I’m rating Lubbock Michael’s at one star. Today I came in to buy ribbon for homecoming mum and nothing was stocked. I went to resister to ask for assistance.I had to use a garden flag hook to get a box of Ribbon down for myself after waiting for help that never came.

This store is full of hobby type products. I go here for painting supplies, arts crafts, beadwork, gifts, yarn, or just to simply look around. Michaels has a 20% off coupon that you can access through the website which can be a great deal if you need to purchase something at full price. Lots of different choices for colors and home decor. Candles as well as decorative items can be found in this store. I also love their unique bakeware area. They carry many things from Wilton including cake pans, decorating supplies, books, and icing kits. Just about anything you need in order to do the hobby of your choice.

Store seemed to be out of stock of a lot of things. The layout of the store is not intuitive to me. It feels unorganized and chaotic to me. Floors were dirty. Did not find staff to assist me in finding what I needed. Maybe understaffed??

Maybe because the seasons are changingbut so much had been picked over, not much was left, although Michaels has good sales .Thank you Michaels for serving the Lubbock community !

Michaels, seems to appear to have e v e r y t h i n g.I went in on a sunday because the other craft store in town was closed, and picked up some last minute supplies to make a flower hair clip for a dios de los muertos costume. The associate that helped direct me to where specific items were located was extremely nice and helpful, despite how busy it was right before Halloween.*Pro tip: The have an aisle with mirrors so if you need to see how something (for example color matching a flower garland to your face/ is this flower too big for my head) will look...you can go there and check yoself out in the mirrors.The line was long since it was a busy day but the cashiers are efficient and the line moved fast. They gave me a 15% off coupon on the receipt.Michaels is a stalwart has outlasted some other businesses in that plaza (circuit city Im looking at you); Michaels will satisfy all your craft needs.

Store was a mess and the employees were not nice/friendly. I was walking in the tiny isle and had at least two employees try to pass me when there was obviously no room to do so. There were other isles that were empty they could have used.. definitely was not socially distanced.

I understand that times are hard right now for everyone, so I ordered just a couple dollars worth of things I need for school to not take up any unnecessary time. I waited 5 hours and then called, only to have a very rude employee pick up and tell me my stuff wasn’t ready. She wouldn’t even answer my questions and she hung up on me. I was on the phone for less than one minute and part of that was the automated system, I wasn’t even wasting her time.

I could spend a lot of time in this store, they have a great variety of arts and crafts supplies. Their coupons are pretty good and they always have sales. The holiday decor is great. The staff is friendly.

Love the Halloween selection, Hong lobby does not plan on having anything, they already are set up for Christmas

Well organized craft store. Seasonal supplies are switched out and displayed early while their main Staples are kept in familiar places. I enjoy the help I receive when I ask for it.

I like Michaels better than Hobby Lobby. The store is less overwhelmingly crowded, its open on Sunday, and there are usually good clearance sales and coupons available online. Really good selection of picture frames and art pens.

Its alright. Kinda pricey though, and the shelves are a bit bare, like they are in a perpetual state of needing to stock.

The Lubbock Michaels has seemed to actually improve each year, which I feel isnt typical of most stores. They have great selection, particularly of storage boxes (decorative and practical) and yarn. Also, always great deals on half the store with significant discounts. Highly recommend.

I love this store. Most people are nice but since covid customer service has gone down. The girl upfront overwhelmed because she checks out and has to disinfect baskets.

They had a lot of great seasonal decoration options. A little bit smaller selection than other stores of hobby and craft supplies. But its definitely a great quick stop for a hobbyist or decorator

Great store for hobby supplies and crafts. Also have a nice photo and picture framing service or do it yourself frame if youre into that or economizing. Reasonable prices on everything.

Fun for crafting, wedding and other special occasion enhancements. Small, but very nice faux floral/greenery, and other decor. Nice seasonal offerings. Frames and framing assistance. Charms and jewelry findings.

This store was very crowded and and was poorly stocked. Shelves needed to be faced and better organized, it was difficult to find anything. The items that showed on line as being in stock in this store location we not available. Im not sure what took place from my last visit to the current visit but I have seen it in better shape than this.

They had everything I needed to make my own Teacher Planner, Happy Planner style! The downer is that the purchase line was long with only two checkers. They were polite and apologized for the wait. I was in and out in 15 minutes!

Overall Im happy with this store. They have a good selection with good prices. My only complaint is I can never find a staff member to help when I need them and the lines are always very long. Other than that I have enjoyed shopping here.

Geez, this store is my favorite commercial place for decor, crafting, and art supplies. Lots of little old ladies and suburban moms to bob and weave through in the store but theyre usually sweet so the shopping experience is fairly pleasant as well. Dont forget to check the website for coupons; there are really good ones EVERY. GOSH. DARN. DAY.
