Been here many times and always leave with a book (or five). It’s a wonderful curated selection of books, records, and decor. Books are reasonably priced and there are even collectors items and special editions available if that’s what you’re looking for. The owner is great to talk to as well.

I love this store, and the shopkeeper - kind and easy to talk to. Its a fun, quirky atmosphere with so much cool stuff. I was just looking for housewares when I walked in, and found more than I bargained for, including some unique books which were fun to browse.

Theres some pretty sweet vintage stuff here. A genuine slice of Americana right here in Louisville, Colorado. Its kind of a consignment store if youre looking to sell but its up to the owner what gets put in his shop.

Ryan repaired a vintage tube amp for me, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. He sent me pictures, did a great job explaining what was going on with it, and both him and Mike bent over backwards to get the amp back to me. Id go back to these guys in a heartbeat.

3 stars for the selection of books & music, but 0 stars for quality control. I recently purchased 4 records here at this store and 2 of them were horribly scratched (one record is unplayable on one side). I understand that these records are vintage and some light wear is to be expected, but Im surprised that these two made it to the shelf to be sold without a warning of their condition. (And I paid $24 for one of them!) Patrons, please be sure to ask to see the records that you wish to purchase before buying them. I would make the 50 mile trip up here to ask for a refund, but its not worth it. Next time Ill know to check before I buy.

If you have the time, have fun exploring! Every nook and shelf is chock full of fun, silly, and unique gifts, books and vinyl! The owner and crew are awesome and helpful. Little Horse is a destination stop when in Louisville!

Theres a reason every young couple in the metro area makes the hajj to the Little Horse: Its a vision of sensual domesticity and a rejoinder to the sterile white squareness of modern luxury. At the Little Horse, eclecticism smirks at subway tile and your local software developer shuffling from his smart home in Allbirds. I come for the time capsule of Americana, the vinyl bins tucked away like undisclosed treasure chests and the warmth that comes from leafing through books and turning over ancient knick knacks with other people who like to touch things with their hands and smell them.Wean yourself from Spotify. Amazon Prime Now? Amazon Prime later. Look at a book and allow yourself to be seduced by it. Slow it down. Thats the business model of the Little Horse, anyway; and Im buying it.

Delightful vintage shop. Old cameras, used books, used vinyl (lots of jazz!), tasteful knick knacks. Good buyer for such a small space.

Cool little vintage shop. Small, but good selection of vinyl, and stereo equipment. Really funky shop! As for the comment about scratched records, Ive bought over 25 records from Little Horse, and all were in very good condition, not one was scratched or warped FYI.

Prices are on the steep end but they have a great selection of vinyl and their rare books section has some great options. I could spend a solid afternoon going through this store.
