Great service overall, specially to my man I didn’t catch his name due to the rush I was in . He was in his 40s-50s ( was working on Monday afternoon 4:54pm October 18 2021 ) was in charge of inspecting all the vehicles once they were returned. Greeted me in a kindly matter and definitely had great customer service. Over staff show they really want to help you out unlike other locations I’ve been too.

I am so disappointed with Uhaul. The 1st time they only gave me 6 hrs. The 2nd time I pushed for 8 hrs. This is NOT enough time to move and I am left to feel that this is done on purpose so that customers can be charged “Double”. SO DISAPPOINTED. THUMBS DOWN.

Issue #1The 2 younger employees at this location had the worst customer service skills I’ve encountered in a while. There was very little respect showed to me as a paying customer. Their tone and wording was what you would hear between them and some peers.Issue #2I was at U-Haul to rent a pickup truck and tow dolly. Despite having plenty of equipment, the cashier attempted to “corner” me into buying a tow hitch to connect the pickup truck and tow dolly. I was told they could not rent them and none of their pickup trucks or cargo vans are equipped with tow hitches per the manager. As I was thinking I noticed all of the moving vans were equipped with tow hitches. I decided I would rent a box truck in order to use the tow dolly which was my primary reason for using your rental services. My problem was that the cashier attempted to coerce me into buying equipment I don’t need and did not have any suggestions on how to solve my problem. I understand the principle of increasing sells but not providing a complete package is not the solution.

When i returned the truck,it was very very confusing, the employee should have told me to go inside and get your reciept,i asked the Representative how much did i pay total,he said it on your receipt, did not explain anything,how much gas was used including insurance this is your total,i wanted a clear explanation on what i paid for what,did not get it,other than that, i give a 3 star,had i got what i asked for, it would have been a 5 star

After booking online without any problem & no message of any issues it wasnt until After I got dropped off there & go to get the truck that they tell me I have a hold on my account & cant rent anything until I call a number on a paper they hand me... after 30+ mins on the phone holding Im told its no big deal their system just still showed my last rental from 2 or 3 months earlier hadnt been returned which was the reason they had charged me daily for 5 or 6 days after I had returned it back then!? I finally get the truck which I ended up needing extra days & I drop off after hours & their app wasnt working... 4 days go by & still no invoice & the charges look high? A week later & Im still waiting for an invoice.

Very disappointed. They rejected to refill my propane tank that was still within the 12year expiration date and told me to buy a new one at $52. The staff, supervisor and manager (Merta) told me they couldnt refill anything that was within 10years. I check their policy and regulations online and confirm that it was within 12years and they still refuse to refill it for me. I took it to Home Depot and got and exchange in less than 5mins with no issues. Uhaul is definitely a RIP off.

Uhaul did not have an available truck at my preferred and RESERVED location or time. Uhaul then moved my location TWICE to inconvenient neighborhoods that werent very friendly or safe, not to mention 30-45 min out of the way of the original route I planned to take. A Uhaul employee took myself and guest in their personal car to transport us to the third location which did not make us feel safe. There was zero compensation or apologies. I was then told my truck would be an hour and a half LATE after my RESERVED time slot. Unacceptable after dropping a large sum of money on a truck, nothing was guaranteed. Making travel and scheduling completely irrelevant. This is the WORST experience Ive ever had with any truck company and I will never be using Uhaul again.

The truck needed oil and was almost out of gas. The employees also need customer service training. They assumed I knew what to do for the pickup and return process. I had to hound them to get help. The manager also did not properly support his employees. An employee told me to go inside and tell the manager to add to my account that the truck needed oil. The manager just said youre ok dont worry and didnt do anything. The employee complained about the manager not being very good or supportive and had to go inside himself to have the manager add the note to the account.Because of all the issues, I was there 30-45 minutes longer than I needed to be to pick up the truck and another 10-15 minutes longer than needed to return the vehicle.Also, when using the truck on the freeway it shook very badly. The suspension needs work.

Train your employees on customer service. Employees showed absolutely no professionalism, they were having inappropriate conversations amongst each other, constantly on their phones, and having personal conversations on their phones. I didnt know whether they were talking to me, a co-worker, or someone on the phone.

Customer service was horrible. The worker tried to over charge us 40 dollars for renting the truck for less than 5 hours the truck was scraped up on the sides very dirty inside and out. For it to be covid 19 i would expect more on cleanliness also the truck smell like weed. The cashier was rude in his tone. Im telling everyone to avoid this place unless they want covid and a headache with rude employees. WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS LOCATION

Okay customer service, didnt expect better. Van we rented was in good condition. Transaction was fast, some things werent explained, like bringing it back with the same amount of gas. Luckily I already knew that.

The person that helped me was great, but she had no help and had to deal with multiple customers at once which made the process take 3 times longer than it should have. Also, I reserved online and used the express check in, which was supposed to cut my time in half but when I went to the location I still had to reserve as if I had just walked in. Made no sense and further dragged my time. Overall it wasnt as bad as most reviews show it to be and I will return in the future to do business.

The inside clerk that I initially made contact with was very unprofessional. Her name was Beverly or Debra. I am not really sure of her name but she was a heavyset black female. She was very rude and combative. She kept saying that she could refuse me service. I told her to do so if she wished. She refused to handle my reservation and I had to wait for her manager to do it. She needs some customer service training at the very least.

Customer service was horrible... I woke up to a charge for an additional day when I had already returned the truck the same day and I had 24 hours to return the truck. The staff in the office never answer your questions they just answer and transfer you to customer service. I highly would not recommend.

The customer service here is very bad. The cashiers that were serving today can use a training in customer service. I saw a cashier a black woman being very rude and inpatient with a customer today. Eventhough the customer was upset due to a misunderstanding with information that she got online. The cashier could have been more professional about the manner. I asked the young man for my receipt that was finished printing and her rudely said I am getting it. He was looking at the window not paying attention because my receipt had already printed

Staff here were super friendly and helpful, got us checked in and even handled changing the drop off location for our van for us.Just beware that not everyone who offers help at this location works for U-Haul. We were helped by two guys who help people load stuff in and out of their storage units and are not hired by the company. They just started helping us before we knew what was happening... we didnt complain though they were super helpful as well. Just be aware that you may want to pay them at least $40 (20 each guy)

Was the worst time wasting call ever...She says she had a auto transport available....and asked me if 4/6 hours was enough time for returning of the auto transport...once I said it cuts it short and might need a lil more time...Cuts me off and Says ..”No I do not have a Auto transport at this location Available Yes I would Still shop here...but some sort of people skills need to be implemented on to this Staff....Now let’s see what type of reprocussion I get when they read My post. 😑

Worst U haul ever!! The girl at the counter has no customer service and the worst attitude as if she didnt want to be there. She practically told me to look for another location to find what I needed because she wasnt sure if the the tow dolly was reserved, how can she not know that when they have all that info there. Anyways she didnt bother helping me to find what I needed at a different location. I called in one in Gardena and the guy there didnt have anything there either but at least he called other locations and found one that had what I was looking for. I wish i would have got her name. When paying with debit or credit make sure to send the receipt to email, I never received my receipt or my reimbursement for not using all my miles....they never answer the phone for me to talk to someone.

3 days after returning my rental. I was contacted by a company claiming I was involved in a hit a run in my rental. I was contacted by email & my cell also my listed driver on my contract was contacted by cell. I know for a fact I was never involved in an accident in the rental and this is a scam but what I dont understand is how the hell did this bogus company get all my personal information from your company.Please respond & check out how & why this is happening. Im sure Im not the first.

The mileage was inaccurate. This location charged me for 68.1 miles when in reality I only did 15 miles. There mileage is rigged. Take pictures of the mileage before you leave. Hope this helps someone else.Unfortunately they have lost my service.

Rented a truck here and they ended up taking an extra $100 off my card for some made up fees not written nor mentioned before. I even asked if there would be any fees and I was told not if Im within the milage and I refilled the tank. I complied and still was over charged. Not to mention the service was poor.
