Incredible help! I never thought this grocery store would be this valuable and supportive for me. They never bomb me on my exclusive requirements. Im profoundly dazzled by how they took care of the assistance accurately without any problems whatsoever. Awesome!

This is a huge Joanns store. Maybe you remember that several years ago, this store was a Pearl Art Supply. In case you dont know, it has TWO floors!The first floor contains all the art and craft supplies. The second floor is all the fabric, sewing machines and tools.I recently stopped by this store. The sales clerks were very pleasant and helpful. There was a good sale going on, and I picked up a couple of good deals.Its definitely worth a few minutes of your time, if youre in the area. Its worth a drive, if youre in the mood (maybe not during rush hour traffic).Oh yeah, did I mention that it has TWO floors? 😆

Sold me fabric that was cut in half. Ok, fine whatever... But then dont tell me I cant return half because its cut when that is the state it was sold!!! They even had the audacity to say its barely the amount that THEY sold me to suggest Im lying. Youre basically confessing you cheated me on top of it... Not worth arguing with staff because its not the individuals fault but the company should have a policy to NOT mark fabric as a continuous piece on the receipt if that is not how it was sold.Staff seems tired and overworked, they should clearly be paid more and trained better so they dont take their frustration out on customers...

Im giving this 5 stars because the service was fantastic, but I definitely feel like theyre understaffed and thats no fault of the employees themselves.Given the circumstances, the amount of assistance I received from the staff was top tier.

I like this location. Employees are welcoming and helpful. The store itself is well stocked and neat and clean. parking is very plentiful. Theyve never had horribly long checkout or fabric counter lines like ive experienced at the fallbrook and sherman oaks locations in west hills.I love their scrap paper and jewelry selections. theyre quite big and have plenty of beads and charms to choose from😁My ONLY conplaint is that the jewelry supplies are pretty pricey, but thats the joanns company istelf doing te pricing, im sure, not just this locations prices.I wish they sent out or made available more coupons. That would definitely be a reason to shop there even more frequently.

One star because i wasn’t able to buy anything after wasting my time shopping for stuff. okay so my first issue is this store isn’t ADA compliant. their elevators are not usable and there’s no explanation why. and then second, i tried to pay for my stuff and i just got a new debit card and my bank hasn’t sent me my pin yet, and they said they couldn’t process my debit card as credit. like okay…. that’s weird. so then i tried to use a gift card I have, that doesn’t have a chip. their system insisted that i insert the chip even though it doesn’t have one, and it wouldn’t let me use either of my cards. the only thing the cashier said they could do was hold my stuff for me, even though that doesn’t make a difference because i don’t know when i’m getting my pin and it is their fault that their POS system won’t take my cards. it’s ridiculous. biggest waste of my time.

There is a variety of things for everyone. From craft projects just for kids to fabric for clothes or upholstery. It has floral arrangement stuff, cake and cupcake decorating and baking, stickers, scrapbooking stuff, iron ons for clothes, yarn, paint and paint supplies, markers, wood burning and so much more. There is something for everyone here and the employees are always friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place.

Very nice and friendly. I forgot a had something the next day and needed to grab supplies last minute. I went in with a list and asked a sales associate to help me. They helped me find my items in no time and I was out of there before they closed. I didnt get her name, but the girl who helped us on the second level during the night of March 31st was super helpful and very sweet. I wanted to give her a shout-out but I forgot her name!

This craft store has nothing that we needed. No stamp & dies. No white card stock .

Any place that sells fabrics and crafts is cool...especially when you have down to earth, genuine people of all walks of life ready to help without hovering.Couple that with top quality material and you have a recipe for happy customers .

This is my daughters go to spot for sewing supplies. They also have a wide variety of yarn and jewelry making supplies. When it comes to planner supplies, this location is a bit on the light side, which is kind of disappointing. On the other hand, if you like to decorate seasonally, you will find lots of stock for that purpose. If you are a person with disabilities or you have small children, its important to note that this location does not allow restroom access to their customers. There is also a minimal amount of parking, and its time limited.

This is my favorite, they always have what I need. End of the year decorations for our middle school service learning club! Their theme this year was the food deserts in South LA.

This store pretty nice for arts and crafts supplies. Some items are a bit overpriced, BUT if you shop here regularly, do yourself a huge favor and download their app. The app always has crazy good deals and coupons. On my first trip to this store I got an additional 60% off just because I downloaded the app! And every other day they send me upto 70-80% coupons. I have only been there once to buy some stuff for my sister, but if youre into arts and craft, I highly recommend this store. (I still compare the prices with Amazon though).

I have been going to this joanns for over ten years. Theres always great coupons and sales. There is a very large choice of fabrics with quick fat quarters to grab and go. Theres not a lot of embroidery, resin and candles material because they have a bit of everything, including baking! I think the dmc thread is pretty overpriced and I wished they had special prices for bigger quantities. But when only one color is needed they do often have 40/50% off on one item. Cashiers are always really nice.

This is a complete crafting store, I can find everything to make it my self!!!

Shopped in store @ LaCienega and Pico Blvds. Staff is ALWAYS helpful, knowledgeable, welcoming, and pleasant. Store has a large and varied selection at reasonable prices. Bought more than planned, as usual. Great place!

I love Scrapbooking, especially books, up to 1st year of life for babies. I love a variety of colors and designs, my 1st visit to Joannes in LA l loved it! I found a great selection of paper, for several themes they had the largest amount of craft paper for babies, baby boy or girl and great prices.My go to store for scrapbook paper.

I went to here a few days ago I went specifically to get bead and stuff to make necklaces I found everything I need I liked how they had even like a starter packed which was great and I got it what did upset me was that there was not enough carts or baskets so I had to carry my things by hand it was very frustrating and once I got to the cashier I was told to download the app to get coupons ofc I saved 20 dollars and I appreciate the employee telling me to download the app but I wish I could have been informed about this at the door or when you walk in just to not hold up the line and to save time now this store is great but if you are looking for great prices and good stuff too I recommend Moskatels this store is located in downtown LA not a great area but it’s worth it cause of the amazing stuff you can find there and prices

Amazing store. Just wow so clean and massive. One of the best craft stores Ive been to. Its 2 stories, well lit, and well organized. Very friendly staff and even helped with getting me a discount code. Would highly recommend if you like crafts to stop here.

My first time here, Came here just to pickup some Rit fabric dye and dye remover to save money on having to replace a faded out seat cushion for my ikea poang chair. ( replacement cushion for that chair wouldve run me about 50 bucks)After picking up the dye and remover, i spent some time exploring and briwsing the whole store. Really a cool place for any artist or craft enthusiast. Store was expansive, clean and well stocked and supplied. The employees were exceptionally friendly and helpful as well. High marks for this store!P.S. this store was the ONLY PLace that had the dye color i wss desperately searching for- Rit Dymore Racind Red.😃😃😃😃

This was my first time at the Hollywood location. Walking in my first impression was that this Joannes was super cute. I was welcomed by a friendly greeter who disinfected my cart when I needed one. The way that they displayed their items was cute. Good job merchandising team. It was inviting and made me want to walk up and down the aisles. My only issue with this location was the limited selection of yarn. Im used to going to the Joannes in Glendale which is bigger. My main reason for shopping is for yarn and other crochet related items. I was surprised to find such a small yarn section. But, I guess Ive been spoiled by the bigger Glendale store. The other thing that I wasnt a fan of was that there were several times that I was looking at a particular type of yarn and there was no price tag below it. I had to ask for the price. I found this inconvenient. While I liked my experience I will probably only be stopping by the Hollywood location when I see that the item Im looking for is only in stock there. I live equidistance from the 2 locations and would prefer the option with a higher chance of having what Im looking for in stock. I would recommend this location tho to anyone who lives in the area.

I always find more to buy than I came in for! The gals at the cutting table are usually friendly and efficient, and the cashiers are pretty attentive too. Usually there is plenty of parking. I do come during the week so I cant speak for Saturday or Sunday. So glad to have a JoAnn store in my neighborhood!

My first time in a JoAnns and OMG 😍 I could move in 🥰 they had everything on my list and MORE. Since covid-19 I have been getting crafty with youtube days and I was in heaven. The store was clean and organized, which surprised me. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Even the other customers were polite and followed safety guidelines. They have an app to get deals and stay updated on merch. Will be going back soon.

My store experience was weird. Then when I made a purchase it got bizarre. The manager has zero customer service skills lacks in all fields. She was my cashier . I would never shoe at Joannas Elizabeth the manager was condescending an rude.

Shelves were empty throughout most of the store which was probably due to the major preholiday sales. Carts were sanitized in a timely manner. There was a staff member at the door monitoring how many customers who could enter and shop. There was hand sanitizer in many areas. The two open register areas were well protected any were sanitized after each customer. The cashier helped me with the coupons in my phone.. Would DEFINITELY shop there again.

My own little slice of heaven ❤️ some of the best Ive had in a while This place is a such a gem honestly I could get lost (completely on purpose of course). Its massive but totally capable of an in and out trip when you use the parking correctly.

Coolest and cleanest Joann Ive ever been to. Fabric is upstairs and overlooks the yarn. Amazing view for a knitter! There is an elevator too.

The store is pretty big but its not near as good as there Sherman Oaks location!

Welcoming staff but they sometimes let store get too crowded (for COVID). There is probably no one keeping a head count. Id advise going off hours to stay safe.

This is a decent store or art supplies. I was hesitant to go in today because I was there last week and observed a man shoplifting a full bag of items. I followed him directly outside the store and attempted to get him to return the items. No one from their staff came out to assist me and when I came back into the store no one appeared to care.I purchase an item but I will look for another art supply moving forward.

The older woman upstairs working in the fabric who said her name was Maria was rude, for no apparent reason. I asked for clarification about sale price because one sign read different from the other. She approached me with attitude and a belittling tone as if I was dumb, when really she wasnt trying to understand my question. I know that social distancing is in protocol but she wouldnt come into the aisle to look at the signs I was asking for clarification about. So I asked her again as simply as I could, and this time she just told me that I can find out when Im at the register. This was super rude and unhelpful, Ive been to a few Joann locations and Ive never had anyone approach me in such a way. However the store was clean and mostly organized. Plus the other woman in the fabric department and the cashier downstairs were much more kind/helpful.Also aside from this specific location why do all Joanns have seemingly good coupons that you can use on regularly priced items and then you get into the store and everything has some ridiculous cheap sale so that you cant use your coupon?!

I only go here if Im desperate and regret it each time. Staff is rude and phone lines dont work then argue with you about if they work. They advertise curbside pickup for marketing only, it doesnt actually exist. I had to wait in line outside and was ignored once I got inside until I got my order. 3 different women working all had a bad attitude, a man working was the only pleasant one. I understand this is a strange time for businesses, my issue is not being busy. My issue is treating customer s like humans.

They usually have whatever you need but I just wish there were more employees on the floor to help find those random items. The lady working at the fabric cutting desk doesnt have much attention for questions.

My experiences are hit or miss. The staff has been unpredictable, I have had some act like I was feces and ignored me (at the fabric counter.) Also some who have been really helpful. I only go there because it is close to my house. If there were other options I would perfer that, over this store.

For generalist fabric-related and jewelry materials, JoAnns is going to beat a Michaels, just how Blick beats out both of them for fine art supplies. Great selection of fabrics and things to make items that dress you or your home. You can find good deals too if you come with some regularity. Love their clearance and fabric remnants.
