I am updating my previous poor rating as the Customer Service Manager, Jessica, after seeing this review, called me and said that they had erred in not providing me credit as previously requested and apologized for any inconvenience. She sent me a return FEDEX label to return the case and issued me a full refund for the case. She also said she would followup with Hunter to determine how this occured.**********************************************************************PREVIOUS REVIEWNo return for you!!I have been dealing with Sierra Madre for years and have been satisfied in the past but my recent experience was appalling and should be fair warning to all buyers!The purchase I made from their “on line swap meet” on 10 March, for my 356, included 2 carpet trim pieces and a 356 “replica tool bag”. Unfortunately the black dye on the tool bag had bled onto the white interior of the bag and left it with black blotches on the interior lining which made it ascetically unacceptable. I called Sierra Madre the day I received my order and spoke to Hunter Johnson who said that it stated that it was a “scratch & dent” sale and therefore they could not do a price reduction, refund or replacement. After I reviewed the documentation regarding the “swap meet sale”, and found nothing stating it was a “scratch & dent” sale, I forwarded that documentation along with the pictures of the tool bag with damage to Hunter for his review and edification.Hunter called me back and said that he received my email with the attachments described above but unfortunately, they were unable to provide me a refund as he was told by his superiors that it stated in the notification email to all its customers regarding the upcoming auction, that “all sales were final”. I responded that this too was not true and sent him a “screenshot” of subject email validating that it did not in fact state “all sales were final”.Once again Hunter went to his superior with the new information but once again my request to return and receive a refund was denied.It is difficult for me to understand why Sierra Madre is being so contumacious over a $40 product to a long and loyal past customer like myself. It surely doesn’t foster good will and it’s absolutely not fair.If Sierra Madre thinks that I will surrender on the issue and just go away, I can assure them that as a retired senior military officer seasoned in combat, I don’t surrender and this battle has just begun and will be costly to them in future sales as I will disseminate my concerns to all my Porsche Club collogues via emails and internet postings.Colonel James Vinci, US Army (ret)

I just reread a post I wrote two years ago about 4 defective wheels I bought and Jorges response which is absolutely contrary to what he told me over the phone. The wheels were defective in that not a single one of them could be balanced. When I called SM and ultimately spoke to Jorge he said I couldnt return them based on the fact I didnt like them. That was not the case. They were out of round and could not be used. The response from him on Google that I just now read, which was also posted two years ago, said they may have worked something out if I hadnt waited 1 1/2 years to report the problem. Thats a flat out lie. I asked for a refund and he said to send them back so that they could look at the wheels and make a judgement before giving me a refund. As you would expect. they said nothing was wrong with the wheels and denied to refund shipping-both ways, plus the price of the wheels. All in all the transaction cost me over $400.00. Before purchasing the wheels I had spent hundreds of dollars on parts from them over the years with no problems and spoke with Jorge each time I placed an order. This even though Stoddards gives a standing 10% discount on all purchases.

Being located in Japan it is not always easy for me to find parts for the 911 I have been restoring. Sierra Madre Collection has been a great source for the parts I needed. The inventory is impressive, prices are competitive, the staff super reactive and even the international shipping rates are good!

Ordered 4 new chrome aftermarket wheels. Wheels were so out of round none of them could be balanced. So, I had the tires dismounted and remounted on my old wheels at my cost of course. Called SM and asked them to have UPS pick them up. They said their policy was that the buyer pays for return shipping. I said that was understandable if I had ordered something and didnt like it, but why should I pay shipping for four worthless wheels? After some discussion about whether or not they would even refund my purchase for the wheels, which they did, they would not agree to reimburse me for shipping. So, Im out $288 for shipping and no wheels. This is how they treated a ten year customer. Needless to say I had them cancel my account and I havent bought from them since. I recently spent $5k at Stoddards which could have been theirs. Short-sighted business people.

Excellent and extremely prompt service. I had parts shipped to the UK, one of the parts had been damaged in transit, when I notified Sierra Madre Collection Sales they sent out replacement parts immediately. I would recommend their products and first class service.

Wonderful customer service. I bought headlamps for my 1973 RS Replica several months ago and eventually got around to installing them. It turned out I already had the same headlights. Silly mistake by me and faulty memory. I asked to return the headlights and get another product. In less than two ours I had an affirmative answer! Really well done by customer service and much appreciated.

I finally found the yellow headlight lenses I had been looking for at The Sierra Madre Collection. I had contacted 5 other Porsche suppliers, well known ones, with no success. They didnt have them and had no idea where I could get them.SMC shipped them promptly and they are perfect. Great look and function on my 75 911. These guys know Porsches.Don WP.S. They are legal.

Purchased a set of alloy wheel locks and matching lug nuts less than a year ago. I noticed the locks were fading and lugs were NOT. Sierra Madre stated they only warranty against defects and fading in less than a year is not a defect. It is a low quality part not backed by seller. Whether its covered by a warranty or not, just out of good business I would have sent a replacement set. Sierra Madre lost a customer for $45 lol, not smart.

I’m not one for writing reviews but this one is for all you passionate Porschephiles out there.I ordered servicing for a pair of rear calipers and was told that there werent any cores available so I would need to send in my set which would then be restored. I thought perfect since thats as concours as it gets. Unfortunately through some confusion one original caliper was lost/ sold to someone else. Many attempts led up to my car remaining up on blocks for three months. Even with Jorge Perez, President on board no help or solution was offered or found except for the return of my core charge that was held as a security deposit. Ending with completely being ignored, you are only left to draw your own conclusion that no one cares. Even after numerous calls and emails always politely and with respect, no explanation, no details, no apologies were expressed. For all you Concours dElegance types. ATE calipers do have slight variations if you care.No response and ghosting someone is simply no integrity, no respect and no class!
