I had a very positive experience here a few months ago. My partner and I came in to look for a fabric with which to reupholster our old couch, and while we had ideas about color and texture, we knew very little about the process and what our options were. Frank at AHF was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, while giving us plenty of space to make our decision. You can tell hes very experienced. Not only that, we felt like we got an incredible deal on very high-quality fabric. There are a lot of great options here.We would highly recommend coming here for your fabric needs! We ended up with something we absolutely love and wouldve never found had it not been for Frank.

Frank was super friendly and helpful. I came into their shop looking for a specific upholstery fabric, for which they had the best prices on. The shop is very inviting and easy to peruse. Unlike much of the fabric stores within the fashion district, many of which can be overwhelming, AHF has easy access to bolts and no extra clutter. Will definitely be going there again for my next project.

The new location is absolutely wonderful!! It is organized beautifully with vibrant fabrics and it is so unique. I love how easy it is to see all the fabrics. Both Frank and Joey are extremely helpful and knowledgeable regarding fabric and design! Will definitely be coming back for all my fabric needs.

Affordable Home Fabrics/J&P carries upholstery/drapery fabric and theyre FABULOUS!! High quality fabrics at reasonable prices. The store is clean, well organized and full of light. The highlight for me though was the expert help I received in store!! Although Im pretty good at selecting fabric, Frank was far better!! He quickly figured out my tastes (knew them better than I did) and helped me find the perfect fabric to recover two chairs. The customer service is really what set them apart from all the other fabric shops in San Diego, Orange and LA counties!!! Yes, I looked at fabric in all 3 counties. This shop was well worth the 90 mile drive I made from San Diego to LA. I highly recommend this store and Frank!! What a great eye he has.

This place is amazing and should be your go-to for home fabrics. The fabrics are really high quality, and they have a ton of different stuff, including really gorgeous velvet in a million colors – my fave!The owners are really nice, incredibly knowledgeable, and willing to help you if you need help, or just let you browse, if thats what youre trying to do! Not pushy, which can sometimes be the case when youre not sure what youre looking for.

Affordable Home Fabrics is the only place I will ever go again for upholstery fabric. I found them online when my wife and I were looking for fabric to reupholster our sectional sofa. We went downtown LA and found their store to be an oasis among the chaos of the Fabric District. Joey was extremely knowledgeable and very helpful with narrowing down the choices to the perfect material. Their shop is well stocked, clean, efficient, and organized. Omid made it so easy to get the blackout fabric i wanted with a really cool Waverly Print that I couldnt find anywhere else! he made it really easy by putting the roll in my car when i was leaving so I didnt have to carry it around.
