My girlfriend has been bugging me for over a year to take her to Scent Bar. We finally went a few days ago and wow do I regret not coming here sooner! This place is amazing! Not only is the staff welcoming, friendly, and super patient, but they really REALLY know their products! Special thanks to Steven and David as they helped us both out tremendously. I actually cant wait to go back and purchase more unique scents!

The staff here was incredibly knowledgeable, welcoming, very friendly, patient, and accommodating. The selections range from mild to wild. Their selections of body washes, soaps, and candles were also very nice. Highly recommended.

Wow, this place is a heaven for those that love the chance to explore and adore perfume. It’s a wonderful perfume library for you to find your next signature scent or just a new seasonal. It was amazing to come here and get to smell different lines I had been so curious about, especially so many that are hard to find. They’re all in one place! It was like a luxurious candy store for me. My guide was I believe named (spelling?) Dayna, and she was amazing at what she did and so generous with her time and attention. Her recommendations were spot on and her knowledge broad and deep, seemed she does this work intuitively. I really appreciated her the most about the experience. She was patient and down to earth, very friendly, and relaxed with my tons of questions and in no way pushy. I got some lovely samples, grabbed a bottle of a standby, and fell in love with two new perfumes I had never heard of that are bottle worthy now that I’ve worn them. I’m grateful for places like this that give you the opportunity to sample hard to find fragrances, and check with your own chemistry, as everyone should. I could literally spend all day here. I don’t really write these reviews much, but I’m grateful for this place. Thanks y’all!

Came to this place all the way from Santa Monica yesterday hoping to find a perfect perfume for myself and buy a birthday gift for my mom.However I was completely disappointed with an attitude and absolutely unwelcoming behavior of one of the two staff members at the store who made me feel very uncomfortable.At some point, after showing me several fragrances she approached her fellow junior employee and started whispering about me in my presence I dont think shes planning to buy anything... and then added in a louder voice BUT THERE ARE ALWAYS SURPRISES YKNOW.First off, I explained to them at the very beginning of our interaction that I was sensitive to scents but really hoped they would help me find something that I would love. I even provided them with the information on the fragrances that usually work great for me.And no, I never stated I was planning to buy a perfume without trying it.That scene really gave me a bad taste so I politely thanked them for showing me the perfumes and a sample they gave me, and then hurried to leave the store.I’ve never seen such an unprofessional, impolite and condescending customer service except for the movies (this is where Pretty Woman meets Mean Girls).I went to Bloomingdales right after and bought fantastic Tom Ford perfumes both for myself and my mom. Suffice to say, their customer service was top notch, on a par with a billion dollar company which they are.Not planning to come back to this place, but they really do have a good selection of niche perfumeries. Hence two stars.

I havent been in to the physical shop since my last trip to LA a few years ago, but their website is fantastic. There arent many places in Seattle to buy good fragrances so being able to shop online at luckyscent.com has been a lifesaver. They are generous with their samples with purchase and the ability to purchase samples before buying a full bottle is a great experience.My trip in the store a few years ago was also just as great. Knowledgeable staff who are willing to sit with you and explore different fragrances, while introducing you to brands that are not widely known or available. Protect this place at all costs.

Honestly, if I could give a 10 out of 5 Star rating, I would.I live in Canada, but I was visiting NYC for the weekend (Oct 6th) and so I ordered a bottle of Shun Koin to be delivered to my friends apartment there. Thought it would be a lovely little treat to myself to have during the trip! Unfortunately there was a bit of a delivery mishap - which, I have to say, was pretty much my responsibility, I felt. But Lucky Scent didnt let me hang for it - instead, their guy Alex provided the most excellent customer service gesture and sent it (at no cost to me) to my address in Toronto. I feel like this is totally above and beyond. And has secured my loyalty for future purchases.Thanks so much!Oh - they also sent like 15 samples, which Im DYING to try! Amazing!

Horrible Customer service . Stay away from ScentBar on Beverly Blvd. I have bought many perfumes here at SCENTBAR. I must say I will never be buying anything from this business . I just came in with my mom to exchange a perfume I received as a present that was purchased at this SCENTBAR - Steve the manager did not allow me to exchange it as they have a strict 7 day policy. Has he heard theres a pandemic and that people are not running to stores???? Especially now in the time of a pandemic / COVID - he wants me to run to the store to exchange it within 7 days???? He didnt even look up the purchase date. The product was unopened and unused. Very disappointing experience. To say the least my family, friends and I will DEFINITELY stay away from this business.

I love this place and visit almost every time I come to Los Angeles. The owners are incredibly helpful, patient, nice, and knowledgeable as is all the staff.I really appreciate that for a store that sells relatively high-end and elite perfume the atmosphere is very friendly and accessible. The staff doesnt push you or try actively to sell. You can try as many fragrances as you want which actually always results in my buying something. For anyone who loves unique, hard to find and sophisticated fragrances this place is heaven. It is much nicer atmosphere-wise than a very similar store in New York City where I live. There shouldnt be snobbery around great scents.

Perfume Paradise! I visit Scent Bar when I am in LA, and the staff is very knowledgeable and patient. I can take a long time to decide on a scent but I never feel rushed. The selection is extensive, and they have some frag lines that I have not seen elsewhere. The vibe is laid-back and the staff are down to earth. In other words, dont be intimidated to come and try some scents, ask some questions and come away with some new products! (I use Luckyscent-their website-when I am back home; I have shopped there for about 5 years. They have prompt shipping and know which new fragrances to send as samples if you tell them what you like-they really know how to personalize your order this way! You can order samples by themselves, but you get some free with purchase. They come in small 1ml vials and are clearly labeled. Dont forget to use the free shipping code that is often scrolling on the top of the page. This is one of my favorite websites-highly recommended!)

I love this place and so so so happy I found it! This IS the place to go if you want a truly amazing, unique and high end fragrance. All of the scents are brands you wont find at department stores or Sephora which is awesome, it feels unique and highly curated.They have a wide selection and are generous with samples. I love their approach where they do not encourage you buying until youve tried the samples! The first time I went I got 3 samples didnt love any of them, went back and got 1 sample and loved it so much I bought it the next day. Prices are a little steep compared to department store brands but its worth it, I get compliments all the time on my perfume : )

Ive always ordered online, but was in LA and popped in for the most delightful experience with Dana. I told her what I liked and she showed me everything that I might enjoy within that scent family. It was beyond wonderful! If youre a niche perfume lover, this place is heaven on Earth.

I am a longtime shopper of Lucky Scent. Their selection is unparalleled. I have, however, noticed that their shipping has slowed. In the past they shipped the order the same day, which was fantastic. Recently, Ive noticed a lag in their ship time of a few days. For me this takes an almost perfect shopping experience down one star. It may be unfair, but Lucky Scent had formerly set the bar really high.

The staff here, considering the volume of fragrances, are so personable and knowledgeable that visiting this store was an absolute pleasure.

This is probably the greatest shop for fragrances in Los Angeles. Be fair warned however, if you dont have a lot of disposable income stay away.

I LOOOVE this boutique. It is a tiny shop but the fragrance selection is AWESOME. I visited the boutique for the first time last week Sunday 9/17/17 with my cousin. This was part of my birthday celebration in Los Angeles. My goodness what a pleasant and delightful experience! The staff there were just faboulous. There were six other customers in the boutique at time but I never felt rushed nor pressured to buy anything. Both ladies/clerks were very friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. I ended up trying four different fragrances. In the end I chose the Voluspa Saijo Permisson large candle. It smells wonderful! From now on I will make the time to visit the ScentBar boutique whenever I am in Los Angeles. For any fragrance lover you MUST give the boutique a try whenever visiting LA.

Cool place to buy perfume! Even if you didnt know what you wanted before arriving there). Large selection including locally sourced from Los Angeles growers. Good choice, good consultants. Parking is convenient on the street in front of the store on the right. From 8 am to 6 pm free of charge, there are always places, and there is a paid jack in front of the store 50 meters away. An excellent choice for those who want to smell especially!
