No service made at all. DO NOT TRUST HEREI have visit this service center for my 2018 soul, Need to replace steering coupling.At my first visit- I had waited over 4 hours to just to checked up the car. they told me that they do not have the parts to replaced, I need to come back to do service other day. - NO SERVICE MADED2nd visit - I double checked the parts are ready, front advisor said it will takes 3 hours to be done. After I waited 3 hours, he told me that parts are still on the way so it will takes extra an hour or more. ????Also He told me that they have done some work already but 1 part is still on the way. I just look on my service record now, NO WORK PERFORMED.Please DO NOT TRUST what kia advisor told you. always check the record!!!

Really bad service,employees care only about charging, not about what the customer needs.I took my car for oil change,they recomended the 10,000 miles service,which costs 219.95,plus a 199 to check the tire sensor,I would have to pay 450,which I didnt have,all I needed was an oil change.
I had the unfortunate experience of being behind two porters who were transporting two Kia vehicles on the 110 freeway at approximately 7pm-7:20pm on 01/07/2021These two vehicles were going 90-100 mph in the fast track with paper plates. Obviously brand new vehicles belonging to Kia DTLA as no temporary tags had been issued and these are new vehicles they’re not from some BHPH dealer.They were driving a sedan and an crossover vehicle and with a total disregard for others safetyI tried calling but no one answers the phone at this dealership as well
I bought my first car all on my own in full in July. In October I was called and told I had to get my own smog check and that I’d be reimbursed. My temporary plates had also expired so I really needed to get my new ones and tags so I also called about that. I had called time and time again trying to get in touch with a representative and every single time I’ve been switched over to other employees and been told they’d call me back. When I finally got in contact with someone, they told me to go to my DMV in my area because they have my title and plates. I waited for hours at the DMV just to find out they didn’t have anything I was looking for and everything was with Kia still. I talked to Kia again they said they would send me my check and get a call later. I finally received my reimbursement later in November. Then I never received my title and registration. I had been calling about this for forever now and still nothing. My father finally was able to talk to a manager in finance and said I could be expecting my title by the end of November or beginning of December. We are now in the third week of December. I talked to people from the dealership about this the first week of December and they told me they’d give me a call back and nothing. I already my two parents reach out to people from Kia Downtown and nothing still. This was my first buying experience as an 18 year old and it has been the most frustrating, and stressful situation I’ve been in. They’ve been giving me the run around for so long now, I’m so over it. They obviously do not care.

Omari King, the salesman, was the defining component of the rating above. He was fantastic, and straight forward and legitimate in his approach! What a pleasure! The management should be happy to have him on their team. And, management should consider him mentoring your finance director, who was less than helpful, less than enthusiastic and did not do the job of the individual that did my previous lease, three years ago. Maybe Omari can help him step up his game as if the rating of the dealership depended on his performance, it would have barely reached one star. Yay for Omari, but hiss for the finance director! Still, I love my Kia!
HORRIBLE TERRIBLE VERY BAD SERVICE, my car has been in their shop for a whole week, MANUEL SALINAS, supposedly was going to call me to follow up, two days later I called and he said the whole engine needs to be replaced, and that he was going to call me back Friday, here we are MONDAY and still waiting for his call, I call to inquire about my car, get placed on hold, hes giving me the impression that he doesnt know what hes doing, not professional at all, this place needs honest and real professionals!!!! I didnt even wanna give this place one star, but had to in order to post... my two thumbs down!!!!
Horrible service mixed a very unsafe waiting time.... we had to wait in the middle of the street for 1 hour for someone to get us! theres no parking so people just line up in the middle of a busy street and wait for service writer to come to your car and help you. Talk about an unsafe job you have cars driver inches from them while there ASKING you questions in the MIDDLE of the street.Then Kal continued to help me out. Very unprofessional and rude almost like the customer would bug him and we were just in his way of waching videos online! Horrible place and very dangerous, will never comeback even if they paid me

Worst customer service at any dealer service center.. Technicians and associates waste time, too busy looking at their cell phones. No form of acknowledgment when entering, with or without appointment. 3 hours of my day off wasted to tell me they didnt have a tire! Ontop of everything trying to add extra costs for something already covered.. Management does nothing. Too many workers not enough work being done
I was there about couples weeks ago to have it service on my Kia Forte ! First thing o would like to share is am impressed the way how this people take care about my car, one of the workers sanitize my car by fogger or steamer machine,! Then cover my steering wheel and drive in my car, device was fast and complete! I recommend this place to take care about you service Kia carThanks Kia DTLA
Horrible customer service at Parts and Service dept. You have time for a dozen minutes before someone comes out and assists you. The cashier has multiple duties, which means youll have to wait longer. Dont waste your time here.
I leased a Kia Soul 2019. And they forgot to give me the SD card for map and I have to beck for it I tell them to send it to me I call like 5 times to my dealer name ALEX!!!. The first time he told me he’s gonna send it over. I’ve been waiting for a week. I called again and this time he’s hung up!! On me so I have to go and get it by myself. So just don’t buy the car from ALex trust me before you buy he’s so nice and after that I’m so hated that guy. After a month it started the noise when I turned steering wheel.I mean come on gear soul car the top one. Just 3000 miles. So I go back for service it take 2 day to fix it. And then I pick up a car drive for 1hour the noise coming again!!!! So I go back left the car there it’s been 2 days they told me to be patient and that’s why I white the review. I’m a patient guy I never white review before but this is too much.
When the vehicle was first purchased they put my plates on incorrectly which caused my bumper to have 2 visible holes if I put my plates on the plate holder correctly. I was told that they’ll repair it but won’t give me a rental. They messed up but I had to go without a car to have them fix it. So now I have no plates on the fronts of my vehicle. Now each time that I’ve come in for an oil change they take a substantial amount of my day even with an appointment. 8 hours for an oil change and that’s with an appointment. I will NEVER buy my car from this dealership again. Unprofessional and there’s only one friendly employee here.
What an AMAZING experience I had at Kia of DTLA. After months and months of looking for a Telluride. Raymond was very helpful very informative and made our car buying experience easy. He broke everything down to me. He made sure we got the most for our trade-in. He even washed the car himself so that we would receive a detailed car. My husband and I love Raymond’s service. He went over all the technology that the Telluride has to offer. I give this place a 5 out 5. I recommended this dealership to my friends and family.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. You would assume that in 2020 with people able to buy cars online with no hassle dealerships would have more integrity with their customers but apparently not. When I entered this dealership I told the salesman I was pre approved through capital one. I was waiting on specific terms because my documents were pending, which was my first mistake. I told the salesman that I do not under any circumstances want my credit ran through multiple banks because I have the pre qualification. After the dealership “putting together the numbers” they inform me of the “terrible” terms capital one apparently have them, they could offer me better terms through Kia Finance. I was confused but after some time to think and putting my skepticism to the side, I agreed with the terms with Kia. After sitting down with the finance guy I was fed the spiel of the warranties and was offered multiple options. First he lied and said the vehicle didn’t have any warranty (which come to find out wasn’t true) he tried to convince me to buy anything he could think of. After I tell him I didn’t want any of it, he told me that Kia will not finance me unless I purchase their warranties (also not true). I told him if that’s the case I will buy a car elsewhere. He then tells me without the warranties Kia will give me a much higher interest rate and worse terms. I tell him I wanted to finance through capital one anyway so I’m not worried about it. He then tells me “oh you wanna go through capital one? Okay let’s get you those finance terms your credit deserves” and tells me I’m going to add 8% to the interest rate. I tell him that’s ridiculous and I’ll just leave and purchase my vehicle elsewhere. After a brief back and forth his fragile ego got the best of him from not being able to con me and he stormed out. Two different gentleman came in and we finally got the deal done WITH $72 LESS A MONTH THAN WHAT THE LAST GUY WAS TRYING TO CONVINCE ME TO SIGN FOR AND WITH 2% LESS INTEREST. Then 5 DAYS later, I get notifications from all 3 bureaus that the dealership ran my credit through FOUR BANKS, FIVE DAYS after I purchased the car. After both the salesman and the first finance gentleman assured me they would not run my credit through multiple banks. Then when I call and ask to speak with the manager about my issue they connect me with a finance guy who pretty much tells me “well you signed the paper to run your credit”. No integrity, just a typical shady dealership looking for any way to rip people off and make money in a declining market. Places like this are why people would rather buy from Carvana! Trust me, go somewhere else and don’t make the same mistake I did.
Dear KIA,What kind of service are you?A couple of months ago we started hearing strange noises, while breaking, beneath the driver seat in our car (kia Niro 2017). We took a car to your dealer KIA Downtown Los Angeles (Address: 1945 S Figueroa St, Los Angeles, CA 90007) for check in. They hold it for two days (!) and after that returned it back to us and told us they did not find anything wrong with the car, that everything is fine. (I am attaching a copy of Inspection Invoice they gave me)The sound did not disappear. We took the car again to the dealer service center and took one of your workers on the ride with us. He heard the noise and told us this is totally fine, that is how it is supposed to be, and all the models of this car has that noise. So we had nothing to do but just continue driving a car with that.But after awhile it started to be really disturbing to drive it with that noise, as it was clearly CLEARLY a sound of some object going back and force while accelerating or braking. We started to think that might be a bolt or something like that.So we took a car for the third time to the service! And only then they told us that they had to take the front seat off and some panels to get inside the car. And inside they found a CHAPSTICK. Service explained that the chapstick might got inside the car through the AC hole under the front seat.They put the bill in front of me for $375 (!) and told us that this is not a warranty case. That this is an issue not related to the car, but an outside object.I totally disagree with that! What do you mean this is not an issue related to the car? Your car has a HOLE in it where everything can go inside! I never heard anything like this! Am I supposed to carry inside the car only myself? This is ridiculous.This is clearly a manufacturing defect (maybe a flaw in design?). And it is not only about the money and time spent to fix that, this is about safety issue! What if it went under the breaking pedal? We could get into an accident, we could kill someone! And because of your service, you made us continue driving like this for three months! What if other objects will go in the same hole again? Am I not supposed to carry now anything inside? Am I supposed every time something goes inside go to the service and fix it for $400?I have complained to the dealer service that I am not going to pay for that as this is totally not my fault and the warranty should pay for that. But the workers of the dealer service couldn’t give me an answer, so the next day When I came in one hour, guess what? The manager was not there! I had to deal with the guy named Peter, who did help me a lot, as he finally get in contact with the manager on the phone and after a long and nervous complaining they agreed to take the cost of the repair to $150, (invoice also included) and I was forced to pay that as I needed my car, and they wouldn’t release it. I am still convinced this is totally not our fault for the manufacturing defects that your car has, so I would like to get a refund for that! Had to mention also that we had to wait around an hour after that to get my car released as they simply couldn’t find it on the site! What an unprofessionalism!All this information I sent to their website complaint form. After two of no response (even e-mail confirmation wasnt worked!), I gave them a call and they told me in their company no one even looks at my mine complaint.I asked them to give me an official response to my complaint by e-mail and they told me, this is not their business to take care of that type of complaints. They just kicked me out!I strongly do not recommend to have any business with KIA at all. Terrible experience with the car and with the customer service.

Do NOT PUCHASE a car from this dealer without knowing the value of the car. The salesman will gladly put you in a vehicle with you paying more that the car is worth. THEY HAVE ZERO INTEGRITY. Its the worst feeling knowing youve overpaid. DO YOUR HOMEWORK BEFORE YOU BUY. They suck.
