Jonathan built us a custom shaped table for our banquette area in the kitchen. It was an odd shape, so we needed something custom. The biggest concern was that the shape would be unstable. Jonathan designed us a steel pedestal, sent us a 3D rendering, and executed everything perfectly.We just had our kitchen remodeled, and it looks nice, but the one thing everybody keeps commenting on is this incredible table. The wood is unlike anything I’ve ever seen, and sustainable!The photos on the website don’t do it justice. Go to their shop and look at the tables they have on display for yourself. Cause they’re awesome.

We were looking for a custom-sized live-edge bar table to act as a centerpiece in our condo. Jonathan and Graham understood exactly what we wanted and designed a modern/industrial/rustic piece, made from naturally-fallen local sycamore trees, which ties everything together in our “treehouse”. We’re thrilled with the final product; the attention to detail and quality of workmanship speaks for itself. The table both anchors and levitates in the space, and we’ve already enjoyed drinks with friends, hummingbird-watching, and coffee breaks at the table while working from home. I’m so happy with my new desk! I’m short so all mass-produced desks are too tall for me. Even furniture made for children are too tall! Desks that I found at large furniture outlets with adjustable or short enough heights looked terrible and are made from flimsy materials. Parkman Woodworks was able to make a sturdy desk to my exact specifications—low height, beautiful, and with enough workspace for me and two napping cats. I was able to place an order within minutes online. I filled out a simple form with my preferences and Graham responded right away. I didn’t have to leave my house. They made the desk for me and delivered it. It was so convenient.

The best! Just... wow!! I received my custom reclaimed wood slab dining table yesterday and the guys at Parkman Woodworks have FAR exceeded anything I could have ever hoped for. They have created an actual piece of art. Calling this furniture doesnt do it justice. This is a piece of art. It is perfect in every way. The beauty is breathtaking. I find myself literally just starting at it in awe. They really knocked it out of the park with this piece. It is literally perfect. I wouldnt change a single thing. I was able to pick the slab I wanted and they accommodated my requests to keep it as natural as possible, even though it was more challenging for them, they made it happen.. and then some! I was very unsure about what base I wanted, but they were patient and offered several designs and renderings for me to choose from. In the end, I was so nervous to see the final product, but when it was delivered and unveiled my jaw dropped and I think I smiled for about two hour straights. Its so perfect and beautiful I cant even express my thanks to Parkman Woodworks for making my dream dining table come true. I will have this for the rest of my life. Cant recommend the guys at Parkman Woodworks enough. These men are artists and experts in their field. I cant imagine anyone on earth doing better work then these guys. All our expectations were exceeded. From the very initial connection and the appointment at the shop to discuss options with Graham to the delivery of the table, I was impressed. However, the most important point is the absolute beauty and quality of the table. It is easy to find a reclaimed wood table at the furniture chains but this table was made to our preferences with invaluable insight from Graham. As a result it is exactly what we wanted and it is stunning and we paid no more than we hoped or expected. In addition, by having it built locally by a small business we were supporting our own community and that is important to us.

Parkman Woodworks worked with me to build my dream custom furniture and made the process easy at every step of the process. From my initial email to final delivery, I felt taken care-of through it all. There were genuinely no stupid questions and more than being accommodating, they were excited for every idea.I first reached out to Parkman to inquire about building custom bookshelves with an emphasis on reclaimed wood. My condo is a refurbished factory space, so their use of reclaimed metals was an extra bonus. My project had some strange quirks (like the pipes you can see at the top of my picture) but they worked with me to make sure the furniture would be perfect for the space. They were also excited by the idea of a bookshelf with a ladder.Despite the complications of COVID-19, Parkman couldnt have been better throughout the process. When they showed up (they made one at a time but Im presenting the final) they were even more beautiful than I expected.Parkman is now stuck with me as a customer for life. Im going to be back for more of their furniture soon. Im positively hooked.

As a mental health therapist providing telehealth, podcaster, blogger and YouTuber, I spend 10-15 hours a day at my desk. We really enjoyed working with them to bring our shelving ideas to fruition, and are blown away with the quality, design, and workmanship of the pieces they created for us. If you love the aesthetic of repurposed Douglas Fir mixed with industrial materials - this team is for you! The mix of finishes gives you the option of retaining the history etched in the surface of the wood - or going more refined. We will definitely be working with Parkman Woodworks again.

Amazing craftsmen! These guys are genuinely passionate about their work and it shows. I ordered a custom dining room table and bench to fit a relatively small space, and the results were perfect. Each piece has so much character and unique as the Douglas Fir boards that they use ae almost 100 years old taken from buildings in LA that are torn down. Graham was patient with all my questions and took the time to explain all my options for the base and the various finishes that they offer including photos of each. When I picked up the items, I got a tour of their workshop and everyone I met was extremely nice and willing to give me a brief lesson about their art. They do everything in house - cutting, shaping, welding, finishing, painting. Price was very reasonable. Highly recommend!

We recently had a table made for our kitchen and couldn’t be happier with our choice. To start with the end product: the table simply looks great, is sturdy and is obviously well-made. We came in with a good idea of what we wanted, and Graham was able to both make alternate suggestions and move in the direction we had in mind. He also gave us good guidance where we needed it. My wife had a major concern about caring for a wood top, but he uses a fantastic finishing product that provides excellent protection against spills without giving a high gloss shine, so the wood looks completely natural with just enough sheen to glow. Graham was always accommodating in responding to questions, made himself readily available, gave us time and space to figure out what we wanted. He was altogether delightful to work with from beginning to end. And I thought his price was eminently reasonable, especially given the quality of what he produced. We’ve got zero reservations in strongly recommending him and his work, and are confident others will have experiences similar to ours.

Parkman Woodworks creates some of the best custom pieces youll ever come by! My husband and I have been in search of a nice dining room table ever since we moved into our house two years ago. We live in a smaller/older home and it had been very challenging finding any table with the dimensions we needed to fit the space the table would go in. We decided it would be best to try to work with a wood working company to meet the needs of our space, enter Parkman.What we loved immediately is that they have a physical shop you can visit and are centrally located in Los Angeles. We did some measurements and reached out and started collaborating with Graham. We also really wanted to design a table with a leaf, so when we didnt have company we could collapse it to a smaller size and when we did have company we could comfortably seat six with enough space for food. We also went with reclaimed wood and a stain that tied together the new table with other furniture pieces we already have in our home. What they delivered is one of the highest quality and really stunning pieces of furniture we have in our home as it truly fits the space. I highly recommend Parkman - the quality of furniture and customer service really cannot be beat.*One note on their amazing customer service: My husband and I gave some incorrect measurements on a table that Parkman had been working on for us. When that table arrived it was way too small and could not even accommodate the chairs we had ordered for it. My husband reached out to them and they worked with us to change the table, so it would work. What you see pictured is the result of that perfect table wed been searching for. I wanted to note this because while its in everyones best interest to get their measurements right and give all details to Parkman first go around, they went out of their way to remake a table when they really didnt have to. Overall, the experience, expertise and level of trust I have based on my experience with Parkman is why I am writing this google review. If I could give them a higher rating I would. You will not be disappointed.

Graham was so great! I needed a custom, bar height table and spent HOURS searching online trying to find a table that had everything I needed (refurbished wood, bar height, hollow steel legs for the wiring, etc) and couldnt find anything. I was getting desperate. Then luckily, a friend recommended Graham to me and Im so glad he did. He built us a beautiful table with all of my requirements seamlessly and even did this during COVID-19, which was already a challenge in itself. The table was delivered in a quick, timely fashion compared to other tables that I looked into that would take 2 months +.He was very attentive, responsive, and easy to work with! Great communication from the start. Graham got back to me right away and the feel good factor was there. I knew my project (8ft custom bar with built in wine fridge) was potentially something new for them but they understood what I wanted straight away and within a few days we had the design locked at a price that worked. Once delivered, the finished piece exceeded all expectations in quality and craftsmanship. These guys are passionate about what they do and it shows.
