Josh was very helpful and knowledgeable. He helped me set up my bow and get it sighted it in. Price was amazing and the shop is just great people helping you out. Will not go anywhere else for my bow needs. Thanks again guys!

The Shack is like a home away from home. The staff is excellent and thats an understatement. If anyone is looking to purchase a bow of any kind, or wanting to learn how to use one safely this is the only place to go. Im a Veteran and they make me always feel welcome and at home. Josh spent 4 hours helping me pick a bow, teaching me to shoot, customizing the bow to me and installing all the accessories I wanted. It was a very enjoyable experience and I was really impressed with the level of customer service. Definitely recommend.

My son and I went to the Archery Shack today. I met with Bruce and my son met with Josh. I found out there was almost nothing right about the bows from Academy. However, by the time we left, I am confident our bows and new equipment will do well for us. My son and I both look forward to more father/son time with our new hobby in the future! I have been going here for years, great people, very kind and helpful. They treat you like family once you get to know them and are great for beginners. They are very involved in 4H archery and love to be any assistance to our coaches and students, as a fellow 4H student I have the trust and full support in what they are doing and teaching to us young generations.

Im not sure what has happened to this place in the recent months, but no one answers the phone. In the past years, I have had great experiences with this business, but I live almost 2 hours away, and Im unwilling to make the trip if I dont know if my parts have arrived. I have called and left messages and no one gets back with me. Additionally, I tried to call back today (19 March), and now the mail box is full!

Great place! Great group of people! Decided I wanted to try my luck at archery and I am so grateful that I learned of the Archery Shack. Bruce, Karen and Josh are all very friendly and knowledgeable about the sport and products. Started lessons with Josh and now I am completely hooked. Even our six year old had taken a liking to archery!!!

Great Place!!! I went in on a Saturday to get a new string on a used bow and get my bow tuned. Buying a used bow I just wanted to be on the safe side. The guy that helped me said my string was fine and he would tune it up for me. He could of easily just charged me $125.00 for a new string and tune. In less then an hour he tuned bow, leveled my arrow rest, adjusted my peep sight, added a new D ring, adjusted my bow for my draw and 60# of pull. What a great place! They earned a customer today as well as my two buddies that went with me. I will be back to the Archery Shack and tell all my hunting buddies this is the place to go, they have everything you need and a good selection of used bows as well.

Friendly helpful staff willing to answer all my beginner questions and advised me on recommended equipment without upselling. Would recommend any experienced or beginner archer give them a visit

Archery Shack is absolutely top notch. I knew absolutely nothing about compound bows but they set me up, let me shoot until I couldnt hold my arm up any more, and sent me on my way with an accurate and functional compound bow. Their thirty yard indoor range was fantastic on a cold, rainy spring day and absolutely everyone who came and went was friendly, patient, and enthusiastic about all things archery.

Everything is awesome, but what make this place even better is the people, from the staff to the people who shoot there regularly.I really enjoyed the 4 hours competition.

Bruce, Josh, Kadee and the whole staff are friendly and really make you feel welcome. And are willing to give helpful tips. They are a fun group.

I brought my bow in to the archery shack for a new string set, tuning, and some fletchings done on my arrows. I just bought a Hoyt carbon defiant turbo last year from a shop up in Missouri and was not happy with the set up at all. So Im already a little hesitant to leave my baby in a new shop. Words can not express the amazing level of customer service I received at archery shack. From the moment I walked in I was greeted and made to feel right at home. The amount of knowledge and experience behind that desk is 2nd to none! When I picked up my bow everything was perfect. They even spent a little extra time with me paper tuning it after hours. I did end up having one issue. A mistake was made, but b4 I could even ask what could be done Bruce already had it resolved. These guys are top notch and I can vouch for it. Good people and great business men! Theyve earned a customer for life

Had a birthday party here for my daughter. Think dodge ball, but using foam padded arrows instead. It was great!

I called them earlier in the day to ask if they could tune my bow the same day because I live 1.5 hours from town..and I am going to Utah in a few weeks for mule deer...they said yea would not be a problem on the phone..so I told them I would be there that afternoon ...when I arrived it has turned to the next day maybe ...im not a seasoned bow hunter and to be honest I dont know what my draw length is...the guy made me feel dumb when he asked me 3 different times what my draw length and weight was set at...and I didnt know...needless to say I left without spending any money...just because Im shooting a $500 dollar bow doesnt mean I dont have the money to spend!

My wife goes into his shop and he gives her 10% off of my sight, arrow rest and trigger and $50 off the bow I wanted without her even asking for it. He is dedicated to his customers and when I came back to him him about my bow he spent an hour taking care of my bow and didnt charge me a dime. This man is not a money hungry person. Best bow shop in Lubbock. They have everything you need and a huge selection of bows. Staff is super friendly.

Took a bow in to be restrung, was told it would be ready in 10 days. At 13 days I called and was told it wasn’t ready because they could not build the string in house and it had to be ordered, and would be ready in a week. I waited 2 weeks and drove by expecting it to be ready and was told it wasn’t ready, because they didn’t have one of the colors we had asked for on the string and so they weren’t able to build it. So now it’s being built in house again? A few days later I emailed to inquire and complain about the service, and asked for a timeline. I received no reply. So I called and was told by Saturday it would be ready for sure. I go to pick it up on Saturday, and was charged $145 for the restring, when i was quoted an even $100 when i brought it in. I get home and my wife starts shooting it, it’s now shooting 10” low. So I measure ata and brace height, wouldn’t you know my ata is 3/4” long. Only explanation is my strings were built long. So after 5 weeks of back and forth I have a set of useless strings which I was overcharged for. Lovely...Good people, lousy service.

Never in my life have I ever had such terrible service. I came in with my husband and his friend 30 mins ago. The guy who took car of us was a tall skinny young guy. I came in to test out one bow my husbands friend came in to test 3. He helped husband friend set up his bow took him to the range then completely ignored me. I waited and waited and then another customer came in and he helped them so when our friend was done I was too mad to talk to the owner and we just left. My husband had been a bow tech for years and has work at a stores like this before and agrees that it was very unprofessional. I sat and watched him talk to a lady about owning someone money when he could have been setting up the bow I wanting to shoot!
