Amazing to see something amazing exist in the creative district of Vancouver. It is located just behind the symbols of Gastown- The Steam Clock, #SIXHUNDREDFOUR collaborate with local artists and turn art pieces into sneakers, each designs are limited to only 604 pairs. The concept is like a gallery, where you could enjoy the art while taking home your favourite piece and wear them on you!
This place is a Gastown gem! I cant even believe I only have found out about this shop this last year. I already have 3 pairs and they are to die for. James the owner is the nicest guy ever and very passionate about his craft. 604 is a must stop if you love original shoes that will last a lifetime 5 stars!!!
Good quality products, speedy shipping and proper pricing! Only drawback is the customer service, sometimes takes days to get any response. I understand they are busy and with covid its been harder to work but you can atleast get someone to answer emails from home!
Amazing store and experience. Felt more like I was rolling into an art gallery than just buying shoes in a store. The staff were extremely nice and knowledgeable. If youre into shoes and consider yourself an art buff, this is the place for you. Its the perfect combination of classy meets stylish and every pair of shoes is a collectors edition - need I say more?
First and foremost, the shoes I received are BOMB! My mom bought me a pair of Def Leppard’s On through the night, shoes. They are more fabulous in person, than in picture. Quality is awesome, packaging awesome. The reason for the one star, is the terrible customer service. I get that the physical site is temporarily closed, but per the website, they are still open online. If you’re open online and shipping, you should also have customer service available, in case something goes wrong. In this case, it did and we have heard from NO-ONE, despite trying to contact them, multiple times. My mom accidentally ordered the wrong size and I wanted to do an exchange. She reached out several times, weeks ago! I reached out several times and nothing! I tried email, WhatsApp and their form online. Nadda, zilch, nothing!Their merchandise is not cheap, so I expect a lot more in terms of service. As a side note, it’s my birthday. My husband ended up also getting me a pair of shoes, from the Def Leppard collection. Luckily these fit!As much as I love Def Leppard and their entire shoe collection, I won’t be spending anymore money with this company.
I happened into this store with a couple of friends, not knowing what it was, and left with three pairs of shoes between us. We had to exercise some self control to only purchase one pair each, as there were so many styles and colors we liked. I could have gone with any of a dozen of their awesome limited edition kicks. The customer service was fantastic as well. After getting back to Brooklyn with a nice pair of Carson Ting high tops, the compliments came flying in. Check this place out if you are in the neighborhood.
I love my kicks from Six Hundred Four. James is the owner and hes a personable guy with great vision for building the arts community in Vancouver. My shoes are super comfy and I walk in them all day long 5 days a week. Go and check out the gallery and pick up a very unique pair of shoes. Youll be glad that you did!
The boutique is a little hard to find in the middle of Vancouvers tourist area, but is well worth the search. The website cant do justice to how they organized the store. It feels very exclusive and the shoes on display are really front and centre. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and were able to answer my many questions. The purchasing experience was incredible, and the shoes are as comfortable as they are beautiful. I also find them well priced, considering the material and attention to detail.Bonus points: you can filter the website to show only the models available in your side. This is sheer genius, and I cant imagine why other boutiques arent doing this already. The shoes run a little narrow (similar to a dress shoe), so Id size up if youre in between sizes. Will purchase again. Often.
Very unique place. Must stop at this place to see what they offer. Artwork by local artists are displayed, and imprinted onto shoes with the intent of being worn out displayed. Products include digital prints, shoes, and bags! Its fun pinpointing where in the artwork a part of the door came from. Each pair of shoes is also engraved with a unique identifier!
I saw the store while I was checking out the steam clock in Gastown. Sneakers are a love of mine so I was hoping to find something unique. I was not disappointed, the art on the wall and the shoes was beautiful. Definitely worth a look. I bought a pair of shoes that was made in collaboration with the rap group Cypress Hill. They were INSANE. Love them!
I loved everything about visiting this store! From the sales associate explaining how the shoes were created to assisting me with picking the perfect shoe (which was so hard because I wanted all of them!) to the packaging, the experience here was great. Shoes and art in one store; what more could someone want??
I love my six hundred four high tops! I have several pairs and always get compliments on them when I wear them. They are super comfortable and I can walk all day in them. I have also been pleasantly surprised by how well they have held up as most shoes wear down in the heels pretty quickly for me, but there is very little wear after months!Totally recommend stopping at the store, every shoe is so beautiful!
This is a great place, they could even charge admission. But it’s free. If you like shoes, this is an absolute must-see.
This brand is one of a kind. Some of the most unique shoes and gear out there. Awesome shop set up as well. James the owner was very helpful and friendly with explaining the brand. If youre in the area six hundred Four is a must stop, keep killing it dudes!
The employees are chill, the concept is amazing and everyone business owner in the area seems to love them and their product. I got a pair of shoes from there and they were comfy the first second I put them on, I felt like I didnt really have to break them in. They are unique and made well. Each box the shoe comes in is made of the art from the painting used for that shoe, comes with extra laces, and a card that describes the painting. Your shoes are cushioned in a foam cut to the shape of the shoe so they are moving around and a dust bag.
This is a beautiful gallery space, melding art and fashion. I LOVE MY OCTOPUS sneakers!! The man on staff was super friendly, helpful and noticeably proud of the products and artists he was representing. I am so glad to have discovered this place and highly recommend this to all sneaker-lovers living in or visiting Vancouver.
Awesome and unique store. Owner was a laid back and happy to answer any questions I had about the store. Even if youre not into shoes, its definitely worth checking out.
I love the shoes there and the owner was very friendly. I went to a few counties already but this one is the best shoe store (shoe gallery). It starts with the idea and ends with a donation to a charity of the artist’s choice. Its also very nice that the artists are local.Thank you for the good time there!
First of all let’s start by saying; I LOVE sneakers, second.. when I am abroad I love to search for local one of a kind pieces. I stumbled upon this fantastic sneaker shop while watching the clock in Gastown. We walked in, and I was taken away by two things that really intrigue me; art and sneakers. The founder walked up to us and told us all about the concept, and how each sneaker is unique, and has its own unique number, and that the artists behind the artwork are actually local. As a bonus every single purchase contributes an amount to a local charity of choice by the artist. I was sold, on the idea, the design, the concept, customer service, and craftsmanship. Seriously, when in Van-city, check this one out! You will not regret it, and maybe, you’ll end up buying more than one pair!!!
My husband and I had the best time. The store is fun, everything easy and the staff was amazing. The follow up and customer service was tremendous ..., and of course we love all (3) pair of sneakers.
Very unique and comfortable. I get many compliments. You just have to love shoes that have your favourite places in Vancouver on them.
One of the best places in the world to get high quality sneakers. Bought a pair yesterday after three years of dreaming
A fantastic store, every shoe being so unique. The customer service is fantastic and it is a store I would not hesitate to suggest. The shoes themselves are very comfortable, and can be dressed up or down no problem. The boxes are also amazing, 100% suggest.
James is an amazing owner and the shoes are of the highest quality .I purchased a pair of the limited edition Def Leppard shoes and they came slightly damaged. Not only was the email response prompy and friendly, they are sending me an entirely new pair (I was not expecting anything, and would have been happy with repair advice). Outstanding service and will definitely be looking here again for shoes in the future!
Fantastic shop. Amazing concept, high quality comfortable shoes, very nice people, all around awesome experience. If youre in the area, definitely check it out!
Im recently getting into sneakers so Ive been venturing out on where I can find different styles and I found them here. So many great options and the price is right too. Found a couple that I love and will be wearing throughout the summer.
This is a definite must see place in Gastown. They partner with local artists to create original art work and collaborate on designs of footwear that reflect and capture the art. Limited runs of each pair of shoes are made and are put in display in this new age Gallery / Shoe Shop.
Such a cool concept! The shoes look amazing, the store supports local artists and a portion of the sale price goes to charity. Definitely stop by! Its right near the steam clock in Gas Town across from Starbucks.
I just had found the most incredible store I had seen in a long time!. You see, I find kinda boring going after the same Nikes or Adidas everyone wants, instead I got a beautiful pair of sneakers from an awesome art piece I fell in love with. A big colorful bear made by Jennifer Sparacinno (artist). If you like shoes and Art you have to definitely check this place out :D! It is a cool and fresh concept.
Amazing shoes, the designs are beautiful! Great service as well.
Went to check out the new artwork-inspired shoes. Loved the open feel and the artwork was beautiful! And love that they give back a portion of sales to the artists charity of choice. Check it out when youre in Gastown.
One of the most fun places Ive stumbled into in a while. Fantastic people, fantastic shoes and real conversation. If you do one thing in Vancouver its to stop by here after a few drinks in Gastown and have a great time.
Layout of this small shop is very nice, and theres a lot of beautiful artwork that has been printed onto notebooks, shoes, and more. Very satisfied with my visit
Very cool selection of local art on limited run shoes. Nice space if you ever need to rent out!
A great product. Made out of high quality materials. Very unique style and comfort.
Great store, great service, and great stories behind the shoes. Extremely well made shoes, if you happen to be in van be sure to check out this gem in the heart of Gastown
Love the vibe from 604 – fresh idea, fresh kicks. This is such a unique concept. Locally-sourced art + hot sneakers + giving back to charity = A+++++!
Even if you’re like me and don’t like shopping... this place is a great place to check out. It’s a unique experience and their product is awesome.
Great collection of shoes! Love the fact that it connects craftsmanship, art, and charity all together.
Very kind people and beautiful sneakers with a unique design
Great concept and even better shoes! A gem amongst the stylish stores around Vancouver.
If you can appreciate quality and creativity, youll definitely want a pair. The 604 concept is totally awesome, makes you feel like a member of an exclusive club.
Crazy expensive designer sneakers. Locally designed and have some Japanese feel. Really cool hut really expensive
A very cool and hip shoe brand that fits right into the Gastown neighbourhood. As much as a gallery as a show room for their shoes, this is definitely a spot to check out for a fine balance mix of fashion and art!
Amazing store and the shoes are stunning, and great quality! Love the pair I got!!
Amazing shoes..! I take my shoes to Miami.. excellent service
Cool concept. Love the store layout. Staff was exceptional!
Great atmosphere and could feel the passion about sneakers and art, great customer service and extremely happy with the hat I bought looking to buy some shoes at Christmas !
Interesting concept, but the shoe quality was not that great.
Great concept... amazing shoes
Amazing service, great collection of shoes!
Creative ideas 🎨👟
Beautiful art and amazing shoes!
Amazing collection
In the end I did not buy any shoes, but I had a very nice conversation with an employee. Friendly man who liked to tell about the city and where we could look more shoes. Shoes were very cool, but unfortunately we were through our holiday budget :-p
Very fashionable and high sense. You can talk to people when you are wearing shoes here. However, I always buy too much if I always go. .It is a crap shoe that you want both for collection and for outing.
Fabulous SneakerS
