Jose is friendly and patiently answers all questions one may have about the bikes. He is also very accommodating in making sure a bike is the right fit. Totally recommend! And will come back when I have a need for another bike. So far, Im very happy with the service and purchase!

Really amazing experience! First time bike buyer, everything went well. Jose is a really, really kind person. I felt comfortable and confident throughout the buying process. Randomly, a few days into riding my bike, the chain snapped. I brought it in and he replaced it for me. Really appreciate that generosity for recent buyers. Awesome experience overall

Jose grabs old/vintage bikes and fixed them up to sell. It’s a great way to get a quality road bike without spending the amount to get a new one. I bought a bike from him and had an issue with it. He fixed for no extra charge. Great experience. Will buy my next bike from him. Also with the bike shortage going on now because of Coronavirus, he’s still got a great selection.

I would give 10 stars if I could. Jose is awesome and hooked me up with the coolest road bike. He has lots of options and guided me towards the best one. He also had a really nice selection of accessory’s (lights, locks and helmet) so I was able to get everything I needed at one place.

Gem of a store in an unassuming location. Bought a cruiser off of them which was a first-time bike purchase for me. Jose is a great guy and really knows how to fix up his bikes!

I bought a late ‘70s- early ‘80s Peugeot in a 49cm size! Super hard to find that small. Jose was super nice! He got back to me right away to set up an appointment. He let me take the bike for a test ride and changed the saddle for an AVOCET that he had for FREE. Jose totally refurbishes the bikes, new cables, new tires, new chain etc. They are tuned and ready for the road. I’ve put 30 miles on my bike in 2 days and LOVE every second on it. So, do yourself and the environment a favor, GO ADOPT A BIKE! You won’t regret it, promise! Bonus... you get to see a bunch of cool vintage bikes and chat up someone who passionate about them.

Great place to check out if youre in the market for a used bike. Its small, but the selection isnt bad. Seems particularly good for a 70s/80s style road bike. They also stock a few new bikes.

I bought a bike from this place for a few hundred dollars. The bike had chronic problems, and to have them fixed I had to try to sync up my schedule with Joses. When I had to get rid of the bike, I was unable to sell it, so I chose to just give it away. It was then that Jose spotted it and offered to buy it back for a fraction of what I paid. This tells me that they scour the internet for free bikes, perform a tune-up and cheaply upgrade components, and then sell them for about two times what theyre worth. If you want a bike, just shell out the extra money to buy from a legitimate bike shop. This place seems charming but its not worth it.

Great selection of bikes in excellent condition at a very reasonable price. I bought my bike from them nearly 2 years ago and have put probably close to 500 miles on it, just got it tuned it up and it feels good as new. Tune-ups through Adopt A Bike are also very reasonable and much faster than your local bike shop.

Friendly, knowledgeable people with a GREAT selection of awesome bikes for very fair prices. Best place to get a used bike in LA hands down.
