Great cozy place right in downtown L.A. to enjoy a cigar. Very nice humidor selection. And, you can bring in your own booze.

Very good collection and lounge.

I stopped by Diplomat Cigars while in town on business. The staff was very friendly and made some great recommendations. They have a great selection of smokes, and a lounge for smoking what you buy there. This is the closest Cigar Lounge to Downtown that I could find. I enjoyed my time there. It’s an easy walk from your downtown hotel.

Decent selection of cigars. A little overpriced. Probably because of the location. $15 lounge fee if you want to chill and smoke.

I just moved to DTLA and stopped in here yesterday. Went to the back to the humidor to grab my smoke and was told I had to leave the humidor cause the guy was ‘already helping someone’ and couldn’t let me in.This place is in a great location and has character but could really use some TLC from the owner. Just not a welcoming place nor would I want to hang out and smoke a cigar there in the smoking lounge.

I enjoy smoking at this cigar lounge, and then go next door to Wokcano for some great sushi. I love their inexpensive house blend rolled by a cigar roller rolling them right there in the store, and its quite entertaining to watch. If you want to get a super great deal on cigars, their box prices are much better. Sam is a funny guy too and at times quite entertaining.

This place is a landmark in down town Los Angeles. I have been going to this shop for several years now. Sam the owner is a nice guy, and a character, and once you get to know him, he can be quite entertaining. Great selection of premium cigars and a comfortable lounge to smoke in. The prices might be a bit higher on a single cigar purchase to smoke in the lounge but the box prices are pretty low.

Great spot to have a casual cigar with a nice selection of cigars to choose from. It has a very relaxed atmosphere which was enjoyable.

Updated Review : The owner actually came in about 5 minutes after I crossed the street to the other side. So I decided to go back again to the shop. It’s an old store. Good selection of cigars. Pricing is okay (not good bargain but not ridiculously expensive either). TV and sofa. Water and sodas are available for sale.Previous Review :I am here in front of the shop at 12:37pm and it is closed!!!!!! Walked 15 minutes here for no reason. Terrible.

My coworker and I stopped in for a cigar after a really good sushi dinner, and were very glad that we stopped in. The selection was very good, the service was fantastic, the workers were very friendly, and we ended staying for a couple of hours enjoying a good stogie and some good conversation. Stop in, if you like smoking a good cigar after dinner...or whenever.

Great place to take a break, enjoy a cigar, and have a good conversation. Chairs are comfy, the selection is pretty good, and the staff is great especially the young guy I think he is ex military super helpful and upbeat. Wish there were more places like this.

Nice place to smoke and people watch. Located on 7th street. Conor helped me select a cigar as I am a novice. I will visit again next time I am in LA.

Prices are high, but its LA downtown. I had Bob(?) help me, super friendly guy, we chatted and he made me feel like I was at my own local shop.

I love the house cigars that are hand rolled in house and they have a fine selection of pipe tobaccos.

Run down and kinda shoddy. Nice people but not a nice place to sit and relax with a good cigar.
