Our designer Nicole was fantastic. She listened to us and provided expert suggestions in a helpful and non pushy way. Her designs ere impeccable and she also helped us stay within our budget. This is one of several pieces we had custom designed for our condo by Emerald from California Closets. We did not have them design any closets. They custom designed and build this entire wall unit after we had a gas fireplace installed. Now we have room for wine, bourbon, bar accessories and hand made glass pieces from here in Louisville. In addition to this custom piece we had a custom kitchen pantry cabinet in the same black material installed to expand our kitchen storage. A wall cabinet for additional storage and a entry hallway cabinet that serves as a bike garage for my husbands bike, truly a one of a kind piece. Some day we may have our closets done....

Emerald Feland, designer assisted me in the design but more importantly her passion about perfection and beauty sold me to go with this company. I had her design my current walk in closet with the old closet being totally removed giving me more hanging spaces with shelf’s I now have twice the space to Store clothing and shoes . She did a closet in hallway which was a space with no purpose and this provides storage for bath accessories as well as hanging cloths. To complete my comprehensive closet and storage space added another closet in my guest bedroom with double wardrobe style hanging and shelf’s for storage. I have a clutter free home environment and no overcrowded closets or shelf. This was the best deal and makes my life much more at ease and less worry about space. Not to mention it’s beauty of design and the materials used ! Emerald was the planner and designer to make my home beautiful .

I absolutely love the walk-in pantry that California Closets designed for me! I used them several years ago for a walk-in closet design in a different house and couldn’t wait to work with them again when we began building our new home. I was incredibly pleased with my experience from start to finish. The design experience was great and Erin made sure to help maximize the space and had incredible ideas to do so. Lucy Kaplan has been my contact person at CA Closets in Louisville for about 3 years ago. I first made contact with her when i was shopping around for closet options. I ultimately decided to go with Lucys design. At the time I owned condo and needed to improve my space. She and her team did such an excellent job that when I moved to my new home in March 2020, i immediately contacted her and she actually came and measured the day I moved in and within a day or so, I had several options for different areas/closets. It was an older home in the Highlands with very mall closets! I finally decided to do the master closet and the guest closet. Then COVID 19 hit and it wasnt until June 1 that the install was able to happen. And...even though I had to wait, I couldnt be happier. Matt (the installer) did an excellent job and it was, once again, a fantastic experience. I am happy with the quality, the design, the cost and the lifetime warranty! I have referred Lucy & California Closets to my daughter and will refer to them anyone else who might need space improvement!

Cali Closets of Louisville has done 2 different jobs for us now. Their design and installation has been top notch. On the last job, a pantry - office file storage combination in our condo - has proven to be both beautiful and functional, important in our limited space.There was an open shelf area which was initially not finished to a high level (exposed brackets), but they stood behind their work and replaced some of the components so that now everything looks fully finished. It’s always such a pleasure when a company stands behind their work.

Emerald did an amazing job mapping out our new closet and the install was a breeze. Our guy was just the best!

The representative came to my home and we discussed what I wanted and also my budget range. She came back about a week later and showed me her 3D drawing on her laptop and it was like walking into what the closet would look like when finished. I had several choices in finish colors on rods and also cabinet colors and tops. This project came about because we redid our master bedroom by replacing carpet with hardwood floors and repainting everything including the master bathroom. That made our closets look awful not to mention when we built the home they were using that horrid coated wire rods and shelving. Although my husband at first didnt want to redo the closets once they were done he was WOW they do look great and are much more functional. I added floor to ceiling shelving for shoes and a dresser system under the window in the closets. They have same as cash financing so we do not regret making this fantastic upgrade!

Everything about the process was great. My wife was more involved than me. Erin was very professional and built a closet that met our needs. The communication was excellent leading up to our install. The installers called the morning of to let us know when they would be there. We would definitely recommend.

Brandon LaBray installed the cabinets, bookcases, window seat, and Murphy bed in my small condo. He is both an artist and a craftsman. I was quite impressed with his skill level, especially when having to deal with the unexpected. While we both had to juggle our schedules a bit, he made it well worth the wait.

Folks were timely and the product beautiful. Another company declined the job because it appeared too complicated. The draftsman from California Closet had a plan in minutes. I am so glad the other company turned us down. The job was a little more expensive than I had hoped but well worth it for the result. A neighbor came over and looked, said it was her dream closet. Just a bunch of generic boards, overpriced. Go order from Ikea, get the same look at a better price.
