My ex sold some Pokémon cards here. Got a pretty good amount for them. Everything seems to be pretty reasonably priced, and everyone was super friendly.

Shawn is a Jerk but the rest of the staff was very friendly and helpful. Especially the cute young lady who stayed late to help me Thank you. They dont pay much for used stuff and will only take 25 items per visit. Lotsa stuff in the store also

This is a hidden treasure in Louisville. The staff is amazing and always happy to help. They have a great return and damage policy that makes buying used games an easy sell. They have a lot of unique items and a feeling you get from shopping there is something you cant get at other game stores.

Very fun store! We stopped in after seeing online that they carried discontinued Superhero action figures. Good selection and fair prices. They definitely carry lots of video games, consoles, comic books, movies, records, statues, and toys/collectibles! Awesome store and great staff!!!

Really cool place for anyone interested in nerdy stuff, not just videogames. I always find something interesting when I go. Employees are really cool and knowledgeable as well.

Go in to sell a couple of electronics, they act like they dont even want to anything. And complain the whole time about how they dont know how to work this new technology, it was a Chromecast.....

Horrible place that try’s to rip you off, they say they give you around 20 to 30 percent of what your Pokémon cards are worth and they offered my step son 25 dollars for cards that came up to well above 150 dollar and all in good condition. Just like game stop I get they have to make money but a 70% mark up of what you get items for is ridiculous.

This is a good place to get games and movies and things of that nature. I bought some Skylanders here just a couple days back. I will say I dont recommend trading most of your games here. You will probably be better off selling them online like the fb marketplace.

Its a fine store to buy in but they offer very little, marginally better than gamestop, for trade-ins. Pokemon Sun trade in for 5 dollars? Yea, okay. Go to Book and Music Exchange theyre a much better business for typical consumers plus they have books.

So many games and DVDs!!!! Its hard to find good priced DVDs now with all the online subscriptions and they have so many varieties!!!! Im able to come in and get my games and movies buffed out for only a $1 each. They even buy action figures! Super awesome place, sucks that I didnt know about it sooner.

The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. I called before going there because I was looking for a certain game. The gentleman I spoke to took the time to go look on the shelf to verify he had the game I was wanting.

Staff here is AMAZING. cool dudes and dudette I think lol. But they pay better for used games and DVDs than game stop ... Plus they have a huge array of games for every console. And if you have any questions the staff there is sure help. Me and my fiance always leave there having had a good laugh and conversation. TEN!!!

I walked in and they told me that I have to have a mask. I explained that I have immunity as I had Covid and my doctor specifically said that I have immunity. In addition I explained that due to my low oxygen levels it is not safe for me to wear one. I was told that “we can’t have you in here”.I support a business as private property owners, if they want to require this. I do not however expect to be discriminated against due to health concerns beyond my control especially in the face of someone to be rude as a result thereof and completely overlooking common sense!Furthermore, In spite of me going into this place to support a local business verses the corporate competitors, I would think that my business would be appreciated. I was there to buy an entire gaming system, controllers, as well as a handful of games and possibly a TV.I have witnessed first-hand what this government propaganda has done in the way of destroying the small businessman and like to help. However, the small businessmen need to help themselves. Throwing out a paying customer for not wanting to endanger themselves due to a “plannedemic” with a death rate of .002% and far less to people under the age of 63 years old, not a good look.This is exactly why the American businessman will be rooted out, the spineless sheep that roll over to every once of propaganda that comes out of the magic box in the living room! Think for yourself and STOP bowing down to oppression of the KY dictator Andy! Stand up for common sense. As if wearing a mask that is scientifically proven to not do a single bit of good to stop the spread of this mostly benign illness is somehow making your store safer. As though the people wearing these non-medical grade face coverings after touching their face all day and then pawing everything in your filthy little store somehow makes you a better American! After switching my business from game stop to game extreme, I have spent a lot of money here. I bought a wii a couple days ago. Still in the store packing, haven’t taken out of the bag. Called to see if there was any Wii U, and if I could bring the wii back and buy the Wii U which is more money. Store employee josh says I could sell it back for a lower amount. But if it was broken I could. Makes no sense but ok. I told him I am a loyal customer to that store and I would take my business else were if that’s how they would treat a customer. After all I was going to be bringing back a system that was 60 dollars and buying one for 160 which is still in packaging. He proceeds to say “whatever” and hangs up on me. I called back and ask for manger or store owners info. In which he refuses to give me any info stating store policy. I was eventually able to get a mangers work time for Monday. Unless this is fixed, I will be taking my business else where.

I love this place. The one and only issue I had the manger made it more then right to the point where I felt bad for even getting a little cranky. They are great people who have the best customer service. I feel like big companies could learn from this place. This is the only place that I will shop for my gaming needs.

Prices are decent and they take trade ins. Some things are high for used games ... over all they have games for all the old systems really cheap and sell things you cant find easily. They also check the working order of their trades before they take them. The only downside is the return system... you cant get money back if an item doesnt work .... you only receive in store credit, but they will exchange any non working item for a replacement or full price store credit within 30 to 90 days depending on the item... just make sure you really want what you purchase!

Absolutely love the selection in here. Brings back memories of the 80s for sure. They have just about every game system created ranging from the original gameboy all the way to the newest playstation. And the staff, simply amazing. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and an all around great attitude. Prices were even decent. Nice little tucked away store out on Outer Loop.

Gave us really good prices in trade ins. And got good deals on three new games. They only do game resale so if your looking for the newest games theyre not the place to go, but if you look for good deals and great trade in values i would highly recommend. They also have a large quantity of older games for older consoles.

A better alternative to gamestop. Unless you want a new release. I wish the owner would realize that having new releases brings in more business even if you arent seeing much profit from the sale. I would give up gamestop if this were the case.

That place is a scam the truth although they sell things at reasonable prices, compared to other stores, they cheated me, so I suggest to anyone who goes to buy there that they think well what they are going to buy because they are not accepted returns, much less the return of money since they do not make. But it is much more digestible that they do not go to buy anything there, everything is used. It is much more worth buying in stores that are not clandestine like this one.

The employees were incredible and super friendly! Helped me find exactly what I needed for my Xbox 360! Its completely out of my way, but Ill definitely go back. They also had a really good selection of older games like GBA, SNES, etc.

Game Factor used to be my one stop shop for video games back in the day. Never cared for Book and Music or Gamestop. This place reminds me of Game Factor, RIP. Helpful and friendly staff on top of great deals for your buys and trades. You cant ask for more than that out of this kind of store. I hope they succeed where others have struggled in the years to come.

Was in the store walking around looking at everything and neither employee acknowledged me. They advertise they have everyone beat in price but at 50 a controller and systems that sell for under 180 going for over 230 clearly that isnt true. Ive seen almost everything these guys offer cheaper elsewhere. But hey if you wanna buy some dvds and feel like youre at book and music exchange check these guys out. Or save yourself time and money and go anywhere else.

Was looking for a place to shop for retro games and found this gem. They had everything you could want from Atari to PS4 and the assistant manager was very friendly and knowledgeable. I also appreciated chatting with a regular that stopped by while I was browsing. Ill be going back soon.

Ive traded in items and purchased, great experience each time. Its a retail store so prices are to be expected, but they are fair. The employees I have talked to each time are friendly as well. Solid place in my opinion.

Terrible service. I picked out a game and had my card in my hand. 3 ppl behind the counter 1 was busy with a customer and the other 2 were busy test pitching an idea about custom controllers to a customer that wasnt really interested. They wanted to take their idea to who I assume was the boss but wanted to run it by a random customer first. After about 5 mins waiting, He didnt buy anything and neither did I.
