Absolutely made my night. I got take out. Food was still hot when I got back. The empanadas are fantastic. The artichoke one is so unique and perfect. Staff made great suggestions wine wise. I wish I could sit at the bar and sample all their suggestions. Knowledgeable, kind, fast. Thank you. I wish my photo did it better justice.
The place is cool, the food was delicious, the service could have been better... the servers were attentive when they made it to our table but seemed like they were really tired and in a rush... it wasnt a particularly busy night so I didnt find a reason to have to wait a good 10mins before anyone came over to ask if I wanted a drink or order something. Though the food was delicious I dont think Ill be coming again, and it wasnt based on the service necessarily, I feel like its one of those, yeah Ive been there before places but I dont need to make the effort to go back.
Nice place. Went at night and the place is sort of dark. Great for going out on a date. Food is slightly more expensive than other places, but that is because they dont ask for an additional tip.The quality of the food is noticeably good. The veggie burger(their own made with black beans) was delicious, and their broccoli side was amazingly good. For desert I highly recommend their churros. Very soft and tasty.I originally thought an entree and side would not be enough of a food portion, but I was decently full with that.
Had an excellent happy hour experience. Was visiting my buddy across the street.$1 Brazilian wings$3 chicken sliders$5 empanadas (these were the most fantastic)I did enjoy their take on the Negroni (pictured)Ambience was solid, friendly bartender. Looking forward to check this out and try some other parts of the menu.
Wonderful place for takeout during covid! Ridiculously cheap prices for what high quality youre getting. I encourage people to grab empanadas on a walk through the neighborhood, its a really nice way to break up the day! One for $4 is the perfect snack. Or, pick up some charcuterie and wine for an evening at home. Additionally, I really appreciate this business because of how pleasant theyve been to deal with as a person with allergies. Every time Ive called, theyve been extremely nice and helpful. A great part of DTLA!
One of my favorite spots to eat in South Park. During Covid Ive gotten a lot of take out from them and their food is excellent. Highly recommend!
Edwin Mills is located in the heart of Old Town Pasadena. Its the only Happy Hour Spot in Pasadena which has Happy Hour all evening. On Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays they even have live music at no extra charge!
Large portions, good food, reasonable prices, small space, prompt service.
Sooo delicious! I was very shocked! Take out is worth it.
Coffee was great while wait in for a friend. Nice vibe would ho back...yeah!
Fabulous food!! Unique flavors, everything we tried we loved. Fair prices. Very attentive servers. Its a gratuity-free restaurant so the food is priced to include hospitality. It was the perfect vibe for our Saturday night.
Stopped by to grab a tea which was great. Staff is very nice, and provided recommendations on the available drink. Will definitely be going back to try their food.
Not bad, but not great. Venue is average, food is average. Its fine if you are a local and need a quick meal or drink.
Had a good time with some friends. Love the decor here, great atmosphere. Will definitely come back. Food was really good also.
Really nice cocktails and we happened to make it during happy hour. Would definitely come back for drinks. The crackers with beer cheese was good but at $7 is really pushing it for a small plate of crackers and special spread.
They have changed their menu items in the past and this is by far the best menu they have had. The wings are great everything else has been different every time we order it. Just need to work on less frozen food and more consistency.
The staff was fine, not warm, they didnt make an attempt to connect as I was sitting for about 10 minutes at the bar, but they were efficient and the appetizers were tasty. it seems pretty basic, but the olives were my favorite app.
This is a place I have been postponing on visiting. But after I finally got around to going, I wish I would have gone sooner. The bartenders are kind and helpful. They went through the menu and specials with me. They recommended their favorite bites and drinks. The drinks are good and strong as it should be. The food was great! Flavorful and freshly prepared and cooked! The wings with that chimichurri Cream sauce was amazing! One of my favorites! They also have a frequent customer program that allows you to earn points towards money off a future visit! Not seen at many places so this is something quite unique! Overall, a must visit place for all! You cant go wrong coming here for a drink and bite!
I really love the place! The customer service is regularly fast, excellent vibes, super nice employees! barcito is awesome
Just had a fantastic business dinner at Barcito. The food & service was top notch and they were very accommodating for our large party. So happy to have this place in the neighborhood.
Greate atmosphere, friendly staff, nice cocktails... Food was good but heavy on garlic.Id recommend the animal style fries.
Great happy hour menu (both for small bites and drink deals). Its a good place to go with a friend to try a lot of different plates, though none were standouts in my opinion.
Great selection of wines and small plate meal chioces. Food is very good. Service is prompt and courteous. Out door patio with heaters. Overall a wonderful experience.
I went here twice in one week it was so good. The food was amazing. A fresh take on traditional Argentina dishes, with respect for the originals. Great service and the owner is such a sweetheart.
Great place to relax, people watch, eat good food or all the above. I will be back with my coworkers. The place has a cool atmosphere.
Really love that gratuity is factored into prices and not have to worry about it. Had the pork empanada and really liked it. Great atmosphere and staff.
Go for Apertivo Hour before a Clippers game. Good service. Good empanadas. To clarify some menu vagueness: the snack trio is a few potato chips, a few olives, and a handful of corn nuts.
Delicious food! And the best latte, ever! The owner is great. And no tipping required.😋
Great food, great service and great space. Menu isnt big but whats available is delicious. The staff is friendly, courteous and helpful. Good spot for large and small groups but parking is a bit difficult.
Not what I was expecting, but a good time all the same. Food is good, prices are very good for the location. Loved the fries!
This place is awesome- great environment and very friendly staffs.my favorite menu here is the..cha chang myun and tang soo yookyay
Food was better than I expected at a not cheap and not expensive price range. Our bill with one drink and three dishes plus tax and tip was $60. The most memorable was our asparagus empanada which had a deliciously chewy dough! Fried cheese sticks were yum too but not necessarily unique! It was oddly empty on a weekend night. Hope to stop by again when Im in the area!
Cute spot with great food. I had the gnocchi and nitro cold brew. Both were great. They give you a lot of the cold brew. It was actually too much for me and I gave half to my friend.
This might be my new favorite place close to the LA Live complex. Great throwback to the eating bars. Spectacular food here in small to medium shareable plates. The chicken dish is a standout.
The place serves small plates. Tapas? Good empanada, but not really worth $5. By the way, this place says, no tipping, but they always round off and keep your change. So odd because they dont tell you. I like the atmosphere and would like to come for a drink. Only been during my lunch break.
Excelent Place. Cozy, Good Drinks, Well located.
Cute little spot. Hits different after they changed the tip policy and kept the prices the same
Nice bar to pregame before going to Staples Center
Great place to have a creative cocktail, unique options, staff is extremely friendly, loved the ambiance. Great place for date night or low key night out with friends!
Great place, the atmosphere is great! I love it
Filled me up. The staff was helpful and kind. Prices were fair.
Restaurant refused to do split checks. Waiter was extremely rude about it. There’s a reason why they automatically include gratuity.Response to barcito reply:First, from the get go we made it clear we wanted separate checks, as indicated when we said Put her first drink on my check. The waiter failed to inform us the restaurant was unable or unwilling to provide separate checks. Error 1.Second, when the bill then came in one long running list, we took the time to divide each seat with a card or cash, plus tax. Upon seeing this, the waiter flatly told us it could not be broken up with tax. When I was a former waitress over fifteen years ago, the technology I used enabled seats (i.e., separate checks). And you could run each seat separately, with the tax percentage determined by the total for each card. I doubt the current restaurant software is no longer able to do such simple tasks. Error 2.Third, when the waiter was prompted to run the amounts regardless, he then charged the last person the outstanding balance, which was not what was authorized, and required the person to sign the bill, because he allegedly could not cancel the transaction. How did the waiter not know whether we were going to come up with cash to cover the tax or an alternative solution? Instead of making this clear, the waiter incorrectly tried to bill one person more than what they authorized on their card without consulting them before running the transaction. Error 3.Fourth, when the discrepancy over tax was being discussed, the waiter was curt and impatient. There was no patiently explaining. Being in the weeds is never an excuse to be impatient or rude, especially in a service-based industry. Error 4.Fifth, your response as the owner is clearly one-sided and is dripping with sarcasm, riddled with veiled middle finger phrases. Error 5.As youd hate to have [me] encounter this scenario again do not worry; I probably wont (as most restaurants split checks when asked, and if the restaurant does not, they inform their customers when the customers infer they want to split checks). Barcito customers, however, will probably encounter this scenario again.86.
Andrea is awesome. The bar has so much charm and is always full of great people. Try the gnocchi and empanadas. Scrumptious.
Very nice spot in South Park. Good if you want a very quiet, chill vibe.
Came to dinner before heading to the Music Center for a show. Drinks, dinner and dessert were all fantastic. Looking forward to a return visit!I was excited to try the chicken empanadas so we ordered those right off the bat. Delicious! Ive never had empanadas in that style before.
Went there for the first time on a DTLA Meetup. The owner was incredible gracious, served a wonderful buffet of complimentary dishes, great Happy hour as well as customer service. Definitely a spot to enjoy if in the downtown area.
I tried barcito for my first time last night and I enjoyed the customer service and food. Parking is extra easy on a Tuesday evening. Our waitress was super helpful in her food recommendations. The CHICKEN LIVER MOUSSE was very creamy and the toasts were perfectly crisp and buttery. The PROVOLETO (goat cheese plate) was one of her recommendations and I am glad we ordered it. It was delicious! The PULPO (grilled octopus) was another one of her recommendations and unfortunately, this one didnt work so well. The octopus was overcooked resulting in a chewy texture. But the CHILI LIME SHRIMP dish made up for it. It was tangy and sweet with a nice crunch. Really yummy and tasty.
I love this place. The prices are fair for the quality of food.
Great night with friends here. :)
Fantastic cocktail bar, and cafe during the day. Very funky ambiance and atmosphere and very good cocktails.
I love the atmosphere. A perfect Happy Hour spot. The simple but diverse menu is full of delicious items.
Went during happy hour. Chill environment and friendly employees. Ordered a drink and came with a small side of olives, crackers, and mixed nuts for less than $12.
The waiter was friendly and quick, Wifi was good, pasta was yummy, and vodka
Awesome and creative food, nice atmosphere.Follows the philosophy of NO TIP, which is great. Excellent service nonetheless!
Food and drinks are great. Recommend the brazilian chicken wings, provoletas (fried chesse triangles), and fries. They provide a nice complimentary snack trio with chips, corn nuts, and green olives.
Good food and location. Staff were nice
I really love this place! Laid back atmosphere and delicious food. Five stars.
Great pub, great downtown atmosphere, great bartenders, in particular, Jesse. The guy is simply one of the best!
Coming here is great the food is a so good
Guy was awesome when I asked, if I can post up and hang while I wait for my roommate which we live in the bulinding next door. again ASKED, to kill time wait for my roommate just moved in next door was killing time and because I was killing time this girl by the name of Andrea who is the OWNER witch has short hair intervened while I’m dressed up nice basically told me to leave because I didn’t order when I had no intentions. I’ve never ate or had office there but out of all the office/bars in LA This ones not recommended! The owner andra is a snob!
Great vibe, good cocktails and friendly staff, its big and has a high roof which gives you a comfortable feeling when youre inside. Very fitting for a date
Quick service and kind staff. Especially delicious empanadas.
Great place for a cool atmosphere. Cool bartenders, great drinks, awesome happy hour and delicious food. Could not recommended more as a chill spot.
Chill, low key spot. Very distinct menu but good
Great share plates. Good for pesceterians who eat with meat eaters. No tip as well, baked into price. Totally worth the extra costs.
The most affordable, delicious, great proportions, visit!!!
Very good food and service.
What a wonderful experience we had at Barcito this evening. The food and service was excellent. Dining at Basrcito is a charming and lovely experience.
Perfect cortado and fantabulous breakfast salad! The chia pudding was a nice to go snack for a long conference day.Staff was wonderful, capable and friendly.Would definitely recommend eating here.
Nice place! Recommended to all
Not ground breaking but dedinitely better than good.
The best spot in South Park for fun, food, and gathering! Great breakfasts!
The service was very sociable and kind.
Great neighborhood hang for lunch, dinner late night!
Came in for happy hour and everything was cold and uncooked- which was bearable for provolone balls but absolutely disgusting to bite into a raw chicken slider
Soooooo buenosssss
You should go during happy hour.
Food was ok, very friendly service, very spacious and nice ambiance
Food is delicious and the service is great
Went with my family we all agreed that the Pulpo was pure perfection! That roasted octopus was like nothing weve ever ate before. So good! I also had the Choripan which was really good. For desert I DEFINITELY recommend the churros. Its plentiful and very delicious. My family had 3 orders! Great chill spot
Good food and awesome atmosphere! get the real feel of being in Argentina. EUROPE it is (smile) Much love to all hardworking employees most especially toCHEF CHUCK ABAIR your food is exquisitely bomb! (smile) keep up a job well done because hard work, patience understanding & giving way and pays off later down the line!...just wait and see!I totally recommend for any knew that is passing through down town LA stop by BARCITO on 403 W 12th street LA.. check it out!
Comfortable, solid happy hour, delicious cocktails
Came here for some drinks and churros. The churros were DELICIOUS. It crumbles and melts in your mouth, its like magic! Definitely try the churros!
Terrible food. Service was mediocre. The least Argentinian restaurant Ive ever visited. Food approach is not appealing. Cheff re think your take on an argentinian restaurant
Nice quiet place to o eat close to work
At lunch day drinking can be fun.
Convenient bar and tasty food
Impromptu date night led us here. It was a rather quiet night for the restaurant, but the food was off the chain! We started with a glass of sunnydaze and I ordered the off the menu Moscow Mule. Man does that mule do this place justice. Perfect balance of ginger flavors and that nice kick of Titos vodka, oh. yeah. For food, we started with the charred tomato salad, which had great flavors and loved the colorful tomatoes! It had such a pretty presentation to the dish. For dinner, its more tapas/family style. We ordered 3 plates to share and we had plenty of food left on the table. For dinner we shared the polenta, ñoquis and empanadas del dia.Polenta - such a great flavors and the arugala on top just added to a spicy, peppery kick to balance off the dish.Noquis - man pistachio pesto is a real thing?! This was by far my favorite dish and I highly recommend this even if you arent vegetarian!Empanadas - I wanted a bit more from this. Stuffed with short rib and the sauce it comes with, there wasnt an even proportion of sauce to empanada ratio. The short rib had flavor,. but I do prefer my meat a little juicey. The sauce was excellent, but I think adding some more to the plate as a dip, would be perfecto!Overall, cool place, nice ambiance and definitely a great date night. Well be back again soon!!
How do Argentines start their love letters?I know you miss me...3rd times a charm, original location was Corkbar which went down the drain, then ChocoChicken, again down the drain, then finally a place that has promise, Argentinian (or Argentine) cuisine. Im a huge fan of steak with chimichurri and empanadas as the next guy so hearing that this place opened a couple weeks ago I knew it would be a must go. Very well prices dishes that elevate Argentinian food and expand your horizons.Welcome to ArgentinaIve never been to Buenos Aires but I imagine the streets to be full of life, character, culture and charm. The new space took a 180 from the cold and modern look it had before and lines the walls with old black and white photos of the streets of Buenos Aires and stuffed with warm warn wood across the bar and banquets. Definitely feels like youre sitting at an elegant cafe on the streets of Buenos Aires.ñoquisOh you sneaky little ricotta-potato dumplings, you snuck your way in to my heart thru passage way of my tastebuds. Your innocent looking crispy exterior really packed a punch with every bite with that pistachio pesto and soft interior. You know the definition of simplicity all so well. Love pesto.Must orders:- ñoquis - ricotta-potato dumplings, pistachio pesto- Chicken liver mousse - toasted baguette, house pickled crudité- Empanadas del dia - baked in house, served in pairs- Pulpo - crispy octopus, fried egg, salsa verde- Asado - braised short rib, sunburst squash, chimichurriKnock knock.Whos there.Pesto.Pesto Who?I hate to make a pesto myself, but Im going to keep knocking until you open!
Great little neighborhood bar.
