Great place! Honestly thought it was gonna be lame for me and my friends. (Im 21 and they are 23 and 26) but this place was awesome! So interactive and the games had so many levels and types. I recommend for anybody coming with 2 people or 10. Kids or adults!

It was so much fun - our whole family had a blast! We went back for another round the same day. its a great experience and a really good workout! There are plenty of games to choose from, and there are several different ways you can play. You pick your difficulty level - great flexibility. Games are challenging physically and mentally - but are so much fun! Staff were awesome - available to help and very friendly. This is a great experience for the entire family!

Definitely a great place to do some fast paced physical activities with or without a group. Were taking running from wall to wall with avoiding laser beams, the whole floor is lava besides key areas you sprint to, and more.There is a water fountain and a few vending machines on the premise in case you get dehydrated!

We went as a fun date idea for 2 adults, we had so much fun! The levels actually can get quite difficult so it is fun for kids and adults. The competitive modes are the most fun, but co-op modes offered a different level of challenge and teamwork. There are so many different challenges, you are bound to find one or two you enjoy. Love this business concept and wish we had one in Chicago!

My 12 year old and myself went here on a spur of the moment type thing while we were in town. This place was AMAZING. Keeps you entertained for over an hour, makes you definitely work out and sweat and we even got a water bottle at the end because we got enough points.I would recommend anyone check this place out!

What a great concept! Instead of being a coin based arcade you are in the games! No virtual nothing, enter the game and play! Super friendly staff and a very clean place to visit! We had a wonderful time and actually got the heart racing during the games. What a great place to bring your video game generation people!

My husband and I had a blast! Defiantly a great date night!!!! There are so many different games to play and so many levels to beat! Its competitive, mentally challenging and physically challenging. You will work up a sweat. Your personal tracker tallys your points for a prize at the end. We won water bottles. You will have so much fun. $25pp on Saturdays.

The concept of this attraction was absolutely mind blowing! My friends and I had a great time running around and playing all the different kinds of games! Do not worry about loose items, they provide you with a free locker to hold everything so you don’t lose it. Not only is there many different rooms but those rooms also have different game modes and there’s just so much to explore. It’s quite the workout for both the mind and body and it can get really intense, which I like. There was one issue with a room called “Super Grid” and the game was essentially unbeatable due to some mechanical issues, which I think stemmed from people jumping on the floor too hard. However, since there’s so much more to do it really didn’t effect my group at all and we had a blast even without that room. You are entirely independent the whole time but the staff are always happy to help with any questions. Also, after you’re done with your session, when you walk out into the main area with all the rooms there is one really expensive camera that you can use to take pictures of yourself by scanning the wristband you have. The pictures come out fantastic and I honestly love that they have it. Plus, the pictures go straight to your email for you to use and you don’t even have to pay for them! I personally have used a pic with my friend to post on social media because it looks like it was taken by a professional, and I also used another picture for my profile picture. This camera has made my social media image 10x better. I honestly love this place so much and I think very highly of the entire thing. It’s an amazing place for you to go with friends or family but you can’t really go here by yourself so keep that in mind. I’d rate 10 stars if I could!

Activate is one of the coolest places! My entire family loves it. My seven year old and eleven year old have a blast every time we go. It’s also a great place to go on a double date. You will not be disappointed if you love an athletic challenge that coincides with challenging puzzles.

Fun and totally unique experience. Be prepared to go on a day/time when others might not, because it is much less fun when you have to wait for a room or game. Also be prepared to sweat because the games are very physical.I wish there was a season pass or something so I could justify going more often.

Activate games is our new favorite date spot! It’s so much fun, we each have our favorite rooms but have a great time no matter what. With the individual rooms it feels like you’re the only ones there. Absolutely love it!

Weve been to Activate twice now, once with kids and once with adults. It was an absolute blast both times! The only issue weve ran into is they ran out of water bottles that you get after accumulating so many points, but thats just more reason for us to go back!! Fun for all ages!

We live about three hours away from this place, but my boys BEG me to go to activate every time we are in Louisville. So much fun for the whole family!!! Not cheap, but definitely worth it.

Amazing family place. Such a variety of games to play for each area, meaning theres so much that everyone can enjoy. It was mine and my moms (age 24 and 44) first time going, and well be sure to come back with the 10 year old sister. I recommend highly.

Loved this place. We went two days in a row. The staff were very friendly. The second day we showed up as requested by the confirmation email 15 minutes which confused staff because it was before they were ready and two of the rooms were not working but it was still fun. Would love to see one of these at Wisconsin Dells!

Great family activity. We’ve taken kids who range between 8-9, and they have a blast every time. It’s a great place to get the kids up and moving. The adults plan on going back for date nights as well.

Activate games was recommended to me by a coworker. This is a very cool place and different from anything that I’ve been to. Everything was very clean with cleaning schedules posted on the rooms. Hand sanitizer is available too.Me and my kids were greeted when we walked though the door. They walked us through the process. They have a nice, secure storage area of your stuff. It is accessed by a wrist band.Once completing the registration process we were greet by someone else that gave more details on the gaming process. There are a number of rooms, each is something different. Each game has 2-4 variations and up to 8 levels.As the name hints, these are active games. You will be sweating. There’s some running, jumping, crawling and throwing. We were there for 75 minutes and That was plenty. While some of the games are hard, my 9 year old had no issues.I would definitely recommend Activate Games for families that would like to do something different. I could see it being a lot of fun for couples and work teams.

A great surprise and a lot of fun, Activate Games will have you sweating through your mask. 11 rooms await the hapless family who wonders into Activate. Each room has between 2 and 4 different variations on the theme of the room. The themes differ wildly between basketball hoops with Simon says, or point totals, to walls of lights where you have to find the pattern, to lasers you must dodge in a race against time. So many options to explore in a typical 75 min play period. Definitely replay value, so the family will be back. Everyone had a wonderful, if not sweat drenched time. And to add to the replay, they offer rewards for various levels of play. Winning games wins stars which garner rewards such a water bottles and t-shirts.From a Covid standpoint, common areas required masks. In the rooms where the action occurs, since its only your family, you are allowed to lower your mask. I did see several instances of employees sanitizing rooms, so that was reassuring as well.

Fun outing for most all ages as long as you can be ACTIVE. High energy, accommodating staff who exhibited patience with younger kids. Theres a learning curve to getting accustomed to the games. Play for 75 minutes then you feel like you have the hang of it well enough to come back for more. According is arbitrary and kind of gimmicky but who cares...its a blast!

This was our first time at an experience like this, and we went as a family with peopme ages 47, 44, 17 and 13 years so quite the spread! Your initial purchase gets you 75 minutes of game time, and youre able to roam the entire facility.We tried all the games and modes at least once with all of us having different favorites. The best game for us was Hoops Trivia, but the kids enjoyed Climb and the Grid.When you enter, you are given a bracelet that is tied to your personal account, and you scan this bracelet at the entrance to every game. When all your players scan in, you hit Start and are then prompted to enter the game room. It is all fun and hilarity from there (except when your teenagers decide youve messed up).One of the things I appreciated most about the facility is the cleanliness despite a huge number of people coming and going and the personal locker. I love the lockers!! One person in the party gets a blue bracelet, and the lockers are opened by scanning the bracelet. They are spacious and easily held a bag of water bottles, 3 purses, all our coats, keys, phones and wallets.A great way to spend the afternoon, and Ill happily come back to keep earning points and stars!

We had a great time. There are so many games to chose from and they are all really fun. I suggest wearing comfortable clothes because you will be jumping and crawling on the ground. I highly recommend this place. We cannot wait to go back.

This place is so awesome and fun! I visited with my teenage daughters and we had a great time! There are changing rooms and lockers. The wristbands are very comfortable and easy to use when activating the games. We played for 75 minutes and loved every second of it! There is a big variety of games with various levels. Some of our favorites were Lasers, Trench, and Hoops. We will definitely be back!

I am down with this place. Really cool. They could even do team building exercises with businesses. I enjoyed the fun and teamwork with my family and I can imagine returning here to see what it looks like two years from now.I live out of town and this was a super fun activity to do with family or friends. We leveled up on certain rooms and you can kind of find your niche after you go through all the rooms.

We had a great time. While we were there we experienced a family that didnt want to wear masks (They ditched theirs after they got through sign in) One of the employees asked the family to put on masks, the family refused and ran into one of the game rooms. In the meantime, the employee went to the front and got masks for them, waiting outside the room until they came out. Ive been vaccinated, but I can tell you that a majority of the people in there are under 16 and unvaccinated, so I appreciate the employees working hard to keep everyone safe. It sucks that one family thinks they have the right to endanger everyone else.

It was really fun. We took our 7 and 9 year old girls. Obviously we had trouble with them sometimes following directions, we had so much fun... Even with my broken ankle and boyfriend broken wrist. It was tough on the 2 of us to actually compete in a game that we were all capable of doing. Next time well go without broken bones!

My 19 year old son and I went for our first time this weekend. We had no idea what we were doing at first but it is so easy to pick it up as you go.I had a great time and will definitely be going back.

We visited Activate games early February 2021. The staff was friendly, everything was clean, it was not crowded, perfectly social distanced. It is important to note that you must listen to the instructions as you enter each room or you won’t know what to do. After we figured out how to play each game the kids had a lot of fun. Some activities were physically exhausting others were fun. Over all my 4 12 year olds had a blast.

Nice for date night or a group of friends, or with family with older kids. Definitely could be a bonding experience.

This place is awesome the staff are super friendly especially Evan man he is a great guy answers all questions you have. This place will have you active and exgt when you leave. This place is perfect has really great activity.

My daughter and I had a great time. It offered a mental challenge, as well as physical. Good bonding experience. It gave us a wide variety of games to choose from. We did all of them and had lots of time to go back and redo the challenges we really liked. We will definitely stop here again the next time we are driving through Louisville.

No game was the same except for a super version of one; and there was enough variety and difficulty that it makes you want to try them over and over. Customer service was great. When there was a game that was malfunctioning, the staff was quick to respond to get it working.The actual place was clean and roomy! The gaming environment uses a futuristic lighting style ala tron and also a robot narrator voice that takes your experience to another level. There is a lot of changing lights, so if one is prone to developing a migraine due to light sensitivity, take precaution. The actual games dont take long to complete so the queue and wait is short enough to not make you want to walk away.The games work with any group size but some benefits bigger or smaller groups better. I thought it was just gonna be all physical but there is a couple of games that require more of a mental concentration than a physical one.The two downsides Ive experienced is: 1. Sometimes, youll encounter a group that wouldnt leave the room in time before your game (too much fun?) so then youre forced to do the game with them still in the room- slightly awkward situations of instant extra group coordination. 2. The instructions for some of the games arent the clearest- but once youve done it, you get the idea then try again.I could definitely see this as a good team building retreat for companies.A new place, a different offering compared to the usual retro arcade and adult arcade with extra offerings and laser tag found in Louisville.

We have told everyone about this place. You get a workout and fun all in one! Definitely will be back, this place is so wonderful! Staff was also so helpful and nice! No complaints at all!

This place was simply amazing. I found it on Groupon and decided to do it for the kids. We watched the video and was super excited. The staff are wonderful and friendly. The games are so much fun. I wouldn’t wear a sweatshirt because you will be very active. Hope you enjoy as much as we did.

Was a great family event, every game included each member of our team, so everyone was included and had to work together....really made you use your mind, work together and was a great physical activity. We all loved every minute of it!! Found a coupon on Groupon so the price for all of us was really good!! I only wish they had more locations, they have 2 in Canada and one here 🙄. Really enjoyed our time at activate games. Laid back atmosphere that allows you to play whatever games you like. Great exercise too. In my opinion the retail price is too expensive, but with a coupon it was a good deal. Will most likely go again.

Activate Games Louisville was a lot of fun! The setup/layout of the games and how you access them was easy. There were cups at the water fountain available whenever we were thirsty. My favorite thing was being able to take a group photo with the Activate backdrop and that it was instantly emailed to me for free!

We had a great time. Tons of different ways to play the games and fun for everyone in our party. We loved working together!

We loved Activate Games! Our 10 year old went with us and enjoyed it too. We enjoyed doing the games as a family. Our 5 year old was a bit scared so I would recommend leaving the littles with Grandma or a sitter.
