Yes, the water really is black. I was definitely on the fence about it but, let me tell you! It was crisp, refreshing and just plain FRESH tasting. Super hydrating. I live in Florida and I’m extremely active, I loved everything about this. I love blk water! I’ve tried other types of mineral and fulvic acid additives and drinks and I never liked them. But blk water I really do love! The original one does not have any taste or consistency it just tastes like pure, delicious, and refreshing water. Of the flavored ones I’d have to say the Strawberry Rhubarb is my favorite but all the ones I have tried have been great!
