Her dresses are unbelievably GORGEOUS. You’re missing out by not paying her a visit!!!!

Way over priced dresses and alterations.$260 for an alteration and $1400 wedding dressI went to Huntington Park and it for $1100 with alterations included.

HORRIBLE! Look at my photos to see how these women not only DESTROYED my wedding dress but my entire dress experience.On several occasions I went to the store for a fitting and the work that was measured in the previous appointment was not even started, which WASTED HOURS upon hours of my time. I was criticized in front of other customers for the incredible Charlotte Olympia shoes I chose, Carmen said I was ruining my dress because I went with shoes that were red and gold and black.I went in one day after a brief tanning session (this was NOT a spray tan, I showered, there was no product on me) and SHE MADE FUN OF ME telling me my face was all red. Again, super nice. I was rushed through a number of my fittings, things I said were IGNORED, the work was done very rushed and SLOPPILY (see photos), like using kitchen scissors (yes, in front of me too, the ones with the orange handles) to CUT the strap hems and bustle ribbons when they were not at the right height, which in the end created VISIBLE HOLES in the dress as a result!The bustle was never right, it just looked like a big mess, they had destroyed the elegance of the dress. Even when tied up there were parts that were hanging down and I was stumbling over it, asking myself how the hell am i going to dance my first dance with my husband in this dress... But they YELLED AT ME and told me that they had done enough adjusting and that because it was free so I should be happy.Seriously, this alteration job was a hem, a strap shortening and a bustle; the first two are straightforward and easy and then the bustle, they obviously have no idea what they are doing.In an effort to excuse their difficult time getting this done Samantha and Carmen both told me that the dress, which I had purchased (and they had already hemmed and cut) was actually never meant to have a bustle. Oh, nice to tell me now! How do I walk or dance with 4ft of fabric behind me? Why not tell a bride shes going to have an issue with a bustle BEFORE purchase?But honestly, of course it is meant to have a bustle, any dress with a train or a circle can...that is, if you know about bustles. And I would have gladly paid to get this done right but having wasted so much time with these women I had run out of options.Upon picking up the dress I noticed more things that had gone wrong. The bustle was UNEVEN, the ribbons inside were not measured out properly, and they were just haphazardly placed, the left side sewn on a good 6INCHES closer to the center than the right side.I know a lot of people that work in womens fashion so I had friends who work at V.Wang and C.Herrera both as a seamstresses in bridal dept. take a look and they both said that it was not even close to a proper bustle and it was super CHEESY...not to mention looked HORRIBLE (especially from a professionals perspective) it was uneven and droopy in some places and pulling in others. Bride NIGHTMARE.At least when Im walking down the aisle it will look good. WRONG: when the bustle was down it wasnt good either because the lace on the outside got gathered in with the stitching of bustle ribbons from inside and the lace was all uneven and pulling and creating folds that were not meant to be there.The loop they sewed to the bottom of the dress was longer than the dress so now in all my pictures walking down the aisle there is a little loop hanging off the center and it looks like a tag or a mistake.I emailed Samantha in a professional manner but I was stern in my disapproval of how the dress was treated, and stated these concerns. I wasnt asking for a refund, or more free work (yeah right no thank you) or anything, I was only wanting to let them know what happened and have them acknowledge it.She told me that my email was verbal abuse, once the dress leaves the store they take ZERO responsibility for it. She told me the holes were made from use, when it is clear they were made from their own sloppy work. She threatened me telling me our correspondence had been sent to her LAWYER who WILL PURSUE FURTHER ACTION. Nice.

What can I say I found my dream dress and could not ask for a better place to get it. Samantha and Carmen were more than attentive and a pleasure to work with I look forward to whats to come. My sister and my mom and I had the best time being there it did not feel rushed and felt special. I found a custom design that I can not wait to walk down the aisle. It is not stuffy and family friendly, we had too much and more to come!

I took my little sister to A Bride by Samantha to help her find her wedding dress. The entire experience was a dream! From Samantha and Carmen listening to what my sister wanted in a dress, to their thoughtful help envisioning what each dress would look like when it was fitted to her body, my sister had a magical experience. She said yes to her dress, and if you are looking for a special experience, I highly encourage you to go in and see Samantha and Carmen!

I bought my wedding dress from A Bride by Samantha and couldnt have had a better experience!! From start to finish their family run store is nothing but precise and a pleasure to work with. You can feel they really care and their attention to detail is impeccable. I also love the lines they carry as many stores around LA dont have the collections they have. Super boutique !!Would highly recommend :)

I truly cannot say enough positive things about my experience at Andreas For The Bride. Not only did they make me a custom wedding dress beyond my wildest dreams but the ENTIRE experience working with Carmen and Samantha was a dream! They are not only the most professional and the most experienced and knowledgeable dressmakers and fashion consultants I have ever met but they are also beyond caring and compassionate to all their clientele. I came in with a vision for a dress and starting from the ground up, they designed and executed a unique, stunning and breathtaking dress that went beyond anything I could have ever imagined! Starting with my very first fitting, I was so happy that I even had them design my rehearsal dinner dress which I also couldnt love more! They made sure everything fit to a tee and was exactly the way I wanted it and more! They even gave me a lesson in walking in the dress, sitting in it AND practiced my first dance with me to make sure I was completely comfortable! Throughout the entire process they were beyond loving, compassionate and excited for me AND Samantha even came and helped me get ready on my big day. She was truly by my side EVERY step of the way and I couldnt have imagined a more personal experience. It was truly a dream and an experience I will hold close to my heart forever! Thank you, Carmen and Samantha for your outpouring of love, for a dress that was beyond anything I could have ever imagined and for making the best day of my life so special!

Fantastic family run couture shop offering elegant taste and style and inspiring designs. In addition they make you feel like a member of the family (down to the you must eat part🤣). Thanks Carmen and Samantha- can’t wait to wear your creation at my wedding!

Wow! Truly an experience. I love Andreas for the Bride because they have a great selection & know how to make you feel special. I had the honor to work one on one with the talented, Samantha Popa, to wear one of her original gowns for my engagement shoot. I was in aw when I saw it. The gown was flawless. Truly, a dream come true. I cant wait for my next opportunity to go back to Andreas for the Bride!

I love this wonderful boutique, family owned and operated with extensive and I mean extensive high end fashion experience ! Every person is made to feel special and they recognize we do not all wish to look the same nor are our bodies the same. The bridal salon is truly amazing with fabulous latest fashion gowns.They make me feel beautiful when I go there.... what a treat!

I am SO CONFUSED about the negative reviews on this bridal shop! My experience at A Bride by Samantha was absolutely incredible. I loved the family atmosphere and Carmen and Samantha made me feel completely at home. They knew exactly what they were doing and I KNEW while being in the shop that I was in great hands, PLUS the dresses are TO DIE FOR! Would absolutely recommend!

Where to begin. My friend called to make my appointment here and had them on speaker. The lady spoke rudely to my friend so I grabbed the phone and kindly replied that yes my wedding is in August and yes this is my first time trying on wedding dresses. While I was on the phone I did mention I would have family come with me. (To her defense I dont believe I mention the amount of people in my group). However at no point did she say it would be a problemI took the very first appointment of the day. The shop opened and as I walk in we were greeted by a nice lady (who simply opened the shop and perhaps was organizing the store) We waited to actually meet who would be helping me. A couple minutes pass and the lady walks up with out even saying hello. The first words out of her mouth were only three people I giggled and said excuse me? I thought she was making a joke. She then repeats herself saying only three people are allowed in the store because it is too small.At that point I said okay, thank you anyway. In the future I recommend you mention this over the phone when someone is making an appointment. She claimed to have said it over the phone which in fact was a lie. She raised her voice, making everyone feel extremely uncomfortable. She also said it is written on her website so I should have known. However when we spoke the first time I mentioned that I found her through Instagram (I had never even looked at her website)Overall I completely understand if that is the policy they have however there was clearly a much better way to have handled the situation.(Not the way I was hoping to start my wedding dress shopping day) but everything worked out a million times better after that we ended up at Panache Bev Hills where we were greeted with smiles and champagne! I made my purchase that day with Anna!

A wonderful choice for the unexpected Bridal Gown. Its a must see.
