Armstrong garden centers are always a great experience. I could not recommend this place enough for good quality plants at reasonable prices. Lots of varieties and most plants come with guarantees so if it happens that the plants are faulty you can exchange them. They also have a selection of indoor plants which is in much cheaper prices than most indoor plant places in LA which tend to be more boutique-style. I would’ve loved if they had a little better customer service. It’s hard to find someone to ask questions and when you do they’re often not very happy to do so.

Beautiful place with almost any plant you want and very reasonable prices

Pleasant welcome by an owner who knows her subject inside out, I received lots of advice including for plants that I had bought elsewhere. Sometimes she offers rare plants. The prices are a bit high but thats the cost of petty trading, and the plants are much more resistant than in garden center chains. If you buy a pot repotting is free.

There were a variety of plants to pick from. I found new ones Ive never tried to grow. And were things that I may add to my mi I garden later on

I used to go to one of their stores near me but it closed and I went elsewhere. Im glad I went to this store which is a bit farther away. Nice selection and very helpful staff. So far the veg plants are growing better than the big box store plants. Give them a try.

It was your average run of the mill nursery. Nothing exceptional. Stock was plentiful and was well organized. Customer service was helpful & timely ..

Lots of selection on plants and pots. Medium pots were $14.99 and stylish. Good variety. Customer service was great too. Employee brought my potting soil to my car and loaded it in. The cashier also said if a pot isnt the right size I can bring it back. Skip the big box stores (Home Depot, Lowes) and shop small biz/local. You wont regret it.

I love Armstrong gardens. Unfortunately the one in Stevensons ranch close down permanently but I live close to the Burbank one

This place has terrible service and zero follow-through. They had no problem taking my money while they “researched” availability of a plant I was looking for a large quantity of. But it’s been over 3 months and nobody at Armstrong has bothered to contact me with an update AND it’s impossible to get anyone on the phone. Take your business to Marina Del Rey Garden Center or Juaregi Nursery instead!

Begonia luxurians, wonderful surprise.

They were very careful with social distancing, and after each customer they used disinfectant to wipe areas down. In this crisis it made me feel comfortable to visit this nursery again.Plus I even found some nice items regular priced and a couple of great finds on sale.

Good selection of plants & supplies. I had purchased my planters on Amazon, but Armstrong had all the herbs, flowers, soil, fertilizer, and accouterments I needed to get a kitchen garden done.

Always loved shopping here as they have a great variety and special weekly offers. Been there today first time since the pandemic started and they have fantastic health safety regulations in place. The counter is disinfected after each purchase, they have hand sanitizer at the door and at the cash out and even give away free masks to customers who forgot to bring one. Absolutely the best and most relaxing shopping experience since COVID-19. Thank you Armstrong Garden Center in Westchester!

Came in to this lovely store today to get some flowers and Armstrong Garden Centers to leave at the site of the Westchester fire. Gil who owns the shop was super sweet and gave me two beautiful potted flower plants to bring with his condolences. Also, there seems to be plenty of employees which is rare these days, so you don’t have to search for help for too long.

Beautiful flowers and pretty good prices on alot of the plants. Added the 5th star because customer service was spectacular! Also they stay open the latest near me so that is much appreciated! My family and I plan on going back! Its worth a visit!

Live in neighborhood and looking to upgrade my yard. Customer service was horrible. “Green shirt” associate was too busy talking to her friend. Will never go back!!!! The only reason I’m giving two stars is because the center is nice with a decent selection of plants.

They were very proactive about the sanitizing. Wiped counter after each customer, and surrounding area..social distance followed.

Answered the phone immediately. Didnt have apple mint which is what I needed but they had everything else!

Cool place to pick up a few things.The staff, no fault of their own, needs more training. It would be great if Armstrongs did events here that were informative to help out their staff as well as the community. Bring in some experts to talk about soil, soil nutrition, soil biology, growing plants. Take an example from Laguna Nursery. I study a lot about agriculture and like employees you see at places like home depot, the employees often give not so great help or misinformation. The workers here are nice, kind people, it would be great to allow them opportunities to grow and learn. Most people like to learn and it would really benefit the customers who come here.

I truly appreciate this place. I signed up for some kind of loyalty program - free- and almost 8 months later when one of the plants i bought died I was able to exchange it for several others ( price equivalent) .The employees are knowledgeable and so helpful. A pleasure shopping here
