Knowledgeable, caring, and helpful staff.I had 3 lovely staff members tend to my budgies trauma-free nail/ feather trim. As for the person who mentioned the front door being locked --- that is done for the safety of the birds -- did not find this odd or any sort of issue during my visit to get my bird pampered -- PB was so helpful I felt pampered myself:)

I love this place! Its a small store and the owner is very nice. Shes always friendly and truly appreciates my business. I love how Stanley the parrot greets me when I walked in. Shes adorable!

We were so blessed to find Lourdes at Pampered Birds after our parrot passed away. We needed to find another special bird to add to our family. She is very knowledgeable about bird behaviors and personalities. We told Lourdes about our family and what we wanted in a bird and she introduced to an amazing cockatoo. She was full of support as we introduced our new bird into our family. She was always available to answer questions and educate us. When I take my bird to vet, for grooming our out with people I always am told how beautiful, healthy and what a great disposition he has. I would recommend Pampered Birds to anyone looking for a great bird and a great experience. BTW her pricing was excellent compared to the other breeders we visited.

Very great place to visit and see exotic parrots. Staff is also cery knowledgable and very friendly. They sell all kinds of cages, feed, and toys. They also offer parrot grooming! Great place if you wanna get into keeping parrots as pets!

Love this place, and so glad I found it. Tons of healthy, happy birds in the shop, excellent bird sitting (with a clean bill of health by a Vet - so you know your bird wont catch any illnesses from other birds), and inexpensive food and toys. We leave our bird with Pampered Birds whenever we go out of town and they always take good care of him. Love the staff, and find them very easy to talk to.

Great experience every time I go. Very clean and friendly place. This is the right place to go if you are looking for a bird. My favorite thing is that they Never try to sell you things you dont need.

Just saved tons of $$$ at this shop. I feel so foolish that I didnt know they were here. I bought a perch for my African Grey for $199 that the other shop in NoHO wanted $100 more. Toys are half of the other store. Clean, friendly and they know everything about birds. The owner was very fun and has a great outlook on the world. Parking was a little tough but if you wait a couple of minutes a space opens up. Enjoy ! I sure did.5/31/13 Still love this shop. They just keep getting kinder and smarter every day. The prices are still unbeatable.

My wife and i found our baby Meyers, Mikado here. We haf been to other outfits that sell parrots but I wasnt as confident in the other places or the people associated with them as I was when we were with Pampered birds. Everybody at Pampered Birds is knowledgeable and coincidence building. Pampered birds is always clean and the resident birds always happy.

Pampered birds was great! Lourdes Rivas (the owner of the shop) was so helpful and spent a good 30 minutes with me, answering the many questions I had about a bird I just got as a gift from my parents. Prices are great and the staff was extremely helpful!

This is my one stop for bird care. They take care of my bird when I am out of town, have all the supplies I need, including fresh bird seed! Friendly staff and owner too.

Lourdes, the owner, knows everything. When I need to know fast or I cant find an answer online I can depend on Lourdes and her excellent staff. I regularly drive from Pasadena for supplies, especially in house seeds that I dont see anywhere else and wonderful boxes of millet, etc...

Pricey, but worth it. They definitely are knowledgable about our avian friends, and genuinely care. They charge a premium, but definitely are a destination if youre buying a jungle gym for your feathered family member.

Regardless of what kind of deal you think you might get here...youre gonna have to find parking first. There is absolutely no parking behind the store and if you go any time where people are out and about your gonna wait and drive around in circles...just a few miles away there are parrot stores with parking...

A special outlet only for birds, that means small birds and big papagayas with big heads big colors big feathers but no sound whereas a small green parakeet went on talking to hola, to ola, to whatever they like to, so go there to find your birdie companions whether pretty birds lil ole birds, or big headmute monolithic grunty bird s choice is yours and i am interested in exploring atwater village sometimes next week

We purchased a young cockatiel and he has been so sweet and tame from the moment we got him! The staff was very helpful since we are first time bird owners. I highly recomend them!!

The birds are beautiful, but Ive had two bad experiences with staff. I brought my 2-year-old daughter during their working hours today. The front door was locked, but there was a staff member standing just inside. I knocked but he tried to ignore me despite being just on the other side of the glass. After I knocked again, he said something inaudible, but not welcoming at all. When I indicated I couldnt hear him, he rolled his eyes and turned his back on me. Really bad service.

Love the staff would always come in and always thought about getting a conure but the workers introduced me to one of the cockatiels they had available and I just had to take her home she has been a blessing to me and she is really sweet I really love this place

They do a good job giving my pet parrot a haircut and pedicure and they sell good parrot food.

Lovely birds, store closed earlier than posted time. Felt rushed, and like they were more worried about cleaning up and getting home, than allowing us to learn what bird we might like.

I went upstairs and look how the cages are on display along with the perches make me feel like WOW ... WHAT A PLACE!!!! not big or fancy but pretty ... pretty .* Downstairs Toys and toys hanging from the ceiling, big... medium ... small ... and countless items ......Perfect !!*** Everything you need to pamper your spoiled bird !!!
