Great selection of sweets (including sugar free) and very helpful staff. They put together vintage looking gift boxes that you can customise as a gift which family members have loved. Highly recommend for all sweet lovers

Although Rocket Fizz is technically a candy, soda, and novelties store, it’s worthy of being listed as a museum :)All the sodas, candies, chocolates, art, and amusing signs are displayed so clean, neat, and orderly that it is a pleasure to tour as well as shop. The prices at this place are absolutely ridiculous. I paid 18 bucks for a pack of 13 Raspberry Kit Kats. I went through with the purchase cuz I wasn’t in the mood to tell the cashier I no longer wanted it. Anyways, don’t ever buy anything from here. Much better shops elsewhere that don’t overcharge

The owners are fab. Super friendly & once you get Diane talking, shell let you try just about everything (& give you some hints about what you might want to try). They have a good selection of retro & European candies. Its a tiny store but filled to the ceilings with every type of candy you can imagine. Definitely worth a visit!

This tiny store is picture-perfect with endless rows of colorful candies. There are tons of fun gift ideas and the owners are very generous with the samples! I find it hard to resist the chocolate covered gummy bears - yum! and the peanut butter malted milk balls. I can only imagine that children must love it.

We bought a few candies for 30$! Never again its a rip off.

Fun little shop, well kept, with a friendly staff. Their manager (whos name I am blanking on), has the personality of a ray of sunshine. Love the chocolate covered toffee pistachios.

We have a special category in Quicken just for The Candy Store which shows how much we visit! We love everything about it. The owners are friendly, the design is great, and the candy is DELICIOUS.

The place is clean and the staff very helpful. The lady there answered all my questions and there are blurbs next to the candy explaining what everything is. The candy itself is delicious. Lots of variety. I hope this store is around for a long time.

Believe it or not it is rather hard to find a good candy store in Los Angeles, CA. Google they can create software to detect if your hypoglycemic here...but a great candy store...tough.

I think its a cute little place where you can find obsure candies that you havent seen for a long time. When you see Starbucks, dont forget to turn towards Van Ness to check it out.The owner is nice too.

This is THE place to get high quality FRESH chocolate truffles in CA . Dont be deterred by the non-nondescript interior of the place. The owner is a french gentleman thats super nice. All the truffles are made on site, so you can be sure that you are getting the freshest truffles.

Im not sure why I didnt Googe about this place when it opened. They offer a variety of nostalgic candies. Ive bought gifts here...a cheap thrill for many a friend. Its also a great place to buy candy to fill a piñata or fun party favors. Super friendly owner too...warms my tummy and heart.

Tons of unique, collectable, small batch, and themed sodas. Harry Potter Butter Beer (butterscotch root beer) is surprisingly good. But, if you could think of it, theres probably a soda for it here. Many trinkets and novelty toys as well. They also host kids birthday parties in an upstairs room.

Rocket Fizz is a good place to get hard-to-find treats, but most of it is terribly overpriced. For example, the Green Tea Kit Kats are regularly in stock, but they can be found for cheaper at Asian grocery stores. Its a cool place to go though just to check out all the fun candy and novelties. If youre in a pinch, Fizz probably has you covered.

Woah. When I first entered this place, they had everything. Literally everything. You want a certain candy, they got it. If you want a sweet dessert, go here. You will definitely find something you like.

This is a cool looking store with a large variety of candy but I have to knock it down to 2 stars for 2 big reasons:1-The young lady working there was clueless about the products. She did not know prices or where the candy was from and was too lazy to find out just lamely saying europe when I asked what country.2-The oreo cookie candy bar looked interesting but she told me it was $5(no price tags on the candies)for a regular size 3 oz package.That is frankly a ripoff even for an imported candy bar and an oreo bar is not a gourmet fancy candy.Bad service + outrageous prices + nice location and selection= 2 stars.The sweet tarts are $2.50 and $1 at .99 cent store.

Its your typical Rocket Fizz: candy, strange/foreign snacks, novelty decorations, toys, tshirts, and gag gifts. Its one of those places you might randomly wander into if you want to kill a few minutes amusing yourself.
